Definitely the best video I’ve seen regarding cooking curries. No ego trips, no swearing ,no trying to be funny. And this lady makes my curries taste beautiful.
Just found this today 18/12/23. Cannot believe its 12 years old. Best cooking video I have ever seen. No silly music or zooming in and out, just excellent, practical teaching, thoroughly explaining not just the how's but also the why's. Loved the no nonsense approach to curries. Just googled Nisha and found she has done a lot more videos so will be watching them.
I love how your videos are more about giving people the knowledge to create their own curries rather than just providing a recipe for people to follow blindly. I've made several different curries based on this video and all of them have been lovely.
I'm tinned fish and frozen veg guy, but what I'm actually thinking is this - are you half as beautiful eleven years after this video was posted ? Back then, you'd have skated the Miss Universe Contest.
This was my second attempt at one of your recipes and ……to my amazement ….. it tasted sensational. I’m almost at a point where I might invite some friends over to eat one of my meals - I never thought that was ever going to be a possibility. Thank you Nisha 👍
Now I am inspired. I love Chicken curry. I'm off to the supermarket in a moment. I had my first Indian Curry at 8 years old. It was extremely hot for me but too delicious to put down. At 10 years old, on a London trip, I had a craving for a real Indian Curry and found an Indian restaurant where the owner wore a turban. It was 1974 and I was probably the first white kid ever to have walked into an Indian restaurant in London. The owner warned me that it was going to be hot but I wasn't worried. I said nothing - I wanted the genuine article. And I was satisfied.
Not just a great cook, Nisha is also A natural teacher, a great presenter and a world-class communicator. Aren't we lucky to have access to her artistry!
Watch the full video before commenting. Very nice to share with my dear. Big thumbs up from pakistan. Dua hai Allah Ta'ala aap ko duniya aur akhirat ki kamyabi Ataa farmaye. Aameen. Stay blessed and see you around soon on our side
Thanks for watching-yes you can use yoghurt and coconut together but you cannot use smoked paprika anywhere in Indian food.At a push you could use non smoked sweet paprika but you can happily leave the chili out altogether. That is not a problem
Wow you really helped me, I just made the perfect (for me) chicken curry and feeling very empowered now. I'd been going wrong by not letting the spices cook in the oil properly and not adding ginger. Delighted thank you.
Nisha is the only chef that tells you how to create many Indian dishes from one common compilation of base ingredients by adding certain vegetables or dairy products🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks, this is the most helpful video/recipe that I have found (most everything else wanted me to start out with spices that I don't have). The explainations (some in the comments section) of how we can adjust it to our tastes has helped me out.

As a White American, I would just like to say, Aap Sundar Hai!

You made everyone a cook. Nice job. I thought about this for a long time and you did it in 5 mins
