i was gonna say the same thing. i really enjoyed this map and thought it was really fitting for the rally car. they did a good job of making it feel somewhat realistic while keeping the usual trackmania quirks

I find it ironic that Nadeo have gone through leaps and bounds to basically kill ice and bobsleigh because certain steering percentages were un obtainable for some and then just threw caution to the wind with these anniversary updates. If the game just went on without the ice patches, eventually everyone would've been able to play Midori on an even playing field minus keyboad players.
The reason for the discrepancy is almost certainly that there was more than one party responsible for each decision. The designers had an idea about what to do with ice and then the directors said "we need to bring back snow and rally!"
TMNF had a bunch of endurance maps that were in the 3-5 minute range like this, which I always felt was missing from TM2020. Glad to see it return here

A prime factor of real-life Rallying is that they're often very long, and instead of getting every little corner perfectly, it is about consistency, about forgiving yourself little mistakes and keeping it going until the end. It is a different kind of challenge, but still rewarding nonetheless. Good job getting the AT!

this is probably one of the best tracks in the campaign, Tona put so much effort into all of them but this specific map brings back the TMUF black maps feeling :)
If you're gripping the flight stick hard enough that your hand gets tense like that, it's probably better to not use a flight stick. That just looks like some sort of hand injury waiting to happen.
Rally skips? Of course, rally is the most shortcuttable environment of TMU due to the car's great abilities at driving on grass and penalty surfaces, and the open nature of the blockset.
Track menia really needs more parts where you are forced to use your breaks to make corners and without it being used as a way to gain more speed or initiate drifts so the only way to get a better time is to hit the breaks more efficiently rather then pushing the acceleration at every opportunity. Like how it is in any other racing game.
What you said about consistency is interesting. Needing to learn the whole track is harder, but because there are more points of failure, you are still able to get a competitive run with a lower successful strat %. On a 10 second track, to get WR you need perfect strat success. On a 3 1/3 minute snake like this, 92% like you said. In something like a 6 hour GTAV speedrun, you might still be able to WR with a strat success rate of 80%.

France, it's complicated for kisses, depending where you are, it's 3 in the south, 4 in the center, one in Belgium and the west tip of britain, and 2 in the rest. Though 1 kiss is used for goodbyes. Also left cheek first in the south, if you mess up you risk an awkward kiss on the lips.
I'm actually surprised so much people are liking this seeing the comments here. Usually it's "oh I dislike it because it's not the same exact type of map or car I played for last X years blah blah", but it's nice that they introduced something new and people don't immediately dismiss it.
as a casual player i havent played trackmainia since the new cars came out because just about every map now had them and i find it to difficult to learn a whole new way of driving just for me to have to do it all again and not enjoy the game. i wish the stadium car was the only car in this game. i also understand that a lot of people enjoy these cars but i simply think it is too difficult for newer playes to learn and enjoy the game.

as someone who has touched Trackmania for maybe an hour, why is it acceptable to use a flight stick which gives a clear advantage over a keyboard but not to set up his keyboard like he did that one time that caused all that controversy.
Because a flight stick means you have to try and get the perfect steering value with precision and the controversy was when he made a macro for a certain steering value and there was no precision involved. He pressed a button and then he got exactly 34% steering. Even on a flight stick holding 34% percent is very very Inconsistent. Hope this helps!

Hello, Have you tried an xbox elite controller? You can configure the joystick separately and has different sensibilities, probably more comfortable too ;)
The 3 kisses: Definitely NOT Italy. But maybe 1 or 2 (never 3) with close friends or family members. Some arabic countries do the 3 kisses, like Lebanon (i have some relatives there).
The Dutch do three kisses on the cheek. Although it's becoming less common. And guys among each other just shake hands, good friends add a shoulder pat or a hug.

I've had a dream with Wirtual recently. And in it Wirutal has Windows 7 running on his PC.
I know its hard, but try not to grip the stick, but just lightly hold it, fine adjustments are harder when you're muscles are tensed up.
