Apparently it's actually true, but for asians in asian countries. Of course this is mostly based on Asian culture and emphasis on education, 90% of it is I'm sure, but this is kind of interesting: Asian languages have smaller words for numbers, more straightfoward counting systems and fractions, and thus numbers are easier to commit to memory.

Not exactly. I mean to some people, yes, it can be a compliment. But everyone comes to me holding stacks of homework everyday asking if I can do it because I'm supposed to be smart.
