    Here's a 30-minute track you can use for a "power study" session before an exam, or between classes.
    The shorter length should also make it easier for beginners to start enjoying the benefits of binaural beats without it being "too much at one time."
    Why does the beat keep changing like this? The basic idea is to keep the frequencies shifting periodically, so your brain will be continuously adapting to a beat that changes, to help reduce the chance of it "tuning out" after a while and getting bored or distracted.
    If this is your first time here, I always recommend starting with the bodyscan exercise before your first session: • [BODY SCAN v2] Exam An...

      It's just a matter of practice, as you get used to studying for a certain duration, you can advance slowly till you reach the sweet spot.
      Personally I have gotten used to the 90min one and can feel myself getting in the zone more and more easily everytime.
      I do two 90min sessions per day and it has probably been the most worthy time investment I have ever done.
      Yesterday, after I completed the second bouch of effort I felt like I hadn't really gotten that much done (even tho I certainly do feel pleasure just from finishing the 3 hours), and I realized how little I was actually doing everyday before adopting this habit.

      @@kierenkane7516 I’m not sure tbh… I’ve noticed that with the classical music, every now and again, the tones of the notes of certain instruments harmonize and do something to the binaural beat. I would say no music other than classical and even then maybe? Curious to know what Jody says/thinks…

    • @kierenkane7516
      @kierenkane7516 Před 2 lety +8

      @@kuzkateco
      You are simply making the perceived waveform more complex, which can actually help to mask the binaural beat in a way that makes it more subconscious and more effective. We did human trials at Kings College London where I measured brainwave synchronization, or entrainment, to binaural beat rates using an EEG machine. Subjects were given a GUI that allowed them to set levels on background music. Those who set their music levels with a higher amplitude than the binaural beating experienced quicker brainwave synchronization to the external stimulus of the binaural beat rate.
      Binaural beats will absolutely “work” when listening to simultaneous background music.
      “The perception of a binaural beat is said to be heightened by the addition of masking noise to the carrier signal (Oster 1973), so white or pink noise is often used as background. Practices such as humming, toning, breathing exercises, autogenic training, and/or biofeedback can also be used to interrupt the homeostasis of subjects resistant to the effects of binaural beats (Tart 1975).”
      Ultimately though, it's up to you!

      Binaural beats play one tone in one ear and another in the other ear.
      To get the binaural beat you need while sleeping or walking, it is best to use both earphones since your brain is comprehending the differences between the tones to get the binaural beat in the first place.

      Binural beats are a powerful stimulation to the brain and sometimes you need to "condition" yourself a bit. If you started with 90 minutes you might have over trained. Give yourself a few days off and then start up again . I tend to use a pomodoro timer so I take breaks every 30 minutes and give my brain a break. Also, I found for me I listen at a low volume... a little above auditory threshold.

      no it won't work without headphone. If you really don't want to use headphone, try monoural beat instead.

    • @bestbinauralbeats
      @bestbinauralbeats  Před rokem

      Unfortunately, it's physically impossible to hear a "binaural" beat without headphones. If you listen with speakers, you get an acoustic (or monaural) beat. Learn more here: bit.ly/bineye1what

    Is this harm my ears .., If I'll listen at high volume?

    • @RicardoAwake
      @RicardoAwake Před 3 lety +4

      I mean, you can have side effects on your ears (meaning your ear canal can be echoing the binaural beats even after you turn it off for a period of time, similarly when you have air stuck there and you lose temporarily some acoustic definition, you know? So I lost some hearing while having the echoes hearing accidentally on 70%. I felt like that but it passed after a few hours).
      Mainly it can do more harm to your brain in the sense of BAD headaches if you abuse the binaural stimulation regarding time (overextending) and volume (too high) of the track because your brain can only sustain a frequency for a period of time (not including the sleeping ones because they improve your rest even though lasting for 8hours on the right volume).
      On a regular basis, the binaural stimulation (meaning alpha-focused studying tracks) as Jordan recommends is max 1h30 at 20% volume (maybe 30% if you're in a loud environment) with breaks to let your brain reset its frequencies. I hear at 18% on YT w/ my overall Windows volume on 50%.

      if you use the to focus while doing yoga or exercising then ya, just listening to them wouldn't do any thing as far as i know,
      though i would argue listening to them (or any relaxing music)might reduce stress which will help in weight lose and also reduces craving.

      like what @@oximas-oe9vf said, binaural beats will not be effective for weight loss without exercising. But if you think that weight loss is that easy then clearly you haven't even tried. Weight loss takes time and if you are not bothered to commit any time to developing your health then you won't be able to do anything
