@@mr_confuse They literally complained that it was hard finding ways to milk money out of Squad. This is also after saying they would never go the micro transaction route and then they admitted they said this and half assed an apology about maybe feeling bad or something about going back on their word. Bodes well for squad I'm sure.
@@burner8959 it’s because tencent (aka the stupid Chinese monopoly) bought a majority stake in OWI leading them to force the devs to monetize the game and milk as much money out of it as possible before running it into the ground

Post Scriptum is a niche within a niche but as someone who has been playing it for four years now, its still a gem of a game despite the issues.

I feel like a lot of WWII games either don't have a lot of weapons or takes some prototypes, when you have so much weapons rarely seen in games like MP28, Lancaster gun, Reising machine pistol, Baretta etc. you could also take stuff from end of WWI its was normal for countries to use the most outdated weapons in times of need
A lot of the weapons in the game are from WW1, especially with the French faction who even still have AT rifles. From what I can tell you the MP28 is in the game

I I didn’t know about the team getting laid off and that makes me even more pissed off. this game it’s such a success and the people who make mods make it even more of a success. There has never been a World War II game that included Greek soldiers that I have known of, The fact that they went into the effort to include diversity into World War II is something that I consider beautiful and a testament to the people that fought, Shame on the developers for doing this crime by not expanding the game like the people who do mods do. Thank you NANO for showing gameplay and keeping this game relevant.
Not only did the team that made post scriptum get laid off but the publishers new CEO came from a mobile game dev background. Karmakut has a recent video talking about how Squad and all of OWI's games are either underdeveloped DOA or just mismanaged

Tbh this game is not really successful at all, the players number decline so quick that it only got a very small player base after launch, if you are not living in NA or EU then good luck finding a server with people
11:30 truly is a wholesome song. You can look up the "Westerwaldlied" on YT. Its a Wehrmacht song refering to a certain region in Germany with woods and hills/small mountains.

its a shame really because of the faction that youtube doesn't like us naming, regular German soldiers get a bad rap. I know there is that whole thing of regular soldiers were not saints either and also did a lot of terrible things but some were either already in the army or joined not knowing what was to come and some were forced. But the problem is everyone thinks the entire army culture was just N-ism. End of the day they were still people and soldiers like every other army in the world they were just on the wrong side. But now people assume if its ww2 German it MUST be a N.
