With no other options I had to thaw a frozen garden hose to feed the cows. Here is how I did it with a torch. If you hate on this video you will have bad dreams.
Take the hose indoors and put it in the bathtub. Fill the tub with hot water to cover the coiled up hose and leave for 15-30 min. Empty tub and drain all the water from the hose.
Great idea! I am in the same situation except my long hose is inside pvc pipe and some of it is buried underground so I can't use the torch like you did. Enjoyed watching thanks!
A TORCH WILL WORK YES BUT YOUR NOT CAREFUL YOU CAN MELT THAT HOSE AS WELL AS WEAKEN IT. TRY USING A HEAT GUN OR BLOWDRYER .YOU CAN GET A GENTLE EVEN HEAT IF YOU KEEP IT MOVING AND NOT MELT THE HOSE .NOTE: IF YOUR GOING TO USE A HEAT GUN BE CAUCIOUS TO NOT CONCENTRATE ON ONE AREA OR THIS TOO WILL MELT YOUR HOSE PATIENCE IS THE KEY WITH EVERYTHING FROZEN LOL

just did this lol but i used a heat gun!! had to pressure wash and we have been freezing the past few days in washington state lol..
Would be easier and safer to just take the hose in the house inside for awhile and then your not burning, melting or damaging the hose at all.😂
