🌞 hey guys!!! feels like it hasn’t been long since i uploaded my first vlog of this month, but already i’m posting the last?? insane.
as i’m wrapping up the month, i’m resetting some motivations, checking in on myself, planning my next schedules, still learning french, logging books for the summer.. and just freely touring the city(as you can tell by the vlog lol)
this may be the first month ever, in which i uploaded a video EVERY week and i’m proud of myself for it.. but i’m also concerned that i’m starting to loose a bit of my creative juice. so… yeah here’s hoping that gets better in the next month🥲

congrats on 30k! i love how vulnerable you always are about struggling to maintain life and personal goals while also trying to not get burned out. sometimes i feel like i am the only one who is constantly checking in with my self but knowing that other people are dealing with makes me less lonely. april was a better month for me since i worked more on my social life and the sun setting later and being out more help so much. :)) anyways i hope that ur may gets better the way april got better for me!!

Bonjour Cherrien, If I could recommend one french book to get started it would be "Le Petit Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I remember vividly how i enjoyed it when my Father used to read it to me when i was a child. It's also an author from my region so i'm even more proud of this book. Although it might seem like a children books, it have some pretty philosophical topics. I hope you'll enjoy it :) Take care! ( I also remember seeing it as a mascot in Gamcheon village in Busan !)

coucou, native french speaker here :) i wanted to share my favourite french-language films: portrait of a lady on fire dir. céline, the young girls of rochefort dir. jacques demy, bye bye tiberias dr. lina soualem (this is more like a documentary and half of it i’d say is in arabic but it’s definitely worth the watch!), la cérémonie dir. claude chabrol, la collectionneuse dir. éric rohmer (saw someone else in the comments recommending his films and tbh all of them are great, especially for spring/summer), le bonheur dir. agnès varda (great director as well), vivre sa vie dir. jean-luc godard.
for music i recommend these artists: vendredi sur mer, pomme, angèle, yseult, françoise hardy, lous and the yakuza, stella jang also released some songs/covers in french :)
