- Cargo pants don't really have to be in neutral colors, right? my 2 versions of the new Largo Cargos by Love Notions are in fun colors! pink & red. The details are lovely and you can make them your own. The fit is super comfortable with an amazing waist facing and a straight leg.

It is a great pattern. I really like your linen ones. I too don't like to double fold the tops of pockets. I do what you do. It's way less bulky.

You look fabulous in whatever you make and wear! I love the pink pair and it really works. I have the Upland Trousers that I really want to try and those are a more dressy. I've been debating on the Largo's and I will probably pick them up eventually when I have more time to fit and sew pants. I think the faced waistband will be a game changer and much more comfortable than a regular waistband. Thank you for your inspiration!

Zippers just take a little extra time but the more you practice, the easier they become. Step by step and slowly you'll get there :)

Lovely Karina! Every top looks marvelous with them. These are so nice and you look great! I’m a very hippy pear shape and never thought I could wear cargo pants but I recently read in a stylist’s site that pears could try them with the side pocket placed lower than the widest part of the hips, so I’m going to try! I’ll bast the pocket on first to see. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are right with the pocket placement. I think a flat pocket is nice too, instead of 3D ones I've seen around :)

That was an unusual pink, it looked fabulous with the pink snake print top. The red ones were really nice too. Thanks for putting up the pattern number for that b&w snake print top, i liked that as well!
The pink linen was initially a "fail" lol because I got it online and the color looked totally different when it arrived.....it grew on me :)

I would like to make a test garment like you advised. But I don't know how to change the pattern to sew it with a center zipper. Could you please explain how to do that? Thank you so much for all of your shared wisdom.
Thank you so much Karina for your fabulous CZcams channel. I have learnt so much from you & now rather than just churning our garments, I take my time and enjoy the process. And yes I even hand baste. I can't decided between the Itch to Stich Upland Trousers and the Love Notions Largo Cargo. My question is more about the fit & not about the differences in pockets.
The upland are more fitted at the waist and hips. They both have wide legs. The drafting is different and they all require specific fitting. The Largo are easier to make because the pockets are simpler
Think I'll go with the Largo Cargo even though the Upland look like they're a lovely pair of trousers. On the line drawings both pants look very similar so thank you for input. I know I'll get a great fit because I can watch your fitting videos to learn how. 😊 Thanks again.

Pattern already purchased and at the printers for the A0 size - did not want to print 78 pages at home! The pants look amazing on you. Thank you for the 'get to the point' sewing /construction tutorial. Very helpful and makes sewing a pair of pants less intimidating. What kind of linen did you use? The pants didn't look wrinkled, which I find to be the case with 100% linen.
The pink are 55% linen and 45% rayon, the red are linen 70% and rayon 30%. They do wrinkle lol. I pressed them to show them on the channel and then filmed the try on footage. They are wrinkled now :)
Yes they wrinkle less than 100% linen.

Could you please share the details of the blouse you’re wearing with the red pants?
When I show my outfits, I put the name of the patterns on the screen... this one is Butterick 6765
I want to make a long denim skirt with front full length buttons. The waist facing should work with that? I don’t like waist bands. I will use your method am I on right track?
You need to account for the height the waistband brings to the skirt and raise the waistline a little and then make a facing for that.

So I’ve just paid for these pants, after I’ve paid I’ve found out they don’t send you a pantern. That’s no good for me I can’t download and I don’t know where to send to get pattern so I can sew them.?
When you look at any pattern on the site, this is the first paragraph you see and it’s even on bold print: “All Love Notions Sewing Patterns are digital downloads, you may print them at home or send to a copy shop. A physical pattern will not be mailed to you”
I suggest you ask in the Facebook support group where you can send the pattern to be printed according to your country/city. I just print at home.
I don’t have printer at home, I will ask but we don’t have any shops near me that you print patterns off
