      Ah! You’re very observant! Most people probably don’t even notice or think about that type of thing! You should go check out my first video! I didn’t even know how to hold the camera the right way 🤣 I counted today that this is my 21st video. Every video I learn a little more. And get a little better. And more comfortable talking to the camera. I’m definitely working to build a skill set for video editing. My goal is to put out very high quality gardening/farming content. I need a new computer now though. My computer has been struggling to keep up! Anyway, I appreciate your attention to detail! And I’d be tickled if you go watch my first video to compare 🤣 thanks again for watching 🙏

    Question:
    With a backyard garden like yours, what is your watering system and how often do you water?
    If you get a chance, could you do a video on that and your system from when you started gardening to what you are doing now?

      Fantastic video 🔥 I've worked exclusively in operations for small businesses the last 8 yrs and there's so much work that goes into what you're doing. Whether you're working with a small team or alone, growing a large enough portion of quality crops to make a profit to continue to grow your business is challenging, not to mention inventory management of fresh products, sales, customer service, logistics, maintaining good relationships with existing clients, filming, editing, and uploading to YT, etc the list goes on. I spend 22-26 hrs each weekend gardening in the burbs of NJ and though it's a lot of work, it's the best part of my week. It's great to hear how this all got started and how persistent you have to be to grow. I have a feeling your channel is going to blow up in the years to come so best of luck to you growing your crops and business 🙌

    It appears that you grow a 'ton' of produce in your 'back yard' and have developed some clever strategies to make less work of it. (Love the cool bot trailer). I'm curious ... with all the produce you produce how do you enrich your soil / fertilize your crops????

    • @chefsharvestfarm
      @chefsharvestfarm  Před 2 dny +2

      @@MikeV607 thank you 🙏 I use no till methods to grow. I just dump about 3 wheelbarrows of manure based compost on each bed 2-3 times per year. And if I just need a little extra fertilizer instead of compost I’m using the neversink blend which I purchase from seven springs farm supply in Virginia. It’s the best place to get organic amendments, shipping is expensive… but worth it!
