Great job! Never really rebuilt them by myself. Did it with a friend.. he always takes both halves apart on many brembos and akebonos, probably for painting as well.
Actually, re-watching this, your old rotors were installed on the wrong sides too. If you’re tracking the car and compromising airflow through the rotors, excessively hot rotors could be why your dust boots were so baked.
Invest in a Quick Lathe. You can turn those rotors on the vehicle. The caliper piston boots and seals are cheap. $33.00 per set. You can hone any bores that are sticking.
Appreciate the video. I’m actually needing to do this on my Lexus f sport with 6 piston brembo calipers. Is it possible to reuse the pistons? as I’ve only 40k miles on the car. Great vid. Thanks!
any tips for putting the calipers back on and keeping air out of the system? or for stopping the brake fluid from draining while you're working on the caliper? my boots are shot ... an annoying task on a vehicle meant for track days... thanks!
Why would they not fit? It’s because of the different placement of the hose, being on top of the caliper instead of the middle? Or is it a completly different break hose?

Good job sir
Thank you!
Did u dip the new rubber seals in brake fluid?? 😳
9:30 you have the right rotor installed on the left side. These are directional rotors and won't cool properly if installed backwards.

Search for Flexible Hose Line Clamp Pliers be careful where you clamp them.
Dang those were destroyed. Great work!
Definitely time to rebuild!
Nice job. I need to do mine😜
Thanks! I didn’t realize they could get this bad, probably should check yours!
On your other video did you have to use a different brake line for upgraded calipers if so what's the part#
I used the 1LE brake hose, the 4 piston brake caliper hose will not fit the 6 pistons

What did you do with old rotors??
