  • Velma episode 5 review has Velma set up a band sleepover to lure Norville to her house. HBO Max has created an adaptation animation of the Scooby Doo cartoon that has nothing in common with the original Scooby Doo series. No mystery was discovered in this episode, Daphne hunted her parents and Fred bought pizza. Is Velma worth watching?

Velma episode 5 review where the scooby gang go out and hunt for the plot. We've now moved on to making Velma admit how horrible she is, while not even attempting to change. And Fred continues his, err, unlucky taste? But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

An "Irish Exit" is a slang term for leaving a party without telling anyone, sometimes also called the "Irish Goodbye". Supposedly it comes from the practice of a drunk man leaving a party without making contact with anyone else in order to hide the fact that he's blitzed (drunk=irish naturally). A less common school of thought is that it refers to the practice of convoluted Irish social conventions when leaving a party that means it's quicker and easier to just duck out the door and leave.

A doctor...so it's ok he didn't know, but I'll always remember it as the one time I accidentally made someone with a larger paycheck feel much smaller.
They said, "Wow, you got camels out here?! I thought it would get too cold here."
    Me: "Camels?"
They described where they saw them and we discussed it while I checked them in.
Me: "Those are actually alpaccas. I can see the confusion though, they look like they have a hump cause their hair mats at the top when they need steering."
He was in complete disbelieve, he said, "Um..no, I'm %100 positive I saw a camel, alpacca are sheep size."
Me: ":)" I just looked at him with wide eyes for a second. So he would realize what part of the states he's in.
    Him: "Ok, let's google it."
Me: "If It was medically related, I wouldn't bother, but you said it, lets learn us."
One google later. Watched his expression crumble.
Him: ":( wow...I'm 40 years old and I thought that was a camel my whole life."
Me: "Sir, don't feel bad, if you aren't learning something new, you're probably dying. I bet your skull is just full of more useful information is all."

The one positive thing I can see about this show is that it eliminates any doubt or plausible deniability, that there are paid shills who praise shows regardless of how awful they are.
Despite it's 1.3 IMDB rating there are still some who have given it 10 stars. Or on Rotten Tomatoes its 6% audience score is paired with a ~50% critics rating.
I mean, fair enough, not every one is going to give it one star. You might feel that the animation deserves an extra star. Perhaps you think some of the voice acting is pretty good. Or, maybe, you even think some of the jokes are funny. But 10/10?!? In fact 10 has the second highest percentage.
Like anyone is going to believe that you think it is on par with "Dr. Strangelove" or "The Office".
If they want to be believed they could at least rate it 6-8 instead of 10

    • @SquallLionhart409
      @SquallLionhart409 Před rokem +22

It hasn't been a question for a long time. The IMDB reviews are particularly funny. Giving some a read, some seem genuine... but most do not, with the funniest being one that copied another, word for word for multiple paragraphs.
The ratings shills are used early on release so if a random person goes online and quickly checks, the mass of 10 star reviews will drag up any awful show for at least a little to convince a person to give the show a chance.

As usual, you're the reason this show is worth seeing. Thank you, Disparu.
I admit that the barely there mystery of Fred's house and the woman who lived there before is the first actually slightly interesting and vaguely compelling thing to happen to this show. It must have been accidental. And it reminds me a bit of the old episodes of the actual Scooby-Doo that Mindy "Hannibal" Kaling has peeled the skin off of and laid it over herself to fool the clapping seals of her hired fanbase, but I'm sure the mystery will eventually either be forgotten or it'll just collapse under the ponderous weight of Kaling's overinflated ego.
Also, I suppose Warner owns the old Captain Caveman animated cartoon (obviously so since it was also done by Hanna-Barbera animation) since the people in the mines are just wearing disguises identical to that show's protagonist. I wish I was making that up. I'm old enough to remember seeing that silly cartoon on Saturday mornings. Tell me one of the disguised people said Unga Bunga so I can go throw up.
I like how the band sleepover bouncer's legs grow back. Or he's part spider and has spare legs tucked up inside his shorts. He's really skinny, those are just his extra legs wrapped around his waist. That's more funny (and possibly more disturbing) to me than any "joke" that has appeared in this show.
If this is how Norville/Shaggy gets treated in relationships, no wonder that in his Scooby-Doo future he prefers to hang out with a dog instead. And never seems to go home to his (worthless) parents.
Frankly, the sheriff's car yeeting Velma down the road is the first scripted thing in this episode that has actually made me happy. Now run over her head and get us out of this misery.
Daphne going into the sewer at the end makes sense, really. Right now, as of this episode, she is the only Mystery Inc. character acting like a Mystery Inc. character.
