Outro: • MxR Plays - Jeannie - ...
BGM: davidcuttermusic.com/ - Komedie
Awhile back, you guys asked if you had any boomer fans. You have at least 1. I'm a 68 y/o retired guy who needs a daily dose of MxR Plays. Henry is entertaining, but Jeannie is adorability defined. Thanks guys for making my day, on a daily basis.
Excellent comment.
Excellent support of an excellent comment 😊👍
I'm 70 and I think Jeannie carries the videos. 💯
And dang, at 61, I thought I was the oldest...
Based, I'm gonna be you if I live that long. (Take care of yourself)
Where is the outtro 😢
🎶 Dig a tunnel, dig, dig a tunnel 🎶
This time they didn't want to encourage people to dig tunnels.
.... diiiggy diiiiggy hooooole , diiiiggiiin a hoooole ! 🎶🎶🎶🎶
(sorry different song )
"Alright, thats it for interesting."
"OuoUHuhEauH!"
They have put the song in the video descriptions
in new york and about to commit crimes against humanity
The jarring end with no outtro is just eerie. Singing in my head, dig a tunnel...🎶
I volunteered for the Imperial War Museum when that recording was published. It highlighted a rather interesting thing, where birds aren't affected by war. They continue about their business, and the birds chirping was seen as iconic in that regard as it recorded what the soldiers immediately noticed themselves.
There is something beautiful in that, I think.
( 28:04 ) Ravens, crows, and magpies are all part of the Corvid family. Known for being very smart, using tools, and sometimes mimicking human speech like a parrot.
And . . . they are able to solve a 7 part puzzle similar to what was shown, in order to get to the food.
Corvid... I would make a joke here but I know the younger internet is going to turn it into another modern myth, pyramids by aliens, North Koreans live a good life, the earth is flat or round(its neither)
well as long as its only the three birds, we dont want the to be 19 in the corvid family 😅
I heard a magpie imitate a police siren. It would sound nuts if you heard a siren seconds before getting swooped.
The difference between a crow and a raven all comes down to the number of flights feathers (pinion feathers) a crow has 15 while a raven has 16. So it's really just a matter of a pinion
John Tyler had a child born when he was 70 years old. He was getting it on whilst being that old, thats one reason why he has a still living grandson
The men of his family are also long lived. He had 2 grandsons in 2020, one passed that year, at the age of 96 or so
The Son who still has a living Son was Born when he was 63, but that son had the living son when he was 75! They liked to keep having children way into their latter years back then.
yeah my first thought was that each generation would have be long lived and have the next while in their 60s/70s
Proving that gold digging sloots were a thing even back then. Does anyone have the age of the mothers?
@@SarthorS I could put the links to the wikipedia page for the 10th president and his son and grandson here, but its not that hard to do that yourself to find the ages of the mothers.
On my first trip to New York City, I saw three Starbucks on opposite corners of a traffic intersection.
Ravens are bigger than crows, their tailfeathers form different shapes, their beaks differ in size, different migratory patterns.
Corvid Council Approves this comment.
Plus, ravens are cool while crows are annoying.

Imagining the horse having a Steve Irwin accent; "hey look at this weird nest. If you peak roit in here you'll see one of the most dangerous creatures on the planet; the tall monkey. Lucky for me, tall monkeys have treats, so I'm gonna lean ever so slightly on this nest and see if I can wake them up".

I have bad news for you Henry. The „FOAB“ is a normal thing in warfare - it is a thermobaric explosion that pretty much destroys everything including bunkers. And yes it is „allowed“ … as much as the other things are allowed at least.
I mean, ai aimed lasers to blind the enemy aren't allowed, so there definitely is a distinction
@@KeithElliott-zd8cx There are things that are considered cruel, that most agree not to use (because you don't want those to be used on your troops as well).
However, when it comes to things that kill instantly... most are allowed.
And you people think anyone cares about what is allowed? It's war, people will use everything. Look at russians constantly using prohibited weapons on Ukraine. It's war last thing you care if some guy in suit put stamp under your weapon. You people need to stop being naive, war is brutal not romantic, there are absolutely no rules.
@@KeithElliott-zd8cx Lasers wouldn't be allowed because they are specifically intended to maim and not kill or incapacitate.
Similar to how a soldier can use a normal bayonet to stab an enemy combatant but if they use a serrated bayonet, it becomes a war crime.

The water slide in the shark pool at 1:35 is at atlantis in the bahamas. Went last year with my wife to celebrate her being pregnant with our first child. It has a long line but it's worth the wait. I would recommend it.
28:40 this double murder became the inspiration for a song titled I don't like mondays by a band named "The Boom Town Rats" the kead singer was Bob Geldof.
10:29 You want to know more about flies? Jeff Goldblum in 'The Fly.' Worth the watch... Don't mind the horror tag, it's purely educational. ;)
A great Christmas movie for the whole family to enjoy.
The film itself is a masterpiece... but its one rare film I will never ever watch again.
I see what your doing here!
12:42 I watch his channel, Outdoor Boys, hes actually really smart with survival and does a lot of camping, hiking and fishing. Definitely deserves recognition.
It's impressive what Luke can do
He’s a cool dude. I love watching his videos, very informative.
Honestly, i think that dementia restaurant would have been a great idea for my grandmother who had high functioning dementia, meaning that they could still function at almost a normal capacity with a little supervision. It is only in the later stages that they start losing more and more memory until they forget how to speak and lose all but their basic motor skills. And because none of our family lived near her they had to put her into a home with a bunch of people that couldn't even wipe their own butt let alone talk. Which honestly was a literal hell for my very sociable grandmother who decided to refuse to take medication and un-alived herself 2 weeks ago rather than devolve into a mindless shell. I honestly think that if she would have gotten involved in a program like this she might still be around.
6:10 In Belgium, they made this same concept into a TV show, with the same goal - to raise awareness for people with dementia. It’s called “Restaurant Misverstand” (or, “Restaurant Misunderstanding”). It’s on VRT, one of the public broadcast channels (similar to PBS, BBC and NHK)
Henry, for the huge moon, it happens when you use a large zoom lens or a lens with a long focal length because the lens has a narrow angle of view and compresses the foreground (temple) and background (moon). It basically squishes everything together even if these things aren't close together.
Plus the moon IS big. The only reason it seems so big is because it's near the horizon where you have reference points to properly judge size (trees, mountains, buildings). The sun does the same, when it's high in the sky it looks small, but at sunset it seems a lot bigger.
@@dimitri877 True, perspective is everything, though the lens's effect helps.
@@lidge1994 I think you're confusing a term here; the effect of a long focal length is a greater depth of field (more of the entire photo is in focus). You could call it compressed, but optics don't compress anything. No matter the viewing angle or focal length.
The job of a camera lens is not to distort images (compression is distortion), that's why the better ones are so expensive.
28:40 Bob Geldof, who did Band Aid and Live Aid (he was the one who said the speech at the beginning of the We Are The World recording), his bands hit song ‘I don’t like Mondays’ was all about that. They were called The Boomtown Rats, thats how he was famous and knew musicians etc
Also came here to say this☝
Also, doesn't it have something to do with the saying "Sweet FA"? Which meant sweet Fanny Adams, who was a girl that hated Mondays and killed people? And they banned the song for a while? 🤔🤔 I may be wrong somewhere lol

Back in the 1970's in high school biology, we used to cut the head of a planeria into segments, so that when they'd regenerate, they would be multi-headed, and have only the one tail, to make a hydra worm. Yeah, we were weird kids in Palo Alto, California. And BTW, no Dig A Tunnel, and not even an ending?
I am glad to see you two are still doing this. Been busy with work so havent been on youtube for a while. Keep it up guys

13:42 - Bullets are slow enough to watch them fly through the air, too, it's just that you rarely have the right angle for the light to catch them. The tank shell is big enough to see so long as it's daylight. And yes, they all move that fast.
My guilty pleasure is watching figure skating. I do also have 'the hardest hits in rugby' saved, but I like that you appreciate the gyrations.
Technically both Ravens and Crows of the genus (Corvus) are both Ravens, with (Corvus) being the Latin for Raven. Crow is a Onomatopoeic name, a name based on the sound that is makes, Crow, Crow, Crow, the scientific name (Corvus corone) translates as Crow raven. Same with the Rook Onomatopoeic name Rook, Rook, Rook, scientific name (Corvus frugilegus) translates as Fruit-gathering raven. Common raven scientific name (Corvus corax) translates as Raven raven in two tongues, Corvus (Latin), Corax (Ancient Greek).
13:40 I'm pretty sure that's a tow missile or something similar. Definitely too large and slow to be a tank shell.

VERY INTERESTING but what happened to adam and eve?
Well, after they ate from the tree of life, the Lord kicked them out of the Garden and then they had to make their own way in the world. Or did you mean something else?
Asking the real questions.
I am shocked as well. They probably didn't have an exclusivity deal, but they might have just lost Adam and Eve by this move. Maybe they had a contract for multiple ads with Adam and Eve and it ended. Then maybe they signed a better deal with this company... maybe they are just seeing what happens.
Eve was made as a companion for Adam in Eden. Some time after her creation The Serpent who had desired Eve attempted to rap her, however thanks to the intervention of two birds, the girl managed to escape. Soon after Eve found herself on trial for consuming fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, accused by the Serpent who used a forged evidence. Despite her pleas that she was innocent, the gods ruled her guilty, as with most cases with mortals, and was exiled to Earth.
Adam showed his loyalty to his wife by forcing his way into the courtroom and consuming several apples from the Tree of Knowledge in front of the gods. The two resolved to make a new paradise for themselves. The two humans would become parents to Cain and Abel, among others, becoming the progenitors of mankind.
God punished them for their sin
07:00 - Also people go to the pop up shop with expectation their order may wrong, the customer before entering or going to the shop has been primed for that possibility. It's a weird sort of Gacha.

Synthetic sleeping bags can just be randomly stuffed into the bag, they don’t need to go in any special way.
But they won't fit...
Of cause they do. I do that all the time. The compressed volume doesn't magically increase if you stuff it vs. roll it. @@gaztellprime
Most of the sleeping bag's volume is air - the insulation expands trapping air inside. To get it to fit in the bag, you have to squeeze most of the air out. Due to the size of the sleeping bag, when you let go of one part to squeeze the air out of another part, the first part expands again. When you roll a sleeping bag, you're using the fabric to hold squeezed the parts you've already squeezed the air out of, freeing up your hands to squeeze air out of the rest. The concept is probably easier to visualize when you deflate a floating pool mattress. (If you want to fit it in the bag in any random way, put it inside a plastic garbage bag, then use a vacuum cleaner hose to suck the air out of it. For that matter, this works on any sort of clothing if you really want to pack your suitcase full.)
Rolling works. Literally stuffing also works. Just keep stuffing it in, it fits.
@@solandri69 Except that the outside of the bag is usually so slippery it's more difficult to keep it in the rolled shape while studying it into the bag. Just grab a handful and shove it into the bag. The tightness of the bag will keep the air out of it.
That wasn't a 'tank shell' missing its target, it was an anti-tank missile.
I freeze framed it and it was a fairly fat object so not a sabot round, perhaps a HEAT round? They have lower velocity. Without downloading the video and counting the frames I'd say for 1/4 of a second the object is visible from 50m away? Doing the math that's 720 Km/h, way too slow for a shell. Yeah its probably a missile
@@CommandLineCowboy I saw the original video when it was posted on a Ukraine War reddit channel some time ago. It was titled as a 'near miss by an anti-tank missile'. Probably not a Javelin, as those are guided and rarely miss. But there are a number of other types of AT missiles that are not guided, only aimed, and those often miss.
@@CommandLineCowboy any semi-modern tank shell, be that HEAT, Sabot or HE will all travel fast enough to have a significant sonic boom when they pass. thusly this can only be some kind of anti-tank missile
It did remind me of this video though: XbJ_r2DUbK4
One thing it is missing compared to that video is the condensation behind the projectile or payload (or missile. In some cases missile, payload and projectile are used interchangeably, like when talking about a stone projectile thrown by a trebuchet!)
Yep, Eastern block tanks can fire missiles. They are laser-guided, so the likelihood to miss is a little higher I guess.

That is a water slide at Aquaventure Park at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.
That snow shelter video is a channel called Outdoor Boys. He does adventures with his kids and alone where he survives and makes bushcraft shelters, or hot tent camps in various extreme climates (as well as not so extreme) and demonstrates how survival is possible in these temperatures and how to build things like shelters, beds, and much more. It's pretty cool. He also makes a lot of food that can be carried along with him, or makes whole meals while out there in the camping scenarios.

Planaria were part of why I got an A+ in public speaking in high school back in 1973 (!) I was given "worms" as the topic for an improvised speech. I mentioned that tapeworms could live inside of you (yechh), that earthworms in Australia and Colombia could get up to three feet long, and that planaria could be split apart and still live. But what aced the grade was: I had, completely by accident, earlier in the day written a song parody about *worms* to the tune of "Downtown" by Petula Clark---it was called "Green Guts," and it got me my only A+.

8:07 *Jeannie:* "Hold on, how is the Moon that big?"
They're in Castlevanialand. The Moon is _always_ that big in Castlevanialand! That's why so many vampires and werewolves live there. 😁
3:05 same happened when I let my friend (who is a hunter) play The Hunter Call of the Wild. He was like "ok so we have gun XY and ammo XY, this wind and this distance, this male deer XY years, ok so let me aim for this spot and bam" - he got everything with the first hit, meanwhile I needed to grind 50 hours in the game and reddit guides to get at least close to that performance 😅Very cool to see the practical experience transfer into the simulators
8:07 It's also because the moon looks a lot bigger when it's close to the horizon. I think there might be more to it than being an optical illusion, maybe it's to do with the atmosphere and perspective, or in other words maybe in a way it magnifies the moon? As thick as the atmosphere is and it being rounded I don't see why it couldn't have a magnifying effect similar to a drop of fluid but on a much larger scale where it takes a lot more air to have that effect compared to only a drop of water.
I suppose you're seeing the moon through more air that way compared to if it's straight up from where you are, besides that you're also seeing it from a perspective where it's hitting the atmosphere straight-on, versus from a steep angle. Think of what happens when you look at things through a magnifying glass and how it warps as you view something straight-on versus as it gets closer to the edge, besides moving it forward and back and whatnot. But it's mostly an optical illusion I think.
I dont think i have missed a video in the last 2 years. Im enjoying the new half hour format but i go through withdrawls on the days with no videos haha

That dementia restaurant is very sweet and noble, but I can't imagine a customer being too glad if they get something they are allergic to, that would put a damper on the meal.
Also, elderly with dementia in the kitchen scares me for safety reasons, even if they have healthy young cooks in there helping out.
That body positive camp looks like it must attract a ton of voyeurs, but I am supportive of a place for women to enjoy themselves without judgement.
