In any ADRENO store (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth), there are typically 50 - 60 different masks on display to choose from. These masks differ in size, fit and colour. I like to breath in and then hold. This simulated what it’ll actually feel like during a dive. I watch out for the crown of my forehead because sometimes the frame presses too much for some mask. Comfort and seal is the key here. Try on everything you can and like he said always keeping the better of the two in comparison never going back.

Watch the stubble too. Sometimes even a days worth can break the seal. Also make sure the mask isn't too close to the bridge of your nose. The frame can dig into it after diving all day.
