Yes, it’s still going strong. In this era of streaming, mainstream cable television is slowly finding itself unable to keep up with the always on demand entertainment. This hasn’t slowed The Walking Dead down any. Much like the walkers within the series, the show refuses to die. People love it. We once covered this series in one of our previous timelines, but I feel like we could stand to cover it again since new content has been released. The final season is here (supposedly), and soon enough, all we’ll have left is Fear the Walking Dead. I’m sure that’ll suck for most of you, not because Fear The Walking Dead sucks, but because you will be down a show. That time-slot forever lost to the void of non-zombie drama. And so, to celebrate this show, and give it the send off it deserves, let’s cover the newest season up to this point in our timeline. Much like the last timeline, we’re not going to cover Fear the Walking Dead, because that series is long enough to deserve its OWN timeline. Get your machetes and shotgun-axes, because we’re going Walker hunting.

lori doesn't get killed by walkers, she had a complicated birth, and carl puts her down right after the cecerian, the walker rick saw was the one that ate lori

Right, she went into labor when everyone was separated & walkers were loose in the prison, but she was ALSO bleeding inside after trying to push, so she needed a C-section (which Carol was practicing for just in case, since Lori had to have one with Carl & assumed she’d need one again) but she & Maggie knew that doing a C-section would kill her, since the only medical equipment they had was a regular knife, and even IF walkers hadn’t got loose in the prison, Lori would not have likely survived a C-section anyways, due to no sterile operating equipment, no blood or IVs to administer if needed, and literally ZERO medical supplies.
So, it was either lose both her & the baby, or save the baby. Lori would’ve bled out anyways even if Maggie didn’t do the C-section, so Lori was dead either way.
Fault & Blame: Andrew was at LEAST guilty of robbing Lori the chance to have the baby either natural or C-section under the better circumstances, he might’ve been responsible for both her going into labor and the internal bleed. Lori might’ve went into labor because of the chaos of walkers being let loose in the prison - BUT, she was either due
or overdue at that point, so she might’ve went into labor anyways.
*IF* the chaos did not happen, whether she went into labor on her own, or whether they induced her labor, she likely would’ve had the same internal bleed, which could’ve killed her.
But then again, IF there was no chaos in the prison, and she did NOT go into labor (we don’t know what caused her labor, being due or the stress from the chaos), Carol would’ve soon had to perform a C-section because the baby was due - she might’ve survived that, but it’s not likely.
Overall, Andrew’s actions made everything WORSE, he might’ve caused her labor, and he might’ve been the cause of the internal bleed.
Some weird things to leave out and some weird things to mention. Like you don't mention Abraham, Rosita and Eugene initial meeting with Glenn and their mission but mention things like Beatrice, basically a nobody, dying.
Right. And messed some things up too. Like Rick did not re-kill Lori.
Cut him some slack, he has a twenty minute video out of eleven seasons of content

Initially there would be massive waves of zombies since there’s a lot of bodies and people were defenseless. But gradually, there are less and less people for the zombies to eat as survivors become more defensive. With the military and outpost killing zombies, and the supply of bodies for the zombies to eat are tightening, the zombie population should have declined drastically.
The writing for the show is just mediocre, its the same with fuel, ammo, tech anything that is society produced just keeps existing and doesnt seem to be limitied in this show. I mean we got freakin stormtroopers.
Negans story needed a lot more focus given he is basically the fan favorite character now

I love imagining each character's backstory and each day by day event they had to go through such as Negan. It just gives the walking dead REPLACEABLITY like some real quality video games.

Your statement regarding the CDC: "131-132 days before the global outbreak, the CDC discovers the first case of the virus which reanimates the dead. They give it the codename "Wildfire" and begin to study its effects on the human brain. Its existence is unknown to the general public." It was very professional and helpful. I documented it and included it in my investigation and timeline paper.

It’s upsetting that this series(walking dead) ended I wish that the series will continue someday in the future because it’s a goddamn masterpiece.

the rick and michonne spin off is in pre-production, the negan and maggie spin off is scheduled for release April ‘23 and norman reedus posted on instagram in france with the caption ‘day 1’ with a camera emoji so he’s obviously started filming his spin off so the walking dead is far from over mate
It's still a great show and a good recap of one of the most epic TV shows of all time. There's just nothing else like it.

Well, I learned more with u since I saw Eugene and his group made prisoners in those train boxes. It s very frustrating waiting for episodes I v nt seen because I live in France a d Netflix shows get to us much later than in the Usa and the Uk i so much want to see the rest. My favourite are Darryl and Carol. By the way, it was nt Rick who had to kill Lorrie, it was Carl after his sister was being delivered

Agreed. Doesn't make sense to make a TWD timeline and not include everything connected to it. FTWD gives us a look at what it was like early on and how things spiraled.
Rick never killed Walker Lori… her body wasn’t even there anymore. And no Alpha did not start the whisperers
Also Rick didn't escape the hospital with his partner. Also the walkers do "hunt " by smell. Also about a hundred other mistakes.

I had thought it was just the OG show and "Fear The..." but I was just scrolling prime an there's a maggie negan show in NY, and a "Tales of the" show, there's so many shows. Can't believe i caught the comics a year or two before the first show came out. What a decade its been.
I watched the first two seasons when they dropped and it was very slow to watch at first… few years pass by and the show blows up around season 5 and turned me to hate the show cuz all the new fans came out of no where praising it and my ass was like “bunch of fake ass posers” now it’s 2024 and I got into dead city and Daryl’s show and had to search up the timeline just to catch up after season 2. huh, am I getting this right, that basically the first 8 seasons only cover around two to three years!? Because your timeline states that the All out war happens between day 584 and 628 after the outbreak, which would be not even two years. (considering a year in TWD universe also has 365 days of course)
Taking Judith as an orientation, as she was born at the beginning of the second year (apparently, between the ending of season 2 and the start of season 3 the group just roamed through different places without having a real camp, during winter). Then they encounter the prison and shortly after Judith is born, which was "created" at the very beginning of the first season, maybe some weeks before Rick wakes up from his coma, but definitely in the summer of the outbreak. They clash with Woodbury happened shortly after Judith was born. I assume, they get attacked a second time the year after early Spring I guess. According to Judiths growth, she seems to not being older than maybe 8 months at that time, but this might be because of lack of nutrition!? However, a child of one year, should start walking and babbling, what Judith is apparenty not doing during that whole time between the second attack of the Prison and the groups arrival at Alexandria. But well, let´s say, the group lived for like a year in the prison before they are forced to leave it. That would mean, they are in the third year of the Zombo-Time (did I mention that I really like the word Zombo!? :D ), when they arrive first at Terminus, then go back to Atlanta to resque Beth and then travel aaaaaaall the way up to Alexandria, which seems to be located somewhere near the east coast. Isn´t that like a really really long way to walk, wiht no food in summer t ime? No surprise Rick calls them the Walking Dead, they litterally walked being nearly dead all that way. The Wolves attack Alexandria at the end of year three, somewhat around fall. Judith should be 2,5 years by that time, but is apparently still more like a baby, not a toddler, while Carl grew from a around 8 years old boy to a 12 years old teenager in the same time... not that logical to me, but well, it´s a show, isn´t it!?
So in year 4 they finally meet the saviors and after what seems months of fighting they finally defeat them, Carl dies, looking like a, at least 14 years old teenage boy. So, before the bridge part, they should be, at least between day 1460 and 1825 (4 to 5 years).

i am so confused about how time works in the show. like when you introduce alpa&beta it's roughly 2 years after the start of the apocolypse, but carl grew up, if he wouldn't have died he'd be like 18 or something. he was like a teenager when he died already wouldn't that have to take at least 5 years. and it also just feels more streched in that sense. like there's no way it was just two years between the farm and whisperers/

Some things they've changed I did like. However, the whole Negan thing would have been better if they'd stuck closer to the comic. But that's my opinion and the opinion of comic book lovers.🤷♀️

Um....just so you know, there are 3 new Walking Dead shows coming out next year. Lol One is centered around Maggie and Negan then there is a show centered around Daryl, and finally a show that brings back Rick and reunites him with Michonne. And all take place after the events of the Walking Dead series finale.

how do you mean Fear is the only TWD series left? There's going to be TWD: Dead City (spin-off with at least Negan and Maggie) ánd TWD: World Beyond has 2 seasons at this very moment.
