My pleasure! took me long enough to get around to it. I had to special order a bigger cribbage board cause they are impossible to find where i live.

I'm surprised to see you deal the cards counterclockwise!?

Enjoyed the video but shouldnt the better discard for the 77721 hand been a 2? Sorry, I am new to cribbage and count scores every where I see them. I find myself scoring license plates when stuck in traffic.

You know you are probably right and I didn't even see that when I was making the hand. I was just framing another shot to show how it works and wasn't even looking. Well hopefully a 6 gets cut if I kept the two. good eyes. When i am in vegas, every card game I play I am always quoting cribbage scores. :-)

@@JMNCGames Definitely should have tossed the 2. With the ace in hand the would be three sets of fifteen -two. That is 3 sets of 7-7-1 + 6 for the triplet (which is really 3 pairs for a total of 12 points. Keeping the 2 and discarding the ace gives you only 6 in hand.

We always turn played cards face down once a player pegs their GO. Is there a rule about this or just a choice when playing? We felt seeing all the cards faceup just caused confusing especially when playing with 4 players.

Can you play the game with 3 teams of 2 (6 players total) since there is three tracks? I saw once on a forum its possible, but it didn't explain how ?

I haven't heard of that before. Good question. I would have to consult the cribbage masters who taught myself to play.

I have a question. When counting your hand at the end does each player explain how he arrived at his number? What prevents cheating?

Sorry to take so long to reply. You should always count your points outloud infront of your opponent. If they catch that you have missed something, they can steal those points from you. If you are able to fool them with your counting, well that is their bad for not being able to count as well as you. Thanks for watching.

You always add points one player at a time starting with the player to the left of the dealer and going around. Players should count their score out loud to ensure no one is cheating.

You had 7772A and discarded the A. Rookie move. Also, dealing counterclockwise?

wow. you are good. the choices made were not really done in an actual game. So it was just to show the way the game is played, not what are the best choices to make when choosing what card goes to the crib. Perhaps you should do one on crib strategies :-) As for the counterclockwise. I am left handed, so it is something I have always done in any game i deal. Thanks for watching.
