same i even play 1 week in cn server cuz they open before global
better and better? my dude, if wandering an empty desert/map for hours straight for just 480 primos (Also the 3 day TEDIOUS side quests) and grinding artifacts daily for almost 3 years is the definition of better to you, then I don't know what's good anymore. The only thing that's keeps me playing the game is the lore and I sure as hell wanna know what happens to khaenri'ah and celestia in 7.0.
@@saba-rr8dw I have to admit that after Cyberpunk 2077, my standards for a quality product have dropped by a lot.
Now it's just something you can run for 30+ minutes without bugs and without the risk of it killing your computer… and that it's fun to play.
And Genshin exceeds both goals by a long way.
Plus it's completely free, so if it ever bores me I can just drop it without the disappointment of having wasted a lot of money...
@@saba-rr8dwthen just play to see the lore; explore and farm to get primos and artifacts are totally optional things, tho.. at the end, farming is just necessary to complete in a good way the abyss, because the game (especially the main story) has no difficulty

started playing at launch too. I left the game shortly after dragonspine was introduced. I got back in the game last month and I fell in love with it again. Had to run a TON of quests that I was late for, but here I'm, back in the game, main Yae.

I started in 3.1 so I'm not nostalgic of things I haven't experienced on my own. What I'm feeling now is the FOMO and the burnout, but more than anything, some kind of love for this tiny digital world named Teyvat.

@@Ekittz_ciara You will get there eventually, I was once in your shoes a year and a half ago and I managed. Just focus on the main story and world quests first, even if it means skipping the current events because events will always come and you can see the ones you missed on youtube :)

This hit hard… Chongyun was actually the first non-guaranteed character I ever pulled, and I mained him all the way until I got to Inazuma… good times.
(The shogun was my second, but I literally couldn’t level her until later in the game bc of her materials)
i think i got xiangling and then bennett, use these two till today so got lucky, in 1.0 i got diluc and 1.1 got childe

Qiqi was also my first 5 star, she really helped a lot in keeping my team alive when I was struggling doing bosses and domains. Even though she falls off pretty hard in the meta, getting her in my 50 50 never disappoints me but simply reminds me of her usefulness when I needed her.

I started in version 2.1, when Raiden's banner was up. My first though was 'I have to have her!', but got Mona as my first 5 star and Raiden later, when I learned about what primogems was used on and how to get them 😅 Not to mention that I didn't pay much attention to resin capacity 😅 Even so, I get nostalgic when I'm writing on my genshin story on Wattpad and go through the Archon Quests.

I played since launch. At first I don't really like Genshin but it all change when I first step into Liyue. The music in Liyue on afternoon just perfect. This video feels like yesterday

i remember seeing the ads on this game in 2020 and i wanted to try it but i never had enough storage and other issues to install the game at the time and i’ve been waiting ever since to be able to play. finally i’m here and i can play !
Teyvat transported me to a place where imagination was alive, and it inspired me. To get that feeling in a game world is an amazing experience. As time goes on, that new feeling wears off - but the world of Genshin Impact, the music, is extraordinary - and so I keep coming back, picking at the quests a little at a time. I fell behind on the story, and am only now just starting the Chasm. Genshin is special enough to keep a special place which it rightfully earned, even if it isn't my main focus.
I started in 1.5 for Zhongli and fell in love with the game and many characters. No regrets.

Same, I was mesmerized by the characters and the graphics. In that day genshin was running on my phone at max graphics and 45 fps. Now days I can't even run it at the worst graphics. But I have a ps4 now so I can play genshin.
Started at 1.6. Genshin was truly a unique and enjoyable experience and here I am today. It’s really comforting to play and it’s something me and my best friend bond over. I love Genshin even though I have never won a 50/50

Played the game 2 years ago and finished the most latest archon quest and so I left. Now im playing again the new archon quests are surreal. literally gave me goosebumps
I started it a few weeks after release but left it because of school and being busy. I started again about 15 months ago and have 412 log in days! Genshin is still one of the best games I have ever played after 14 years. Im so hyped for Fontaine and hope you all are too! Great video and have fun exploring Teyvat!

Started 1.0 (October 10, 2020), this video is such a nostalgic trip, especially the old inaccessible Dragonspine and the good old F2P team. Coming in to 2022 is when I stopped playing for a year and came back a week ago, This video made me remember how everything looked before.
Even though i don't play genshin anymore this still feel nostalgic how i enter genshin impact world for the first time i feel really thrilled and excited because i saw the great graphic and i love open world type game. This game bring many happy memories for me, When i grinding in the game i feel really stressful but went i took myself to enjoy the game see the beautiful scenery while hearing a relaxing & calming music. I should say i really grateful i play this game i came with a excitement and leave with a good memory.

Because I remember the banners of nilou and nahida lasted a long time and I even ended up getting c1 nilou after wishing for a few days I think.(side rant: my noobie dumbass brain skipped on nahida bcuz I was like what am I gonna do with plant child? 🙂 If I knew dendro was this useful and nahida was so adorable and powerful I would've pulled on her more :) Not that I regret nilou though, she's great)

i scrolled down to the comments when the last clip finished and by the grace of the heavens the outro scared the living shit out of me.
It hasn't even been a long time in the grand scheme of things, but this brings me back. I played this game at launch like many others. I stopped right after finishing the first Golden Apple Archipelago adventure (V1.6) and just before Inazuma (V2.0) released. I remember when everyone was hyped for Ayaka who had only been playable in the beta at that point in time, and she was finally coming in a full-scale update. I was also one of those who were waiting for her since launch, and thankfully I managed to get her before I quit completely.
To this day I haven't opened the game but the world, the characters and of course, the music - they captured me when I was still active. However, I still listen to the OSTs and watch the community make _amazing_ stuff like artworks and animations until now. The game will always have a special place among all the games I've played. I do intend to return to it someday, in the future, just to see how much it's evolved and improved. But for now, I will just appreciate that I'm able experience how the game and it's community continues to grow.

I quit around 3.5, but I just opened the game again recently. I get so nostalgic about things and I honestly wish I could go back in time and play the game for the first time again as a confused new player :’)

My first 5-star is Mona from Beginners Banner, then I got Venti. I dont even know how the pity works before. Iand I didn’t use Mona, i chose to build barbara, because i need a healer, My first Team was Venti, Barabara, Xianlgling and Chongyun. Then I got Childe on his first run, and I lost my first 50/50 on Zhongli’s Banner, I got Diluc. And before I have so many friends and we enjoy the coop so much, and we appreciate each other damage. 5000 is already amazing for us.hahaha but now I play alone :😢

It’s so surreal seeing players who started after 2.0, I started playing at the start of 1.3 and my first character I got was Keqing (mained her until I quit around 3.0). I don’t play genshin anymore because I lost interest but still hold both the frustrating memories and the happy ones. Even though I don’t play anymore, it’s nice just seeing the content people make about it. It brings back nice warm memories.

The very first major event, the Unreconciled Stars, meeting Scaramouche for the first time. This event is lore wise incredibly important and I don't envy the people who didn't experience it. What a throwback... I didn't even graduate high school when Genshin first came out.

Siggh I started at 1.3. still an old player but a lot of these I haven't experienced funnily enough. The one that pains me the most is the Scara event I never experienced for myself.
Though I did know about genshin impact for a month or 2 before actually installing it. I had a bad phone back then so I couldn't install it. Genshin impact is the best game I've ever played💖 I've always adored games with huge maps and where I can just go wherever I want and interact with things or find something interesting. I never had a chance to play those types of games as a child because either they cost money or they could only be played on computer. Genshin is a dream come true.
