hey guys sorry i’ve been MIA for the past week. i caught the seasonal flu and it wasn’t fun :’) but i’m back now with another vlog! just a look into some daily moments of my life here in seoul.
whenever we’re starting a new month or a new period in our lives i think we collectively set our expectations really high- and feel guilty about it if we don’t meet them.
i just want to stop and say that sometimes we’re only human. i love productivity and setting goals and achieving them more than anyone, but that shouldn’t have to come with constant guilt and fear of failure :)

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are a thing in France but the dates are different from the US for instance. (Fête des mères et fête des pères). I just got back from my Korean class. if you know you're a night owl you really don't have to push yourself to be a morning person. it'll actually be worse for you to have three days of early mornings and then sleep in the other half. just embrace the late mornings and your night owl self and be glad that you do have a job where you have the freedom to do this. night owls being pushed to be early birds is an annoyingly unhealthy norm :)
if you do want to get up earlier, by all means, do it! but don't feel like you have to! take it from an early bird who rises by herself fully awake at 5am...
