thank you!!🫶🫰 yeah ofcourse - lately on trips I’ve just been bringing my iPhone 14 pro max to film and a medium size moleskin with a mechanical pencil, some muji highlighters, and my smudgeguard glove. I was struggling with audio with my iphone (as u can tell in the video lol) and recently picked up a Dji Mic 2 which I’m excited to try! And then as for a tripod I just use a super compact Ulanzi one (not sure what the product name is) with an Ulanzi ST-06S extension for my phone. Aaand then all photos were shot on my fujifilm x-e1! lmk if you had any other specific q’s!

I especially like the "art imitating life" sketch @9:10, where you capture your act of sketching amidst your surroundings. The fact that you're a fellow lefty is also kind of cool. I often see people in videos drawing left-handed, and in the next shot I see the writing's backward around them, so it's backwards video and they're really right-handed. tbk, I'm not sure what the big deal is, but it's clear the place really pops for you, so I hope you get back there soon and get to really live, or at least hang out longer there.

Love this style of video! I’m always curious (if you would like to share) what sketching supplies you brought with you and how you decided what to bring. I’ll be flying near the end of the summer and I’m finding it so hard to choose!
yay have so much fun on your trip!! when I travel I keep it realllly simple - just a mechanical pencil (I use a pentel graphgear 500 with 0.7 B lead), eraser, lead, etc, muji highlighters (how i colour block on my sketchbook here) aaand a smudgeguard b/c I’m left handed. And then lately on my trips I’ve been filling in the medium sized moleskin you also see in the vid - I feel smth around that size is perfect and super portable to pull out and sketch, anything bulkier and its a bit of a pain to lug around / draw in when I’m on the go. Typically trips I’ve gone on where I brought like a wide variety of supplies I only ended up only using the one or two supplies that were most convenient for me, and that happens to be pencil - but I’d say whatever ur most comfortable with just bring that!

thank you! I used to shoot film but recently picked up this camera bc of it’s film-like qualities, and I’m realllly loving it so far. Saving a tonne of money on film + film developing & shooting with it has a lot of the same tactile qualities that I loved shooting with my Canon A-1👼

I try to go every few years if i can! obviously because of the pandemmy there was a long gap in the last while but growing up I visited alot because I have family there 8)
