I've watched this so many times in the past 4 years and never tire of it. Enter this for Eurovision every year and it would win. Mans and Petra are still the best hosts.
I remember dying of laughing in front of the TV at the time and my parents were like "what's wrong with our daughter ?" because there was no subtitles and they don't speak english (we're french). And I'm still in love with this, it's so Eurovision ! XD
I love how this video is still relevant today. The Mans' suit was a nod to Sakis Rouvas a Greek competitor who always wears something white and shows some chest and Petra's was a nod to the Swedish winner from 1999 Charlotte Perrelli "Take me to your heaven".

Really glad the EBU finally let you react to that. You and your channel are amazing and I really love your videos. And I loved love love peace peace btw, one of my favourite eurovison moments x
That song is the BEST of the BEST of the ESC! They all have fun, it makes me nostalgic and cry buckets everytime. Cause it's just so perfect in every way! ♥♥♥ I'd love to have another "Love love Peace Peace" next year 2021 THIS should have win the ESC 2016!
You should really react to the other numbers the hosts did in 2016 :) (and also Petra Medes interval act in 2013) And also you should react to the sevond most popular interval act from Sweden Lynda Woodruff she was mostly in the 2013 contest but also had a small part in 2016
Lifeofsundancekid I agree, the script writer for 2013 and 2016 is amazingly good when it comes to making a great show! And Petra is hands down the best host ever, I remember the arena chanting her name over and over again for like a minute or two
Thank you Jake! It’s so lovely to see someone as enthusiastic about ESC as you. Especially for someone who has only recently come to it. I know you’ve just done a non-entry song from 2016 but you should also check Petra and Mans opening revue from Semi Final 1, I think.

I don't know if you realise that this year, some people thought about this song when they did their shows 😂😂😂. Eurovisión 2018 has: a violin, an invented language, a burning piano, an old man...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Anyway, best song ever! 👌🏻
Oh Jake, I just found your channel and really enjoy it. You're so warm, nice and cute. I was going to your videos to see what you think about Loreens new performance for ESC and realised THAT YOU HAVE QUIT MAKING VIDEOS??!!!! You quit before I even knew that I would miss you! 😢 Come back!
you're in for an intriguing treat when you get to Chloe & Donatan, 2014, Mi Slowanie. (The girl churning butter is just the head of the interesting scenery provided).
Hey Jake! Here is Lithuania again :D So, in the ending of video you asked the translation of "peace" from English into Lithuanian. It's " Ramybė". " Y" and "ė" are long sounds, y is long i [ i: ] and ė is long e [e:] . By the way, thank you for reacting this song! Glad to know that you also love it!!
For those who like this, you should check out " Tingaling" from Mellfest 2009 ( that year Russia was going to host) . It's a parodi on swedes wiew of Russia. Russian ambassy even made a formal protest 😂😂😂...
The old man in the beginning, playing an "old instrument" (actually a weapon) is the on called "Kvinnaböske", referring to the village he grew up in. It's his artist name. Famous in the older generation. I don't think anyone non-swede got that one.
will anything before 2003 be on the channel at some point as most is past 2004 but mostly 2010 onwards i do hope so as it shows how eurovision became what it is today just because its old doesnt mean its bad .
You should also try to react/watch the interval acts from the year before. "12 points song" and "eurovision museum" both hilarous, but forgotten because of this masterpiece.
It may sound stupid but I always cry buckets when I watch that clip. I mean, it's just so perfect! That was the best performance in the entire contest. Mans and Petra are gold together. Did you also notice Loreen (or a double for her) flit across the stage ?
If you ever need a break from watching all the contestants, Sweden's opening act for semi final 2 in 2016 is really good too. I think it's called "What is Eurovision" or "That's Eurovision".
You probably didn't catch the grandma with drums because it's an oldie: Zdob Si Zdub - Boonika Bate Toba (Moldova) Live - Eurovision 2005 Unironically i used to love that song (ahh, my teenage neu rock phase...)

I know "reaction" videos are protected under "Fair Use", but not everyone observes that. Did you notice Loreen hammertime-ing it across the stage? It's my favorite part!
