- Ripped from the GamesMaster 10th Anniversary DVD from the May 2003 issue of GamesMaster magazine. This is the final episode of the TV show of the same name, first broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK on 3 February 1998.
Basically a "best of" episode. Notable for including clips of the Dave Perry Super Mario 64 incident. - Hry
Dominic Diamond.... Absolute legend 👏
Some of the innuendo they got away with on this show was just brilliant!! 😂 😂
😂🎉
In the 90's this and Eurotrash were youtube before youtube
Amen. Don't forget Vidz, too! Unstoppable morose scottish & livewire welsh combo. Moviedrome kicked ass, too. As did A & J.
YAER 2023 and still thinking off the show
One of the greatest shows ever. You can genuinely tell how gutted Dom is at the end.
It's coming back
Or just worn out, it was partly his decision to end it tbh
@@trevornfluff3277 but Dom is not coming back

@@trevornfluff3277 where is it then
Loved it, waiting for the cheats section hoping there was some for a game you owned
Still an incredible show to this day. Way ahead of its time.
Love it
It's actually very of its time. The 90's was more future looking and optimistic, whilst not ignoring its present than society is nowadays.
And just like that, I was transported back to my childhood. 😢
Jesus the final speech at 23:00 made me cry. You made my childhood and thus I will forever carry you into my adulthood. RIP Gamesmaster 😢
Massive thanks for the upload Tom, was a really good watch.
Some of the stuff they said back then 😄 crazy how times have changed
It was a show of contradictions. Aimed at a younger audience but scattered with adult innuendo, self indulgent but gave us what we wanted and to be honest a bit crap but inexplicably very good. They don't make them like this anymore.
This always sticks out in my mind as one of the best final episodes of a show, its nostalgic, funny but still looks inward and offers you to do so as well
"large british belly" -- while sporting the sort of gut that is considered fairly trim by today's standards.

ending is so sad
21:19 There were so many funny moments on the show, but I always remember this part. It’s just so random and I love Dominik’s genuine surprise and laughter. Also, the year 2000. 😅
End of an era!
I'm glad this is coming back. 👍
Amazing thanks 4 sharing love it
with games as big as they are today, I'm surprised there is not a bad influence or games master.
Back in the day these shows before the internet was where you got a lot of info from.
It's because of the downfall of television broadcasting and how there's a whole generation around now that don't even watch television as everything is done on phones and computer screens. TV broadcasters won't take risks. Even back in the day shows about games went exactly ten a penny. There was around half a dozen of them throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Quite a shockingly low output all things considered.
Best gaming show ever made there will never be anything like it again
it’s coming back to e4 on the 24th
@@turbomario but won’t be as good
@@ianbarrett4166 Episodes 2 and 3 were pretty good even though the games featured weren't my thing but episode 1 of the new Gamesmaster should be avoided as it was lefty woke central and probably put a lot of people off from watching the other episodes.
@@gunsharck Whatever way you look at it, the reboot seems over, and hardly surprising. Heard some report about how television production jobs are disappearing and how the woke lot cant get further work. It's because they have helped ruin the industry and hardly anyone wants to watch their shite, so less commissions and opportunities as a result. They reap what they sow. I have no sympathy for them.
Rip Patrick Moore
That Mario 64 lad will go down as the biggest loser in video game history lol, never gets old haha.
Dave Perry!🙏🏻😂
@@tetsuoshima7385 - aye! Find it hilarious in another video he stated he was "trolled for 20 years", and (in 2018) still believed it was fixed 😂 Always be funny that.
@@techkingonline 😂👍🏻
he was 100% trying to cheat and jump down to the lower level but he jumped too soon and lost the slide momentum. bombshell!
I really enjoyed that. Always thought Dominik was a great presenter too. He was engaging, witty and made it look easy. It's a pity he seemed to disappear after Gamesmaster
He moved to Canada and hosts radio shows over here
I've just noticed, at 1:49 the guy in the RoboCop outfit has the legs on backwards. No wonder it was so hard for him to walk in!
Who remembers gamesville
I love the Wigfield wedding so much!
I played Dominik Diamond at street fighter 2 down the strathclyde retail park back in the day and he used the Blanka cheat. Done me like a kipper and he knows it. i was Dhalsim as a wee guy
I didn’t appreciate Zoe Ball in the 90’s. How blind I was. She is stunning!
23:37 RIP Sir Patrick Moore.
Classic show, which E4 had resurrected with Trevor McDonald as the games master. Respect to Dom and Patrick
& what a pile of shit that turned out to be, pissing on the grave & soiling the memory of what was indeed a great show... Some things in life are best left in the past, & Gamesmaster is one of those things, a show of its time that fitted perfectly & reflected what & how the games industry was evolving during the 90's....
R.I.P Gamesmaster 1992-1998
R.I.P Sir Patrick Moore 1923 - 2012
@@hyperrealisticpixeldeath408Strangely enough the modern remake of Gamesmaster was reflecting today's woke zeitgeist. That's why it was rubbish. Episodes 2 and 3 were better than the car crash that was episode 1 though.
And now its rises from the ashes.
11:42 - "It slipped inside her" lmao
Lawnmower Man 2! What a treat.

Amazing quality picture! Got any more?
Sadly not. The only reason I have this one is that I just happen to have kept the DVD.
@@MrTomFTW There was a DVD??
@@freddydingo On the cover of the GamesMaster magazine, many years ago.
@@MrTomFTW Great piece of memorabilia! I wonder why they aren’t they repeating GM on Challenge or something? Surely there’s a market, especially with the new series starting.
@@freddydingo they did for a bit. They showed series 1 and maybe a bit of 2 before saying it wasn't getting enough viewing figures
Like the channel that showed 30 years old Eps of take your pick or whatever else cares about viewing figures
Do I look like I'm wearing a t-shirt that says "I care"? Hahaha
This was the best, The new version is absolute pants
Aw, I've been enjoying it a lot actually.

The gamesmaster final episode in 60fps?
Broadcast TV runs at 24fps, so you won't find a 60fps source. Not a proper one anyway. I think I encoded this at either 24 or 30fps. I can't remember.
@@MrTomFTW So sick of the 'entitled' 60FPS mind set. People act like anything less gaming wise is the worse thing ever or something. Get sick and tired of hearing it!
LOL at 17:53.
Fantastic that. I'd avoid the new one
It was always a pretty terrible show imo, even back in the day when I was a kid, but I still watched many episodes.
not like they didn't know exactly what they were doing ;-)
I love how much of a beautifully politically incorrect mushroom trip of a childhood I experienced in the 90’s 🥲
People who grew up in the 90s are the last generation who knew things for what they are and were. Everyone from around 2005 onwards seems to be a gobshite that's firmly on the autism spectrum with knowledge at their fingertips but ironically seem to know less and less than any generation in the history of human kind.
