Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
10/10
10
Where is the requiem scene? It's really missing
pefect score 10/10
10. Best sci fi movie plot ever
Rorschach was an honest character from the get go and never tried to hide who he was. He deserved better.
That's the joke
He was a fascist piece of shit, Snyder's depiction of him was nothing like the original source.
Hi hid his identity but he actually thought he was the mask
its exactly what happens with people like him in the real world
No he was a gross, hypocritical and violent prick
That blood splatter in the snow looking like an ink blot is brilliant.
No compromise.
Even in the face of Armageddon.
- Rorschach
I guess the question the movie asks viewers at the climax is whether living by that is worth extinction, or is it better to compromise and lie but survive.
@@BigUrielI would say it's better to lie, since either you let millions of people to die or you let billions to die, if you don't compromise it would be the mot selfish act there is since the damage is already done and the only one that would benefit from the self-righteousness would be you and the people in power making money out of dead bodies.
it is, read up on Alan Turing, Rorschach is meant to be the opposite but equal horror of Ozymandias.
"If you'd cared from the start, none of this would've happened."
Lies again? Ballon d'Or

This is such a masterpiece movie. Does not seem like comic book movie but work of art - like the Dark Knight trilogy. When Rorschach says "...do it..." the first time, goosebumps!

Many people will disagree, but I think this is the best superhero film made in recent decades.
The best, ever. Period!
Nobody will disagree pal, this is a objective truth
Still my favourite super hero movie of all times
Criminally underrated!
And Rorschach is the best character among them! His uncompromising nature and unblinking devotion is so f’cking cool!
Mine too...

@Exo Spellbreak Doomsday clock isn't canon
@Exo Spellbreak They reseted the verse some years ago, Since Batman Metal Doomsday clock Is not canon anymore
@Exo Spellbreak yeah
Yes. Rorschach is like Heisenberg.
Does it matter what is canon? DC reboots things all the time. It's not like a book series where there is canon events. One minute Batman is a human and detective, the next he is giving Darksied a beatdown. Canon means very little in comics the majority of the time.
"suddenly You discover humanity? Convenient."
Ligma balls
I partly get the die-hard graphic novel fans hating on this movie when it was first released, but quite honestly, in retrospect, it's actually a damn good, underrated movie.
Possibly one of the best superhero movies ever made in fact.
I love Rorschach's splatter indicating either:
1. A skull
2. The inkblots of a rorschach test
It looks like my parents fighting
3. My parents arguing.
A man who is absolutely ready to die for the truth
Not even his near-limitless power could triumph over his own hipocrisy and cowardice.
The crappy thing about the situation was that millions were already dead. If he had told everyone what really happened it would have all been for naught. Plus, in the extended story his report got out and Veidt's plot was revealed and what followed was a nuclear war.
It really was a no-win situation.
he had his flaws but i think what he ment with its human nature is that he cant force people into annything lasting change is change that people go through that what they wil accept,in other words the only real change is the one you want to undergo

They justified madness atrocity by rationalising their utter moral and practical failure. This is a movie about the arrogance and ineptitude of heroes who are the Nazis in this scenario.
Such good harmony , ink spot mask , ink spot remains . This is very clever and visually confronting . Good work Watchmen.
Watchmen and The Boys (Series) Will always be at the top of superhero flicks. 🤙
You forgot Umbrella Academy.
@@ronrr2334 Was dead at season Two
Thanks coz I got to say this!!ost underrated movie & underrated scene. It's true that this movie was far ahead of it's generation. Not a movie I've seen darker than this
He can control matter at the molecular level. He could have done anything, saving his life but depriving him of the opportunity to convey the terrible truth to others. He could have put him in a “golden cage,” but instead he brutally exterminated him. A true American.
One of my top favorites
Movies like Watchmen, Unbreakable and so on werre far ahead of their time.
When he first says "Do It" it's like almost pleading, like he wants it. On some level he knows that revealing the truth at this point will only make things worse. But he can't live with it.
I love this movie. Always have, always will.
I didn't know what to expect when i watched Watchmen. It was a real mindfuck, one of the best films for years and for sure NOT the film i expected to see
When Manhattan, who grew up making watches, confronted Rorschach the snow stood still symbolizing time stood still.
such an amazing scene !!
The score playing whilst we witness the conflict within Dr Manhattan before the kill. You could feel his hesitation and knowing that he'll always have regret, but that there's no choice in the matter. They make you see the immense concern in the doc's eyes Brilliant scene!
Great movie, awesome story, insane ending.

One of my favorite, if not the most favorite super hero movie! 💪🏻👍🏻....it just was different!
watchmen is the best action hero movie ever.
Easily the best of it's genre, light years ahead.
As a Watchmen cómic fan, i have to say this scene is definitely 1000x times better than the comic
Here you can see the last time where Dr. Manhattan shows humanity when he don't want to kill Rorschach
And Dan Dreiberg caring about his friend, screaming suffering for his death, getting anger and punching Ozymandias
The comic version is so edgy lol
Idk after reading the comic the film definitely treats its viewers as less intelligent in the movie as it seems a lot more dumbed down than the comic. Films still good though but what do you expect with such excellent source material
@@coolx.no
Jackie was born to play Rorschach!
Best superhero movie by far
Rorschach's moral code is unbendable, not even death.
When Requiem in D from Mozart played, i knew this movie was an 11/10.
what a powerful scene
Uma obra de arte, absolutamente espetacular!
Rorschach ✊💪😭😭😭😭😭😭
Great film
If this scene isn’t the paradox of religion I don’t what is…it’s profound!
What paradox? The one where you prayed but not getting everything you wanted?
Good movie
Watchmen is the most important comic in superhero's comic history. There is not such a thing as "the first super hero", Teseo was a superhero. Hercules was a superhero. Son Goku. They always existed. But Watchmen and the death of Gwen were the single most important moments in S.H. comics.
Jackie Earle Haley deserves more attention imho
one of my favorites, I steel don't understand why it got so much hate
People complain about everything before it’s out, during its theatre run, and a year or two after.
In time everyone respects these kinds of movies.
It’s why everyone hated the old hulk movies but love them now, in 10 years people will look back and be thankful for what we have now

Rorschach to Dr Manhattan :
If you'd cared from the start.. none of this world have happened.....
Yeah poor dr Manhattan
That bully from "A Christmas Story" had a crazy life.

Who the hell is Steve jobs?

Damn.
“Who the fuck is steve jobs?”
“Ligma balls”
☠️
"What's one more body among the foundations??" This lines poses such a scary idea, if one person dies then it's a tragedy, but if 1 million dies It's just a statistic 😢
I hate Dr. Manhattan. He's not god but act like god. With his god-like power, all he could do was just fighting useless war and building useless giant clock while sitting naked on Mars. And the worst thing he had done was killing Rorscach for trying to tell the world the truth...
You might wanna take up the graphic novel.
Yes he is a douche and have a brain of a child 🤣
I love his acting...the way he speaks..I really like him from the start but unfortunately he dies so sad
Never compromise...Not even in the face of Armageddon... Rorschach....
The best scene in the movie
Yeah.
There are guys

They want the

Is there any new features for Dr Manhatten?
It was a clever scene. A scene where "Truth" is the Rorschach test.
freaking Dr. Manhattan has no chill. Kills dude best friend and kiss the same guy´s gf (which she retribute) in front of him in the same day lmao.
and says ligma balls
Super hero movie back in the day:
Dr Manhattan vs Amazo be interesting.
😥
Men this Movie is soo underrated !
Peace is peace isn't it? as long as the world never learns the truth
Then... The press just makes sure it doesn't...
Rosh is right, for a God who only torture without interupting a tragedy.
Manhattan couldve shown anything to everyone involved, but he chose not to
I don't get why he killed him... could have just locked him somewhere until he cooled off... or even taken him to his little trip in the stars..
Manhattan could also change human behavior by threatening the population with total annihilation to adopt a more kind attitude
I think at some point he began to ask himself if it was worth it - if mankind needed an omnipotent tyrant forcing them not to kill each other then maybe they didn't deserve to live.
He also learned from the Vietnam war that even if he means well when takes direct action he may just end up making things worse.
La morte di Rorscack e triste 😭😭😭
This is zack snyder art 🎨
Who the hell is Steve Jobs?

The Watchmen don't deserve Rorschach.
Why is there still no 2nd Movie? lol.
Its very original and more natural.
"It's so sad that Steve Jobs died of ligma."

Dr. Manhattan is the real hero of this movie.
This is one of the only two greatest works of Zack Snyder.
No, it is comic adaptation. Director, yes. Story line, no.
All the Kings horses, and all the kings men. Couldn't put Rorschach back together again....
Imagine Dr. Manhattan’s fart after a big cheddar burgar
That would anhilate litterally everything physical.
He'd fart out a new galaxy probably lmao
Even tho I don't like the movie itself, I like the conflicting ideologies between the truth and peace
Hmm , super heroes, beautiful visuals, potent message, deep plot, i mean whats not to like?
@@olaokolaoksnyders styles doesn’t really work with the watchmen
The only real path to peace is the truth, whole unfiltered truth, otherwise as you see in the world there always will be those who try to expose it and those who are trying to hide it
@albertwesker6153 I'm not usually a fan or Snyder films but Watchmen is a decent adaptation. A lot of what was cut would have heavily confused audiences imo, but tbf still would have been cool.
When just a men say this to god - its is
Hate the blue bloke, so self righteous!
"So sad steve jobs died if ligma"
"Who the hell is steve jobs"
"Ligma balls"
So Dr Manhattan is smart but couldn't understand what Rorschach want. He couldn't even understand the satire.
Not Rorschach, Ozzymandias. This was all a plan from Ozzymandias from the start. Manhattan, Rorschach and the rest were just pawns in his game, and the biggest loser was Rorschach. And before it is said that Rorschach won at the end, no, he didn't. The World still held up Ozzymandias as the hero, and his plot then was discovered to have failed because a whole bunch of people died after. That was what was not shown here on this film.
In the book, Night Owl didn't care that Rorschach died. Probably because Alan Moore hated the character.
Moore is an idiot. Great at creating characters, terrible at developing them.
I just think dr Manhattan’s voice should have been a god like voice y’all agree?
I think that would've made him feel too unhuman
"Who the hell is Steve Jobs."
Rorschach had so many flaws, but he stuck to his principles regardless....even in the face of Armageddon.
A good superhero movie, wow, don't see them anymore, not now Disney and DC have f*cking ruined them!
Who is on top of Dr Manhatten's power

All those Zack Synder haters. Yes, he can be awful, but he can be awesome too on occasions.
The blue god could have just confined Rorschach on the Moon or something. Why kill him?
