Man how cool would it be to get Thabo Mbeki during all of this, would be an interesting chat!
Loving this analysis!
I am thinking the same thing!!!
Xx@@sefahanetaole2412
Yes!
Thwy sold their own people out to slavery many years ago... Fools!! How is this diffenrent today?
was thinking the same thing
Dr Mpofu Walsh such a well structed analysis , please bring us Thabo Mbheki
GOOD POINTS RAISED . ALSO NICE TO SEE THE
YOUTH OF OUR COUNTRY LEADING THE WAY.
You are a good analyst Dr Mpofu. The problem with the ANC members is , they love the party more than the country.
ANC has never took the best interest of South Africa. They protect each other for their own best interest. We must speak our truth, we have less to lose than what we have already lost.
So true.
Its not even âour truthâ, it is the universal truth, anyone who denies it is a liar.
And EFF have the same mentality. Only DA cab save us. Critics of DA say they are white but their proof of low unemployment and lower corruption in their municipalities is the 9nly thing that counts
Indeed ANC must be voted out come 2024
True, Mr Mabizela that's an honest fact,
Am inspired to see young and sober people engaging in meaningful engagements. Wish you the best
Mbeki hit the nail spot on the head. The current anc government doesnt accept accountability and think they can get away with everything. At least Mbeki is taking on the corruption and phala phala matter. He has the guts to speak out about the state of affairs of the current government. He clearly sees how the country has been ruined. Ramaphosa should resign or be removed as president.
Even if Rama can resign is there anyone better in that party?? Its not the current prez but the whole party should take a back sit now, it's time for Sum1 new
@@ndwekazim4881 i totally agree with you. Another political party must be voted in who has the know how to take our country forward
Thx for an excellent ,well prepared presentation. It's a pity the ruling party cannot be forced to comment on these serious matters that they think if they keep quite it will go away.
Very good conversation... On Eskom... just last week President Ramaphosa simply said he is not interested in investigating criminal corruption and the involvement of certain Ministers in the Eskom crime. That my dear South Africa that is a clear warning of how badly we need change... major change and a power shift away from the Anc are required to save South Africa.
Well done young one. You are doing a fantastic jobâ€â€â€!
I appreciate your perspective and your making time to share with us.
I have been waiting for this type of video for weeks.
I have been very interested in the interviews but I have been looking for more of these.
Please keep them coming
Questioning ruling party on how they respond to alleged wrongdoing is important for many reasons. One reason is the matter of credibility inside and outside the country. The governing partyâs credibility is in question and this affects stability and investment. Poverty cannot be uprooted without significant investment. Thanks for the analysis. We need more voices from the future leaders of this country.
Thank you for this analysis..đ€đœđ€đŸ if SAcans in general were aware of the rules and laws governing our parliament and it's workings and how government should work, these issues like phala phala would be serious enough to warrant serious demand of action by the public. Once again the issue of proportional representation and ANC self preservation are letting us down. Ministers and cabinet members do not take their oath of office seriously, once it is done and ceremony is finished they worry about their stomachs and how to keep them full at the expense of the rest of us. They were threatened to tow the party line over serving the constitution and country to which they swear allegiance or at least say they will serve. In my mind this is actually treasonous. We need serious political education in this country more along the lines of how a government should function, what are the responsibilities of parliament and it's ad hoc committees..and what are the responsibilities of parties in parliament and especially ones that are the helm. We are held ransom by an inept cabal of pensioners who are basically singing for their bread, earning high salaries and perks that the average SAcan can only dream about. If after the next election ANC is still majority in government, then I'm afraid it's the end of SA.
Mr Gxamza - Well written indeed. However to avoid the outcome you foresee, it is incumbent on every thinking SAcan to become a political activist and go out to mobilize the eligible voters to register, and when that's done to ensure they vote for the change SA so desperately needs
So very eloquently and sensibly said. My concern is who on earth do we vote for next year? The various governments over the centuries have created such a deep divide between the citizens of this country, that we don't know how to stand together. It's heartbreaking because, South Africans are essentially good people and we all want the same thing. I truly hope we can come together next year and vote in a government who is for the people.
@@louiseupton1501 thank you..I share your sentiments as well.
Pls bring us Thabo Mbeki.
Great podcast keep speaking for the South Africa people, for fairness and equality
This was superb! Keep up the good work! The country needs more of this. Thanks once again.
I am enjoying your shows my brother keep it up

Loving it â€. Thank you Dr đ
Wow thanks for the great feedback on this video. We will be sure to make more analysis videos going forward. This is about to be our fastest video to 100K views. đđđœ
Dr Sizwe, thank you for this fantastic, honest and open discussion! You have put all the cards on the table for us to understand exactly what is going on... we were not well informed about ex president Mbeki's letter to the deputy president. Thank you and blessingsđđŻđ
Hi Sizwe yes bro you're right the nation needs to know, we want to know and must be held accountable đĄ
Perfect analysis, we need such confrontational conversation .. or we will suffer in silence.. it is wrong. good one as alwaysđđŒ.
Wow what an incredible informative analysis, keep up the good work
Great analysis Dr Sizwe

"...lining their pockets with your darkness..."đŻ
Intelligence and knowledge is what we as South Africans need to ingest from Sizwe. Thank you.
Thanx Sizwe for your honest opinion, I love your work man.đđ
South Africa's democracy has never been tested and personally I will believe in this thing soon political power change hands via a ballot đłïž.
This was brilliant. I loved this segment.
đđœ
Excellent analysis and chat ! đ Well done and thank you for enlightening us...keep up the good work ! đ
In full agreement to getting President Thabo Mbeki as a guest here. I have a feeling that he needs a platform to speak in person about his strong stance on the Phala Phala matter!
Great analysis Doc.đđđđđ
Excellent analysis! Thank you!
It's not only phala phala.there is a bank statements issue, there is issue of minutes of deployment committee.there is issue of marikana, bosasa 500000 etc.this is clearly a criminal president
First time watching. This was brilliant. But I feel these things are below our politicians. Not sure if they know or even care for the problems South Africa faces.
The ANC has typically not been keen on accountability for some time now. What we are witnessing today is just an escalation of the small murders they have been running away with for years.
I remember very well i Rand ya yiyi R7 kwi dollar during Thabo Mbekis period damnâŠâŠ we are doomed shme nd itâs scary
It's a pity that the ANC is delusional. They think they will be able to cling to power after the next year's elections. They continue to damage their already tarnished image. They seem not to bother. We will wait and see.
Great analysis! We need to hear more of your own voice.
Thank you Dr Mpofu thought provoking and insightful as always. My view on what the ANC does and not do show us that the are not aligned with our Constitution which begs the question when will we as South Africans hold them to accountable?
Glad I found you, excellent analysis! All weâre interested in is the truth and accountability
You have captured it very well, the ANC is a demon that we seriously should get rid of. Your program is really informative.
President Mbeki would be an interesting guest especially at this time!!!!
Definitely!
Great format and its really good to have your insightful analysis.
Fantastic analysis by the reporter. Excellent staff. â€â€
Keep up the good work S P
Thank you Dr. Sizwe. This served as a motivation for me to start reading the letter.. I have since downloaded but never had to read itđ
Great analysis Dr
Beautiful open minded analysis
It was very good to listen to a person with some common sense...tnx
The letter from Thabo Mbeki to Paul Mashatile has certainly caused a stir and is likely to have far-reaching implications. It is clear that the scandal of Phala Phala is far from over, and this letter could well prove to be a game changer. It will be interesting to see how this affects the investigations and those involved, as well as how it could potentially shape the future of Eskom and the ANC politics. This is certainly a development to keep an eye on.
I absolutely loved this analysis. Your video essays are bound to be fire because you are really good with structure as well as substance. This definitely helped me organise my thoughts.
Absolutely loving this analysis format.
We need more people to start let the ANC knows that there dishonesty are creeping up on them
I missed this part of the show. Your analysis is enlightening, as always.
Thanks for the feedback, Obakeng. You have been riding with us for a long time now! đđœ
It wasn't the ANC who held Zuma accountable, it was the Con court. The ANC won't hold anyone in their kraal accountable because they all corrupt
Good point.
And that con Court is owned by hypocrites ramaphosa, thuli madonsela and judge zondo to silence Zuma, we know who is controlling SA economy and resources hence Zuma is hated and useless ramaphosa is loved, SA citizens have a task on their hands to decide whether SA childrens will remain drug addicts and prostitutes, then illegal immigrants enjoy our blood and sweat because of ANC EFF and DA criminals
South African Citizens ignored Former President Thabo Mbeki because That's how ANC works . during Thabo Mbeki majority of the the ANC did the same thing blocked Arms Deal investigation. Today the same person wants the form of accountability he was defended to to be exercised to another president?
South African Citizens will raise their own voice next year cz People are pushing political agendas for their own benefits
This generalization is misleading
Please bring Thabo Mbeki on the show!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this analysis format⊠please do more? Iâm loving this channel you have no idea how much. Keep up the good work
Love the analysis. Would love you to have debate between parties and the policies they are selling voters , not just a single party Representative answering questions.
Hey Sizwe can't you get people like Frans Cronje;Dawie Roodt and John Endres (the CEO of the IRR) on your channel
Thanks I think thatâs actually a great idea. Was thinking of reaching out to Frans Cronje as have been quite interested by his polling.
LOVED this sane, down-to-Earth analysis... We need more! đđœ
Great analysis. Great platform!
đđœđđœ
South Africa is heading towards becoming the next Zimbabwe... too much corruption and deceit among politicians... they want to get rich quickly..
It's sad to see such a beautiful country going down
thanx Sizwe for pealing our eyes. if all the other party including the ANC cabinet can stop fighting during the parliament and use the right channel to ask our president about such huge crimes we will get there. we cannot fix wrong with wrong,
I had to Subscribe, keep up the good work, will wait for Mbeki one,
Profound analysis đ
Congratulations for 50k subs and your new show at SABC đđâ€
Powerful analysis as always Dr Mpofu. In as much as the Thabo Bester issues was an important one, I think the media machinery (wittingly or unwittingly) played its part in reducing public scrutiny on the outcomes of the meeting that former President Thabo Mbeki had with the ANC's top six. I wouldâve liked to know as well the details of what exactly transpired in that meeting, but if your analysis is anything to go by, it would seem to me that he told them their sins (i.e. double standards and inaction when it comes to holding Ramadollar to account). It is very interesting to note that the so called ANCâs integrity committee has not taken any action on Ramadollar for bringing the organization into disrepute (double there again).
Love this segment!đ
As always very informative Contentâïž
The majority of 57% that we gave Anc in 2019 elections has come back to haunt as voters. The defence of Pres. Ramaphosa in Parly by the Anc mojority for Phala-Phala saga will destroy Anc in 2024 polls. People are not fools they know what is wrong in Phala-Phala and in Eskom. Former Pres. Mbheki should be taken serious by the ruling party otherwise this country is being destroyed by the same Anc that we voted into power. Come 2024!
All the people that have continually voted for the ANC these past 30years are guilty as their corrupt leaders .
Brilliant delivery by a highly coordinated mind translated into elequence and appeal to high and common level mind. Thank you
đđœđđœđđœ
Sending Love and respect fom Zimbabwe. I like how you conceptualise and analyse issues. You should seriously consider teaching at a University.
Part of the reason SA "worked" during the Mbeki era was that they ignored the costs of doing maintenance and instead put the money into short term boosting of social structures.
It takes a long time from when the ball is dropped to when 8t hits the ground.
The rot in Eskom started in 1998 when Eskom management and engineers warned things had to be done. All pressidents from Mandela onwards ignored them.
But yes, it was better then. At least the money was doing something good.
ANC a big problem is,, they put them first SA second. Can the SAns elected ANC and ANC becomes the first how can that happened? No no no it can't.
Can we have a father and son conversation invite Our very Advocate Dali
I think they once had one in this platform. I may be wrong.
They had that father and son conversation
I am glad SAs are beginning to see
They ALL have skeletons in their closet - if one falls - they will pull everybody under.
Now Mbeki wakes up đ
Thank you, you right Mbeki was our last president. This praise of Zuma is nauseating given he is the master of the destruction of SA and then Mr Not interested in being a President comes along.
No I think you don't know why Zuma is being painted with a filthy brush, our resources is the main part, there are handlers behind all this propaganda towards Zuma, ask yourself why SA citizens are being neglected in favor of illegal immigrants, why SA is governed by NGOs whilst ramaphosa is head of state, why SA citizens is being held hostage whenever we complain, soldiers and police deployed immediately but on illegal immigrants, drugs, prostitution, corruption, SA youth unemployment, criminality, theft, killings, Satan churches, marikana, phalaphala, Eskom, transnert, bosasa etc, NGOs are quite, it's up to SA citizens to believe propaganda over reality
I think Thabo Mbeki would be an amazing guest on SMWX. Ayeye!
Working on it. đ
Wish we could turn back the clock and that President Mbeki won another term. He was an outstanding President.
Rubbish , after Mandela it was a slow down hill slide .
Mbeki started the mess when he decided to alter the idealistic spiritual vision of a rainbow nation that was laid down by Mandela in conjunction with good South African people of all races . Mbeki adopted a black African agenda , himself at the helm as MR AFRICAN RENAISSANCE , at SA's expense . The importance of this idealogical change cannot be overstated .
Besides the 300 000 people that died of aids because of Mr Mbeki Aids policy, we were economically strong, our unemployment rate was relatively respectable, the tax base was large enough to fund the grant recipients (which were almost 3x less than they are now), our electricity was stable, but alarms were starting to ring at that point. Mbeki was given a functioning, relatively new democracy and then Zuma happened.
@@michellegrobler9732I agree that his approach and decisions on AIDS was totally wrong and the loss of lives was horrific I am a DA supporter and my comment was based on how he governed during his term traged
@@michellegrobler9732....in respect of the economy etc etc
TM was also protective of his corrupt praise singers. They are all the same.
Quote of the decade= "The last time South Africa was a serious country was when former president Mbeki was in charge"
đ
Mbeki was fortunate that he followed straight after Mandela , when everything still worked . Mbeki alienated the minorities and that was the greatest mistake he could ever have made . His black African agenda destroyed the vision of a rainbow nation .
Great analysis! I guess most of us carry heavy hearts, and bodies to remember to subscribe, with all that's going on around us. People we have to come clean to our consciousness the ANC currently is a fruitcake to say the least, in cross roads & cross hairs. Something has to giveđ€đ
It's high time the true ANC come out of the closet and defend our beloved country South Africa đđżđŠđ
Leadership can you please have Mr Themba Lukhele on the show to give us his views on the Thabo Bester story.. as someone who has been in prison I think he can help us understand whatâs happening behind those walls
Very interesting. Thank you....
We need you as our President
Thank you so much for breaking the content of Former President Thabo Mbeki . Our ex President has the Country interest . Let hold our recent President accountable or else ANC will became an opposition part come next year. Why ANC keep protecting unethical leaders.
Keep the analysis coming. It's really dope.
đđœ
Dope episode and good analysis
Thank you. I agree you deserve 1000s of new subscribers! Keep up the analysis and the wonderful interviews.
Thanks! đđŸ
Sizwe, you know there was a very important issue raised by Prof Phakeng in her interview around accountability. Now my analysis is that we have a serious accountability issue in our society. We have leaders who don't even understand what accountability is and how they are to be accountable to its citizens. Now when we have that type of problem the citizens themselves don't have the capacity to mobilize and ask real accountability questions. And when I say the citizens I include those who are also within our political spaces.
So true.
Great analysis as always Sizwe, thanks. đ
Can you get the former President Thabo Mbeki?
The analysis slot is great toođ s/o Sizwe
Would be amazing.
Yes, ANC all wrong doing its say we majority in this Palament we diced what's a doing.
I think Sizwe you organise all province's to match to Palament to ask about Escom , we a tired bakithi uRamaphosa nalogesi wakhe.
Doc ngabisaqala kwa nge GoldMafia, khona umjita othe pha uyamazi Ramaphosa, his children in person.
I just immediately thought of Phala Phala.
Yheyi kurhabaxa đą
There hope for Azania, this is very sound analysis. Rise Doctor Mpofu continue engaging in these topics.
Ramaphosa won, the privatization team is winning. Ramaphosa and Pravin Gordan won when they silenced the public protector.
Thank the heavens for that.less corrupt cadres
@@sasha8664 Ramaphosa is the worse that we ever had. The man is putting enormous pressure on all of us to vote the ANC out. DA is pathetic. The ANC must just recall Ramaphosa. We may vote the ANC out not because we don't like it anymore, but as a protest against Ramaphosa's leadership
Big up!đThis is the comment of the year! that Mkhwebane is being suppressed by all means, and you're correct, DA is pathetic indeed, it is one thing with Ramaphosa, their business is to kill ANC, as they're all sharing similar handlers!
@@Lungile_Adams The reason the country is where it is, is because of people like you who are driven by race rather than moral value. The ANC is pathetic yet you project it onto the DA, Why ? Because of a racist outlook that's why. Whether you care to acknowledge it or not; the TRUTH is that the Western Cape has proven itself to be less corrupt (insofar as the abuse of government funds are concerned) and the least pathetic when it comes to unemployment.
And please do not call me a DA supporter because I am not. I can guarantee you that neither the ANC, nor the EFF; nor the DA would get my vote the way things are.
It's difficult to single out one person within the ANC, it's a whole lot of them that have disappointed most of the citizens of this country, it's as if they are working against us all, sooooo oo disappointed in this leadershipđđ
Thanks for explaining Thabo Mbeki's letter so beautifully. I like you here at your channel with your unscripted content. You must leave that scripted content at that other big channel, it's limiting your intelligence. Keep up the good work!
Great show indeed!

It would be interesting to get one (probably the SG) from those who were part of meeting that discussed the letter & its contents...then the former president. Both can be amazing to watch.
