Definitely a valid competitor in the realm of the Mavic Pro, Pro 2 and Zoom with a bit more flexibility on restrictions.

Just read through may replies below and felt I had to share my experiences with the EVO. I have two EVO and my son has one. Between us we have 30 batteries. Both copters and batteries have been flawless. I am surprised at the amount of error in landing on Dustin's EVO. Our EVOs land within six inches or less every time. I have extensive first hand experience with six DJI Mavic Pro 2 with Hasselblad All six of the Mavic Pro 2 I have flown consistently land 2-3 feet off center on a variety of landing targets. I definitely prefer the EVO camera with 8 power "lossless zoom" (DJI term for 4K zoom) over the Mavic Pro 2 Hasselblad. I also have three DJI Inspire, a P4 Pro, and a P3 Pro. I won't buy a Mavic. One of my commercial training operations is to provide flight training to utility companies for power line inspection. Having many flight hours on both Mavic Pro 2 and EVO with hundreds of hours of real world commercial flights including utility line inspection, tower inspection, and aerial camera operations for videography training, EVO tops my list of preferred aircraft for these purposes. It is also a great FPV machine for simply flying around collecting great video. I have many flights within DJI airport NFZ and never have to ask permission when flying the EVO and always have to give DJI a cell phone number and ask permission to fly in airspace the FAA authorizes me to fly. I am a licensed commercial pilot as well as a Part 107 remote pilot certificate holder. The FAA authorizes me to fly and I will not ask DJI for permission. That and constant forced updates is why I am phasing out DJI products for other aircraft that don't force updates and NFZ.
Service is an important consideration when you spend the money these aircraft cost. My son had a minor crash into a tree with his EVO and had to send it back to Autel for gimbal repair. The service was stellar and price was VERY reasonable. DJI service is about as bad as it gets. I am not trying to bash DJI. They make great hardware. I dimply will not tolerate DJI intrusion and control over my flight operations.

Great review Dustin. Please try the orbit in precision mode and let us know how it goes for you.
why 30 batteries
@@tombeck1960 He said he trains companies to fly drones for power line inspections so he probably flies drones all day and needs a ton of batteries
The Mavic mini has optional forced update. I think I going the EVO for an upgrade.
@Kay I don't doubt the man if his business is aerial inspection of high power lines and structures. I just fly mine for fun and I have 1 of all the dji drones going back to original DJI Phantom to inspire 1. I see no reason to buy the more expensive DJI quadcopters for recreational purposes I have the original Autel evo and the poweregg & powereye and numerous drones xkx and the like. If you're addicted to the hobby like me you wait for the Particular drone you're interested in to come down in price or flash sale? I've probably easily spent $30.000 on rc aircraft and all sorts of quadcopters and accessories since the late 70's tho back then your controller required a good sized folding table to sit it on. No neck strap :). No gps and used a form of high octane fuel. I loved the smell of rc fuel burning. I really enjoy the hobby and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a birds eye view and mostly stress free flying thanks to gps. Have a great day and stay well. Sincerely William Horsley
@Kay yes it can get expensive and frustrating. I think DJI has the worst customer service considering the average price. It's like buying an Apple phone you expect more from customer service. I've found that the evo is plug & play no constant updates and best of all Autel evo doesn't control where you can fly. On top of that I like its video quality and wifi that's as good as DJI. Have a great day and stay safe. Sincerely William Horsley
It's going so far. Well played Evo.
Serious. A good contrahent to DJI.
BTW. I love that sprinklers at 5:19
Thanks for the update flights. The updates at times can almost equate to the release of a ‘new drone’ as far as performance.
Thank you so much, finally made up my mind, Evo on the way
Great video, a lot of effort goes into your editing to show all the screens at once.
Great test Dustin. Enjoy watching your videos indeed. I like the look of this drone. Great colour too. Cheers 😊✈️👍
Very good video Dustin-very good commentary-clear and concise. Thanks for that.
Mines been pretty spot on when it lands..thanks for the heads up drop on the ludacrist mode...been having a lot of fun with the digital zoom and color changes..
Nice update Dustin! I've had my Evo awhile now (had plenty of time to get well acquainted with the bird) and I was curious to hear your take on the "evolution" of the Evo. In short, I can say my experience is somewhat different than yours. I will explain.
Yes, the Evo does lose a bit of altitude in "Ludicrous" mode. Something to be careful with for sure. But I've have no problem hitting 45mph without assistance from the wind.
Precision landing? After 150+ flights, my Evo hasn't missed the mark by more than 6 INCHES even a single time. I was shocked to see yours miss by that much.
Furthermore, I've had absolutely zero "jerkiness" issues with the gimbal since the updates. Smooth footage galore. And while I'm not a big user of pre-programmed flight, I find the Evo orbit very satisfactory if used in precision mode with everything slowed down.
Lest anyone think I haven't compared some of DJI'S best with the Evo, I have, and I can't help feeling liberated with the Evo. Gone are DJI'S time-wasting, mind-numbing, and univited forced updates and NFZ warnings (often needless in many areas). And I must admit, as a retired American merchant marine ship's captain who's accustomed to calling my own shots, I've always despised having to ask someone in China for permission to fly my own drone! And what about having to allow DJI unfettered access to your device just to use their app? Talk about a lack of privacy!
I know plenty of hardcore DJI fans are having a tough time wrapping their head around how good the Evo actually is, but I believe an open mind is a good place to start.
The EVO is good competition. Some of the differences you stated could have been due to the wind in this review. I can tell you though that I did the same POI this same day at speed with the Mavic 2 ("Mavic 2 Pro 3 Months Later" vid up tomorrow) and DJI still has the edge on Autel for incredible smoothness even in stronger wind. Yes DJI has the whole nfz and update thing but I have been flying alot of drones for a long time and know perfection (albeit pricier) when I see it.
Why u write book
@@DustinDunnill that's why you're the best because you say it how it is thank you for being honest Dustin

Nice review, Angel is making progress! Good to see....
Autel not Angel.....
Great update and awesome vid from Maui - no ka oi - mahalo nui loa!
A great follow up test feature. This drone does show promise
Dustin, I think on that last landing the Precision landing may have been interrupted by the critical low battery state that it went into. If it hadn't done that it may have been more precise! Thanks for the update testing!
This is the one im getting great video
Awesome return to the drone mate, I love it. Way, way above my price range though. It costs more than ,y crappy car ha ha. Have a great weekend Dustin, thanks :) 👍👍👍
Nicely done.
Nice video. yours are always fun to watch and listen to. I like that the Evo doesn't have mandatory no-fly zones allowing one to use common their own common sense. I can see why you test the accuracy of the auto landing but I can't understand why some people want to to do them so often. I prefer to palm land my air and spark for the most part for two reasons. It's cleaner and I really think it makes a drone look less threatening to the on the fence observer. Actually, I go out of my way to avoid flying around people but that doesn't always work. By the way, I'm surprised that skate park was empty. The one near me is busy all the time with all ages and occasionally a dog or two being towed. Talk about "if at first you don't succeed" ...you just have to keep getting up and giving it another try. I'm always impressed!
Great test video the rear Obstacle avoidance works only in novice mode to stop in all other modes it only warns you
Yep, it wasn't meant to do anything other than warn the pilot. No fun flying if the drone does all the work...
Another great review, looks like the horizon issue is fixed. Really good camera IQ, love the 60 fps. Overall for the money a nice drone. Looking forward to a potential 1 inch sensor on this drone.
The camera sway issue was present on the Xstar premium as well. Not on first firmware version but the latest firmware this issue was presented.
This bird has potential, seems as though they are getting the bugs fixed. Great review and beautiful scenery as usual.
I agree with Anmol Creation, I’d love to see your thoughts on the FIMI A3 drone.
Hey Dustin, wanted to get an Evo so now I’m going back and watching all these good how to’s. Thanks! Just an update. Bought the Evo! The Zoom feature is kinda meh.
Urban X How do you feel now after having it for 10months? Is it worth the money?
I've watched this video 3 times, great review! I'm a subscriber to your channel and love getting what seems like genuine, honest reviews. Are you planning on doing another update video soon on this Autel EVO? Would love to see if the EVO has had anymore updates and has improve.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks Vince. I may do another to test further improvements 👍
Some nice improvements, Ludacris flying was excellent except for that drop in height. Great Review.
Thumbs up Dustin, looks amazing. Have a great weekend 😉🍻
Hey! Its been a while since I watched some of your vids. I got rid of my mavic and got more into rc cars now, next time you do a review on a car you should go to that new skate park and have some fun there!
Good job Dustin, I still like this quad and I will be buying it.
Nice update on the updates.
_Kinda proves how much the drone world has moved on when you think that just a few years ago, this would have been classed as 'amazing' and the minor faults would have hardly have been noticed_
I always enjoy critiques from the DJI cult. They always pick every detail out like "a little bit slower, a little bit jerking, a little bit less precision, a little bit etc" But for a $500 savings over the M2P,- I'll take the EVO. Thanx for a great review.
I agree I get so sick of the love fest these D J I clones have I'll take the cash savings and defiy most people to notice the right to left motion. ,
I liked my Xstar premium but it had a few issues. Aultel decided to dump Xstar unfortunately which sucked because now it’s left with a half baked app and firmware that’s not in any way bug free. Was considering the EVO but just lost my faith in this companies ability to get things done and done right. Hopefully they stick with this EVO line up and not bail on it in a year like the Xstar and leave people out it the cold with a $1,000 drone that’s not working properly. Great review though.
Love my x star but yup it has issues. Had 6 batteries, 5 died and I have one left. After that its a paper weight. Bummer its a decent drone.
I"ve had my X Star for over a year with zero problems. Still think it's the one of the best out there.
WINGSHIGH Aviation same
Ill have my evo in 2 months, cant wait...
Nice drone Bro 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😄
Thanks Dustin very nice update review it a good drone but if I'm spending that much I would go with the DJI Mavic Zoom. Thanks Again
Nice video. I,m still on the fence between DJI and Autel. Every review helps.
Can't believe DJI nor Autel have thought of doing a slow stop gimbal setting. I hate that instant stop.
Great video Dustin [as usual]. The evo has many great attributes and is a viable alternative to the Mavic in most all categories. Really surprised by the top speed - she can really book.
Just got the original Evo today and to say the least...I'm blown away.
Just curious about the 5,10 and 20 mhz setting.
I haven't seen all the responses to your video but when backing up the Autel Evo, obstacle avoidance only works in "Follow me mode". I realize this is an older review as I have only found your channel over the past few months but I have Ordered the Evo 2 which because of the Corona Virus will now be delayed even longer. That new Drone will put Autel (An American Co.) way ahead of DJI in my opinion. 8k which I won't be using but as it becomes more common lace I won't need to buy another drone. Buying for the future. Dustin, again great work buddy. Keep it precise. ALoha. Tomaso
3DR Solo did their orbit where you didn't have to fly over the target first, I believe they were the first to introduce smartshots, and have always been impressed with 3DR in that respect. I was very disappointed when my mavic air couldn't do the same shot as I was filming an outdoor event where I couldn't fly over the participants of the event before orbit. Thanks for doing these videos!
Have you tried litchi. It gives you the ability to mark the circle around point on the map
@@priceburnett It should be possible to mark any point in space by flying somewhere, pointing at it on the map, then flying a short distance, and pointing at the same point. That's enough to resolve any ambiguity, and pick the exact point in space you want to orbit. It's stupid the way Autel do the 'fly above it' and then still manage to fuck up orbitting.
The EVO manual says that you can set Orbit origin 3 different ways in Expert Mode, including by map marking. Haven't tried it yet, but plan to test soon.
6 month's latter and i still want one!! 👍😀👍
Wish i could afford one of those bad boys. Excellent review. Love the image it gets.
u can finance the drone on their website i think its called affirm
adjust all the settings in the program the way you want do gimbal adj. and when you take it up dont take it far, just test its return to home/etc.
Great video! I'm using it for flight training, my EVO is on the way.
What is the endurance of the controller battery? Is the controller battery fixed or swappable?
Also, do they have a car charger option? We are out in the boonies a lot.
Thanks.
Dave
I think the most IMPORTANT feature in all of these newer 4k capable drones is the lack of ability to adjust gimbal end point softening. Some allow you to change the speed but it still comes to a complete jerky stop. Compare that to most DJI products where as the end point can be smoothed/softened. None of these competitors have this and it's impossible to shoot quality smooth video in my opinion. If any of you don't understand maybe Dustin can give us an example. ☮️ Wheelchair John in Idaho 😎
The price differential to its main competitor, the Mavic 2 Zoom is $400 to $500.
Is the Mavic 2 Zoom that much better to warrant that extra spend, I really don't think so !
Bang for buck, the Evo is right up there !
The camera on this bird is outstanding.
By the way, Autel have set up in Australia, and are selling the Autel Evo, woohoo !
CHECK OUT THE AUSSIE FOOTAGE ON yt FROM AN EVO.
Reset home point next time you take off for precision landing... should work, did for me.
Man I’ve never thought of going away from DJI but I may now based on the communication feedback. Autel looks like they are getting into the game in a big way now
That thing is awesome in ludicrous mode. With the gimbal smoothing the footage it looks like it’s on a rubber band 😆
Not having FORCED geofencing and no-fly zones is a HUGE plus for Autel that sets them far above DJI. I live about 10 miles from an old airport that was closed several years ago. I can fly my Autel anytime I want with zero issues. Because the airport is still listed as a "no-fly" zone, my friend's DJI will not give him the OK to fly! There's no longer a tower, so there's no one to call for permission - he simply cannot fly unless he drives some 30 minutes away. That is insane. I fly wherever and whenever I want and it is safe to do so. And, like you said, not being forced to update when you don't want to - that's another WIN for Autel as well. I love my Evo. I really can't say enough good things about it!
Good points. I should have mentioned more about the NFZ in my reviews for it.
Nice job as always, Dustin. I enjoy watching and have learned a lot while reviewing them for purchases.
One note for the EVO though...While in the "Orbit Mode" setup screen, there is a settings option (wrench) that will allow you to set the center point of the orbit WITHOUT having to fly over it!
Maybe check that out.
As a related side note...There is also a similar setting menu when in the "Dynamic Tracking" mode that enables the reversing while tracking and the obstacle avoidance while tracking, as well! That, as well as the options for the Orbit, don't seem to be acknowledged by most of the reviews/opinions.
I agree that the EVOs flight while doing that orbit for you is not as smooth as the Mavic 2's yet but I am sure that the more people like yourself point it out, Autel will address it
Thanks John. Good points 👍
Hi, little side note, my good old Mavic Pro achieves over 80km/h (50mi/h) in Ludicrous mode without losing hight...
Wow. As i said with after your initial review if they keep this up DJI may soon have some real competition. It may not have scored a near perfect bullseye like the mavic did but landing within a drone's length of the launch point is good enough for me. Honestly anything with in a 1-1.5m range is good enough for me 99% of the time.
GREAT FOOTAGE!!! I still believe Autel should have a much larger fan base!!!
Thanks for the update!!! Cheers
I consider it a candidate for purchase.
It's only available in the US. Not sure why Autel won't release in other counter. Can't compete with Dji.
I had an XStar by Autel was a great Drone.
They are advertising now for an international sales manager/director.
Definitely improved. Autel seem to be at a point DJ were a couple years ago. Compares well to a Mavic 1
I think I tried the "Ludicrous" mode once since they added it, but don't think I'll use it much. I got the Evo mostly for its camera/video quality, and so I'm more likely to use the precision mode. I've slowed my gimbal down to 30%. I've also done some tweaking of the camera controls to get the video to where I like it. To be honest, I really couldn't see much "head wag" as you described it. It is much better than when I first got mine back in August, so I'm happy with it. A lot of times I do the 'Fly around point' manually, with the controls on the RC. Why? Because I can .. ha ha. Not sure you're going to get precision landing in Ludicrous mode. I generally fly mine in either Precision or Standard mode, and I have the same landing mat as you, and it usually hits it every time. BTW, I've never done a compass calibration on mine. I have done several gimbal calibrations, especially after the last FW update, which is supposed to store gimbal calibration info. Overall, I'm very happy with my Evo, and especially happy about not having to do a 'compass dance' or be bothered by nag screens about Airports, or Updates, etc. We've got snow on the ground now (and ice) and its about 28 deg. F. We might get up to 36 in a couple days, so I'm hoping to get out when we get some decent weather .. I'll still be wearing gloves though! Mahalo!
yep, I use mine for camara, and gimble calabrations more important to me not hot dog flying and I allso fly manual and havent really ever used the flight modes, and I was really surprized his didnt land like 2 inches from where it took off like mine dose 99% of the time evos camara is a wider view than my other drones and im loving it..
Bill, just received my EVO w/the bonus package any suggestions before I put into the air for the first time. By the way I fly a X-Star Premium for the past year. Just upgraded. Thanks for any advice!
@@karthurjr Hey, congrats on getting the Evo. Make sure you have all the latest Firmware updates from Autel's site. I think the current one is v1.3.3.25 . If you have more than 1 battery, you may have to repeat the update for each battery (after you select how long you want it to wait until it starts discharging). Subsequent updates for just a battery are quick. Make sure you have the latest App for your device (Autel Explorer). I use an Android device with a decent sized screen (Galaxy Note 4). You can mount a tablet to it with an adapter if you need to. Go thru all the options available using the App. You can also make changes using just the display, but I think its a bit easier using the App, as you can scroll thru the options on the bottom of the screen. It may take some time getting used to using that right wheel on the RC and the button. (the buttons on the back of the RC are NOT programmable yet .. maybe in the next update). I've NEVER done a compass calibration on mine, and Autel says you don't need to do one unless you get a warning to do one. Make sure you have about 10 GPS birds before taking off in GPS mode.
Even in standard mode, there are several speeds you can select. There is also a precision mode which smooths all the controls for more cinematic video. The 'Ludicrous' mode is REALLY fast, so beware .. it doesn't stop on a dime. When changing batteries, hold the Evo in one hand by the underbelly, and then use your other hand to push down the release button. Some guys were pressing down on the battery to change it while the craft had its legs out and on the floor. They developed some stress cracks in the arms that way .. so hold it when inserting/removing batteries. Do a gimbal calibration on a dead level surface .. takes about 5 minutes to do. You've got time on the XStar Premium, so you shouldn't need too much other coaching. Good luck, and happy shooting! BTW, shooting video in 4K 60 uses up SD card space FAST. Unless you have a 'super computer', editing 4K 60 video can make your video editor 'choke' and crash (my Filmora does that all the time .. they are supposed to update it for higher res. video soon). Cheers!
Bill, can't thank you enough, just great advice. I'll be sure to follow as best I can. Thanks again!
Bill, I've kept your comments for past month to reread. You gave some GREAT suggestions. Keep them coming.
Great review I really like this bird it seems very user friendly,I have a Mavic and something about it just seems a little forbolding and cold were as the Autel has a little collor and much more cheerful. Nothing like paying all that money to something that will report you to the authorities if you don't play by the rules haha.
Hey Dustin now that 2 years has passed can you do an update on the EVO now? I just purchased one and im loving it. i really dont know all i should but you would know whats been updated. Well 1.5 years
Maybe 🍻
This drone has an amazing camera. Just looking at this footage well done autel. A quick question are you using any nd filters currently ?
All stock, I don't have any filters for the drone at this time.
I just ordered this drone on eBay for $905 with 3 batteries. hope it's a good deal
Looks nice man. Of all the drones you've reviewed recently this one is my favorite the anafi is pretty good too. Not sure about it though as i've not been able to see it in person.
Off-topic but i wonder if it's worth investing in a xiaomi 4k camera for the drone or just dump it on ebay as is and get the new A3 from them?
I'm guessing you'd recommend getting this drone as a 2nd option to my DJI M2P? From a biz standpoint, makes sense to have one that isn't so harshly regulated like DJI drones. Hate being limited in places I can fly, when I'm hired to do a job for hire. Has there been some updates over the past 6 months or so with this drone, now that it's late 2019? Thanks for the great reviews!
To adjust drone landing location it needs to be turned off then on again. The drone learns it's location when it is turned ON!
I'm holding out for the second gen evo :) for DJI I just use my old Naza 2 :) and spark for fun :)
It’s somewhat disappointing when I enquired with Autel Robotics as to where my nearest dealer in Europe is and they responded with Canada 🤪
I know this video is over 2 years old now but it's worth mentioning the Evo 2 nails the landing pad every time.
I'm watching this 6 months later after this video. Has it improved? I love the video setup they've got. 60fps is nice and smooth. Can't get past the DJI video jitter! But that Mavic Pro Platinum is just so dang crisp and right now they're cheaper refurbished than any Evo new.
There is a good deal on Evo at BestBuy, 3 batteries, 64gb card and a $100 gift card
If Autel robotics are anything like their automotive division then I’d leave some feedback about the shakiness on the orbit mode. Their automotive division always responds quickly and have even given me personal beta software to try.
I have DJI and Autel equipment for the large price gaps the EVO is by far better and no doubt Autel will correct every little issue you don’t pay $1,500 for this drone or $150 a piece for batteries I’m sticking with AUTEL 4 Sure
Thanks for the flight Dustin sure beats that Hubsan Zino lol
That zino was a disaster I cannot believe it's price point lol. If it was 150 180 that'd be better.
Right look what happened to their first drone the x-star they discontinued it I believe a year after it was launched and all the people who owns them can't get accessories for them hopefully they don't do the same thing to the evo
Hi, great update. I would like to ask that I noticed that you had it in ludicrous mode when doing the rth. on the second try it was in ludicrous mode only during take off. Since all sensors are off in this mode could this have effected the accuracy of the rth?
I also want to share that I purchased my evo from best buy online. It was my birthday so best-buy gave me an instant $100 off plus a $100 gift card. Plus the shoulder bag and extra batteries plus an additional $25 off and 0 down 18 months 0 interest. What a deal!!!
Purchase EVO a week ago. Had to send it back because the battery had issues. The first cell was under by ten compared to the other two cells. It’s one more other guy that had battery issue with his EVO.
You can find lil bit better detailed explain on my page. Also a short video posted also concerning the battery.
The bad battery is probably a fluke. I and my son have 3 Evo and 30 batteries with no problems.
When you say NO FLY ZONE notification, do you mean you just don't see a text displaying on screen when flying the Autel Evo vs the Mavic models? i understand about the no forced updates. And, presumably, it is still required to register with FAA, correct?
It’s getting better but autel still has a ways to go if they want to compete with dji
I hate to admit it, but glad I shelled out extra for the Mavic 2 Zoom.
Just bought me an Evo 1, for a pretty damn good price & needing a gimbal, but gonna have one coming this Friday!(I hope) I'm new to this drone stuff but far as I can tell these Autels are pretty good, right?
Great video. Is the Evo using GPS for precision landings? If so, you
cannot expect it to land on your target every time. GPS is not pin point
accurate unless you are using a WAAS enabled system, or some other form of correction, and even that is
only usable (available) for a an aircraft on a precision approach. 3 meter accuracy is
about all you can expect to get with the average GPS, and anything
better is pure luck. Maybe if EVO and DJI program some target recognition code for their landing pads, they could incorporate that into the drone's final approach.
Have you used the ‘follow me’ mode on this drone? Seems like they use a different term for it, did you use it and how did it perform?
Put the evo in precision mode and the gimbal is smooth...no jerking.
The only true test of one quad to another is to own and fly them over time. All the rest is pure conjecture. Also, why are you buying a quad with a 4K camera? Is it for flying or taking pictures? Weight these two factors and your pocketbook and act accordingly. By the way, enjoyed the video especially since it was in Hawaii 😁!
Have you experienced any of the sudden battery level drops that many users are complaining about? Lots of reports of batteries dying with only 20-30 charges on them.
I haven't had enough charges to experience that. I've got around 15 so far.. but I'll keep you informed 👍
Good morning Dustin great video all your videos are very informative. The question I have is on a scale of 1to 10 wt would you rate autel evo to some of the competitors out there l will not say no names you now the one please let me know thanks Eddie
I'd say it falls right in between the Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 series as a great option.
How do they treat their customers when there are problems? i have the M. Air and not too thrilled with DJI's support.
because the rear sensors didn't make the drone stop?
so would you pick it over the mavic 2 zoom lets say ?
especially with the price diff ?
Sweet
You mentioned tripod mode, does it also have an equivalent of dji cinematic mode?
I think the top 5 companies are
- dji
- parrot
- yuneec
- hubsan
- autell
What drone is better ?, evo or mavic zoom?
Can you increase the video exposure? All of the videos I see with the Evo seem to have dark exposure.
Dustin, I have a question.... Can you use any smartphone (without) a carrier ie: No Att or Verizon just using the phones capable WIFI ... Just use the phone basically as an extra screen with the App installed?
Yes, you don't need cellular service.
Just got my EVO. Coming from the Q5004k I expected a better camera. My EVO photos are very blurry and video isn't great at all. Am I missing something? Is there a camera lens calibration on the EVO? Or could mine be faulty. And I don't want to even talk about the EVO's auto exposure that's constantly moving. I've been flying my Q5004k for 4 years so I'm not a beginner. Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.
sir please make video Xiaomi FimI A3 review.......💕💕😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘📷
I will when it arrives 👍
It looks quite simple use at this drone. Menus looks user friendly. (Y)
I have a question. When the EVO is in the RTH mode flying against a 15+ mph wind mine crawls at around 6 to 7 mph. I have disabled collision avoidance or switch to ludicrous mode in order to get it to move before the battery runs out. I have had this happen twice since i have had the EVO. Is this normal?
Will it orbit a moving object, e.g. a car or a boat or even someone walking?
Hay Dustin, Great video I like that it's a great deal for a Drone that isn't DJI , I don't have a problem with DJI but I like options but what I think that the price is a bummer. Thanks again for the information.
Thanks again from Korea. Question: Is there a practical reason for the launch pad?
1 it keeps your quad out of the dirt and or tall grass(especially when props will kick up dust without it). It will also help the camera find it's launch point for landing.
@@priceburnett Thank you.
Does the EVO have return to controller option and can you hand launch and catch?
How is it for low light shooting?
Autel is offering a free on the go bundle with the evo.
