  • Hi! I'm Yvo Staudt. When I was studying classical music in Italy, I created my own mechanical watch. By then, it was never my intention to start a company. But back in The Netherlands, people asked me if they could buy my creation. Since then, I (and our team!) am building my own watch brand successful internationally in retail. A super cool entrepreneurial adventure!
Today I visited the atelier of one of the very few people in the world that knows how to handle a rose engine to create a Guilloche. Jochen told me how he fell in love with this technique, the history of it and how it works. It's so amazing to see the passion of this craftsman, the level of detail is amazing. I even had a try myself on the rose engine.
I'm about to introduce my newest timepiece: the Staudt Guilloche Chronograph. This watch is a masterpiece. With a solid silver hand Guilloche dial, made on the rose engine. The case is made from solid 18 ct. gold and it's limited to only 50 pieces. Link: www.staudt-twenthe.com/guillo...
