the guys imitating the influencers are actually their fathers making fun of them which makes all the funnier
Nice detail!
I think this was included in a Daily Dose or susu video before. I could be wrong.
this makes it so much worse, that hes just okay with his daughter partaking in sloot behavior.
Them being utterly baffled by pre-9/11 airports makes me feel so old. "Do they just, like, GO?" Not...exactly, but kinda. They run your bags through the xray, and you go through a metal detector, but there wasn't all this "random" inspection, remove your shoes, limitations on tubes and bottles and containers and such. Walk up, put bag on conveyor, walk through detector, pick up bag, be on your way.
Ah, yes, pre-9/11 airline travel. Those were the good old days.
mainly cause the TSA is completely useless at their job, since all their checks don't actually check anything useful. Its still the pre-9/11 security that pulls the weight.
And family could meet you at the gate, or go with you to the gate.....dammit am old.
I'm 18 and even I knew that💀
Also, if you were picking up your friend from the airport, you waited for them at the gate.
I appreciate that MXR never clickbaits us. They always show the thumbnail clip first thing in the video.
NOW, yes. That was a recent change, maybe a year ago. Before that it was about always the LAST clip in the video.
@@niceguy169 Yeah comments like the above which praise them for "never clickbaiting" (which I'm seeing more and more lately) always throw me off. When for probably 80% of this channel's existence, clickbaiting was its bread and butter, and you could almost always be sure the "sexy thumbnail" wouldn't be seen til the very end. It was to the point where there were comment memes about it ("I always skip to the end" or "skip to X:XX to see the thumbnail").
@@siukong yeah, it’s cheap but it’s not fake at least. Other channels put something in the thumbnail, knowing full well they’re never gonna show it in the actual Video. It’s a breath of fresh air imo
@@niceguy169 it’s better to have it first, so you don’t have watch the entire video, if you just want the sauce
@@siukong If it's in the video, let alone in a predictable and easily found location, it's not really clickbait.
Thank you for posting your videos seeing you to reacting and having fun together, makes me feel happy as well! Thank you!
Before 9/11 you were allowed to walk freely anywhere in the airport. As a kid, we use to go to the terminals just to watch the planes take off. You could walk traveling friends and family directly to the gate... I am old now...
Ayo same last name bro, my first name starts with J too
Yep, I remember my mom walking me to the gate as a child and also having family meet me at the gate when I got to the destination.
My dad used to take me to the airport and we would watch the airplanes take off and land. They did use to allow unrestricted access right up to the gates. But if my memory serves well, that changed way before 2001, at least in my neck of the woods.
@@kokuutou92 Hu are you
Right, watch the beginning of the movie Dogma if people need a refresher. The terrorists won.
Several famous serial killers were actually very popular with the ladies which allowed said ladies to meet their untimely ends. If Bundy was alive as a 30 something man today, he’d have 100x more potential victims inviting him to Netflix and chill.
Women ☕
Bundy's charisma is a bit overstated as far as his victim hunting went. His main method was to pretend he had car troubles (he drove a VW bug) and then hit the unsuspecting woman with a tire iron when her back was turned. He did get a lot of "fans" while he was in prison, though.
Only thing that would (hopefully) stop that is that police work today is much better than 50 years ago
@@TheMarslMcFly i disagree. the local police work probably has gotten worse tbh
Considering there are modern women still simpimg for him despite knowing he was a serial killer is everything you need to know
Your use of “Im sure they are feeling very vulnerable right now”had perfect timing and so well said lol
9:00 Security existed but wasn't as draconian. You kept all your clothes on. Could bring as much liquid as you wanted. Leatherman or swiss army was ok to carry. Lighters/matches too. Only thing they really checked for was guns or explosive devices. No ID was required and you only showed the gate agent your boarding pass. You could see off or welcome a traveler at the gate.
I was too poor to fly before 9/11, but kinda wish now that I could xD
That's how it is in germany at the moment, ngl it's awesome and I don't want to fly to the USA at all.
And you could still smoke in the airports!!
@@donaldgminski8621 in a smoking booth i hope, otherwise eewwwww.
@@donaldgminski8621 Banning smoking on the planes was in place in the 90's but you could at least carry your smokes and lighter. Smoking in the airports was public opinion and you knew it only a matter of time.
The anime with the shower scene is "Prison School", and I would absolutely watch the shit out of you react to it. Plenty of thumbnail material. Add Susu and/or Kai and make it even better
Prison school is so hilarious.

Prison high school is one of the funniest anime out there.
Kai has definitely already watched the entire thing, or at the very least read.
No way this one slipped her fingers.
14:41 This was a commercial for a sports stadium. The girls have hoarse voices because they've been shouting while watching games at the stadium. The guy sleeps with the only girl with a normal voice, and finds out later that her voice is normal because she doesn't watch games. (One of those commercials where the execution was more memorable than the product being advertised.)
You both seem very happy, it's been a while since I've been online life's been hard, I'm really enjoying the clips though thanks alot.🔥🔥😁

Henry thought it was a shark, not a plane.
I will leave a like.. never miss a show .. another awesome one.. thanks for making me smile 😁😊
This channel is awesome, I love you guys.
Yeah, TSA is just security circus. It does nothing. That's why no one else has it that bad.
You clearly haven't flown in that many other countries, basically all of NATO implemented the same level of "security" as we did.
everyone is slowly copying the TSA. It's sad, travelling is an ordeal now.
@@MadsterV At least the damn masks are gone. I'm not even super anti mask but 8 hours a day at my work with quite a few breaks to take it off was bad enough. 15 hour flight was miserable.
It's called security theater. The odds of something bad happening to you on a flight are pretty minuscule. It's just that the news gives a disproportionate amount of coverage to plane hijackings and bombings (and terrorism in general). So the general public's assessment of the risk from flying is incorrectly skewed high. TSA's job is just to skew it back down to something more proportional to the real risk, so we're not afraid of flying (you're far more likely to be killed if you drive). TSA doesn't need to be effective, it just needs to get people to think it's effective.
@@solandri69 well it's not working
8:26 goddamn my man is smooth with it. Henry is the rizzler himself.
16:03 I love the way Henry says it😂, “Fu-too-nAri”👌
Just saw an Assassins Creed Mirage ad for October 12, during your show. Thanks from Panama city Beach, FL
Pre-9/11, airport security was handled by private sector contractors (e.g. Wackenhut) hired by the airport. Post-9/11, security was Federalized into the TSA.
Which is a complete fuck-up, just like everything else the federal government touches.
For some reason, the word "Federalize" just sounds super aggressive. Ima federalize your ass.
@@gingerbread_GB Technically the government is federalizing our asses with more taxes and more authoritarian laws.
@@gingerbread_GB About right for TSA gropings after the nut job tried to detonate his shoes in-flight.

Airports prior to the TSA somewhat resembled what youd see in some 80's romcoms where you could casually go around any commonplace without incident up to the actual boarding corridors.

Ireland is not in the UK

Northern Ireland is part of the uk but the the Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪 is not part of the the uk a lot of people get this mixed up
airport security was individualized to the airports before 9/11. generally a city would build the airport, much like stadiums for sports. this meant that in places like Oakland there was security just like TSA in its early days with metal detectors and ID checks that were government employees. in most other airports you could just walk up the gate and watch the planes take off for fun, like going to the zoo. this helped big airlines make a lot of money as it made competition harder, but as people did stupid stuff and more rules were added people were less willing to fly, which means that the airlines have been in and out of bankruptcy a few times since then.
YAAAS was that eurovision representation on mxr? I need a whole series now
16:05 Back in the 90s and 2000s there was a rumor that if you drink too much mountain dew it would sterilize you. It's true, but the amount you would need to drink is astronomical and would kill you from other health issues first.
4:24 Looked it up, because this is unreal by European standards, and it's partially true: it's a food-safe *_colour-enhancer_* instead, not a dye. I.e. it makes them look more vibrantly coloured, it's not actually dying them.
So, it wouldn't add pigment but it would alter the way existing colour 'shines' through?
@@derianvandalsen Sort of; basically, natural colours fade over time, but you sometimes can revive them somewhat. This is because natural colours are very susceptible to physical and chemical effects. This wash brings back the vibrancy of the potato's existing colour.
Are you talking about the mud getting washed off the potatoes or something else they referred to?
And now they look like sweet potatoes
@@rogerwalker2224 Yep! He's talking about the mud wash. If you ever grow a garden, your red potatoes will not look like the ones in the store because the store bought ones are washed with a chemical that acts like the stuff you can buy to restore the color on your car's rubber and plastic. Different chemicals, same concept.
The animation at 12:59 is from a manga called "Prison school" at least that is what the books were called i didn't know there was a legit animated version. I read books 1-5 and i can say it's a solid 9/10. lots of slootieness for Henry to enjoy.
ma man how didnt you know about the anime
13:03 My mom did this kind of work. She started in construction but did all sorts of electrical, roofing, plumbing, and other stuff in that field.
taking a plane used to be like taking a cross country train ride, like amtrack. buy the ticket, show up at the check in, wait to board, board, then fly. Also, you used to be able to access just about everywhere in and around the airport. when i was little by dad would take me to the end of one of the runways to watch planes buzz past a few dozen feet overhead. do that now and you get the swat team called on you.
Before 9/11 there was still airport security -- but it was run by the local airport, not a federal bureaucracy. You still had to go through screening, etc.
But there weren't power tripping fools who screwed people over.
You also only went through a metal detector and if you couldn't figure out why it's going off they'd just wand you with the handheld.
i been enjoying your content for years, and left tons of likes!Apparently i wasn't subbed so just fixed that, and to make up for lost time, also ordered a ridge wallet xD I always wondered though: what exactly is Jeannie singing in the outtro song?
Dig a tunnel. Dig, dig a tunnel. From Lion King 1 1/2.
I just stumbled on to tour videos. Good stuff! And jeannie.........gorgeous.
Before 9/11, we could walk all the way to the gate with our family leaving or meet then coming off the plane. Used to love picking up my mom at the airport or watching the plane take off when it left as a kid.
Before 911 when your girlfriend/wife needed a ride to the airport you were expected to walk to the gate with her and keep her company until her flight left (and usually expected to keep standing there as the plane backed out so she could see you waving to her from the window) because there was no security and literally anybody could walk to the gates anytime they wanted. When she was flying back, you were expected to be waiting at the gate for her to deplane. Also, there were Hare Krisha's and other religious representatives walking around the terminals asking for donations since airport security wasn't allowed to kick them out as airports were considered public places.
Now there's no one asking for donations inside and you can drop the girlfriend/wife at the curb.
People don't actually say "deplane" back then. We said "Disembark". :)
@@arkain1I still hear disembark
I always like what you guys do love you both
I remember having family reunions and meeting my aunts, uncles and cousins as they got off the plane.
Flying pre-9/11 was great and even better the further back you go. They used to server gourmet food on many airlines, top shelf beverages, sure they could smoke too but it just had a better feel like even commercial had a luxury feel.
Before 9/11, to fly, all you really had to do was do the check in at the desk, get your tickets, and go through the security check (similar to how it is with TSA, but was much quicker without having to strip off your shoes, wallet, phone, belt, ect.... Some airports didn't have security checks either. It was pretty much an open space where you could go wherever you wanted to go.
Aaaah . Things were so much better. I was a young lad of what .. 5 springs. My mother send me alone in the caribeean in advance at my grandma. First travel. First real time alone. Well it wasn t so much, i don t remember most of it. But too bad we ll never get a world when parents could send their kids alone in advance by fly in total security
2:04 That escalated quickly. And if I recall correctly, it de-escalated pretty quickly too.

Yes, before 9/11 I flew lots of places and my family walked right up to the departure and it was the boarding pass (back them an actual piece of paper) that got you on the plane. We greeted people we knew right at the gate when people got off the plane. ahh. simpler times.

Voice thing reminded me of one of my friends. For some reason his voice didn't change when he was a boy and 15 years later i was walking in park and saw him walking towards me, he got into bodybuilding and was massive, we kinda recognize each other and suddenly this mountain of a man say "hello man, i would have never thought we meet again" but his voice is high pitched and it is a voice of maybe 8-10 years old boy. Good thing is that he is such a nice guy that nobody even ever mocked him for this.

13:00 - Ive seen this one. I think its called "Prison School". I literally cried laughing at that scene
pre- 9/11 airport security was very different. there WAS a federal security guideline, but the rules were a lot less restrictive. on September 4th, 2001 I flew from Knoxville Tn to NYC, then was on a shuttle to Newark NJ, where I flew to San Francisco Ca. I had 2 full size Leatherman tools on my belt, and a folding knife with a 3.875" blade ( Buck 110 hunter) in my pocket and was not stopped. I did remove them, and put them in the inspection tray, but was able to pass through with out issue. 7 days later, the rules changed forever.

For your question about airport security TSA, I used to work as a skycap 6 months before the 9/11 attacks. At that time, all airport security was done through private security companies. Just like the people you see outside of banks and shopping centers. Back in those days, anybody could walk into the airport and go straight to the gate and wave goodbye to their loved ones flying away. Now, if you don't have a ticket, you aren't getting through. To end the story, I ended up working for the private security before TSA took over in October of 2002, then I ended up working for TSA for 4 years. LOL
