Why?
I was kind of bored with hunting cotd, so i started goofing around, did a fragile run on this map, and eventually gave this a go. Spent about an hour on March 10 hunting this reverse run, but cheating and getting the last checkpoint BEFORE crossing the finish line. Then an hour on March 11 finding the successful cut & performing it. I saw a video (probably Wirtual, mb Scrapie) doing campaign maps from Finish to Start, so that's what gave me the idea.
Editing:
Editing took about 2.5 - 3 hours. No script. But I did a lot of takes. On March 10, I recorded live attempts like 5 times, about 10-15 minutes each. On March 11, I did a single take of the audio explanation after I had completed editing, and discarded all my footage from March 10th.
Rules:
- You must cross the finish line before collecting any checkpoints
- You must collect checkpoints in reverse order
- You must pass through the start after collecting all checkpoints
- You must cross the finish line again after collecting all checkpoints & the start
- You must not double-back through checkpoints you've already collected
- Respawns are painful, but allowed.
Note:
The 'Scorched by zentrian ft kcedus' in the bottom-left of the thumbnail was cut from the photo on tmx, without permission. If I receive complaints, particularly from one of the map makers, I'll gladly update the thumbnail without that particular edit. I wanted to credit them in the thumbnail, and I thought this would be a good way to do it.

Notes:
- When I say "checkpoint 4" I meant cp 6.
- I should have re-done the audio for the last minute or two, bc I was commentating a little behind the pace of the edits. But I got tired of editing, so I just left it. I would have never finished the video if I tried to make it perfect.
- I'm not really trying to be a CZcamsr. I just had a lot of fun doing this reverse-run, so I was excited to share. Also, I do some local journalism, and it might be nice to develop my video editing skills and do video journalism.
- I sadly am a human and not a real bear.

Some of these moves are clean, but i can see a lot of room for improv. I think it's hilarious, and i never thought to reverse it; what a terrifying track when you flip it

Yeah, it could be a much better run! I think I could get my drive from the start to the finish down to 1 minute with better driving and a different line for skipping the last checkpoint. And I think I could get the reverse run close to one minute. Idk if a sub 3m is possible, but under 3:30 should be.

Found a new setup for skipping the last cp, where I don't have to turn around and backup. That got me a 1:06 for the first leg. 2:48 to run through all the checkpoints. And a good last leg, had me on pace for a 3:50 or faster. But that was copium timer with lots of respawns, and some bad driving. 3:30 is almost certainly possible. 3:00 might be.
EDIT: Got a 1:22 copium for collecting all CPs, still with multiple slowdowns. I think sub-3 is theoretically possible, but too much skill for me, plus some "luck" in a couple spots.
