I bought a pair of these nearly two years ago (listening to them right now) and I still love them. It's really nice to see an honest review that does them justice.
+Patrick Banahan Awesome man! I've owned my pair for over half a year now and once I put them on, I just never wanna take them off :-) Just an outstanding product overall.
had mine for 3 years now and I have no regrets, most pleasurable sound response , pretty much indestructible and amazing portability. One of my ear cups had "broken" off before from the cable getting stuck in a door and continuing walking, turns out it just snapped back in.
+KoolioJosh Haha, that just goes to show the build quality on these bad boys! Wow since you've had these for 3 years, then you've pretty much had them since they first came out huh?
I wear mine like 12 hours a day everyday cause I'm either playing video games, watching videos or studying with music and I love them. These are super comfy even stock you won't really need the xl cushion ear cups unless you have really big ears. I got mine at the beginning of last year for 160$ and these are still the best I've had, but the speakeasy mic cable has a really crappy button which broke, but the cable still works fine
Delivered a month ago, and have used them for 3 weeks with their regular inline cable and standard ear cushions. They sounded awesome, really, miles better than my broken-in, reliable, lively Bose. Followed advice to upgrade to their XL cushions, now standard on their new wireless cans i believe, and also bought a direct cable from V-MODA. Shame they don't produce an orange inline cable to match the inside of my 'Stealth' box, so had to settle for red, which, whilst producing a clearer throughput, look a bit 'beats' :-(. The XL pads take nothing away from the sound, but give added comfort, and deep space and soundscape. And oh the BASS. Just SO defined, no limit to the bottom, no vibrations (other than your heart&soul weeping with joy), and yet middle and treble are there in abundance. These really are the business.
Excellent review. Well organized, good depth, without being too long, and a mixture of objective facts and subjective observations. I was planning to purchase the wireless M100s anyway, but your video still served as good validation.
Thank you for making this video, I've been looking at the wireless for a birthday present to myself since my in-ears crapped out, They caught my eye as having all the features I wanted and great reviews. The more I see of these, the more I'm sold on getting them. So, Thank you for helping me decide on a great pair of headphones to get!
Thanks for letting me know that my headphone comes with life time trading option. I have this M-100 for the last 4 years and the sound quality still feels like new, if not better.
Just picked up a pair! Premium packaging, smaller footprint than I expected but that a good thing. Solid construction you feel the weight in your hands when you take them out the case! Another good thing being you drop $260. All accessories are quality. The sound will revive your iTunes library, I found myself skipping through songs just to hear how the 100's improved playback quality. Clarity, depth, and great soundstage for each song. The higher quality the production the better these cans perform! Last but not least the bass! The bass has another gear and will drop to the lowest low for songs programmed to do so. My old Sony DJ headphones did not have that gear so in a way I wasn't hearing the bass songs the way they were meant to be heard. R&B, Hip Hop, Rock & Roll, Reggae, Pop, Dance, Dub, you name it sounds better here!
Wayne, your detailed review is so good I should just hand you the mic and let you do the videos from now on! Great to hear you're enjoying the M100s as much as I do :-)
Revisiting these headphones after only messing with them 2 years ago from a friend makes me glad I exchanged my Studio 2 Wireless for these. My Crossfade LP's were already amazing but these take the cake in terms of headphones that sound fun but are also accurate in terms of detail. The added durability ensures these as DJ-worthy headphones too, if the numerous artists using these in concerts isn't enough of an indicator.
Two years later still use these Vmoda m100's for pc gaming and music going out in public gym mountain bike treks ect the material just does not seem to degrade best purchase ever :)
Presentation and sound quality of the video is excellent, and the review very informative. If I hadn't already ordered these, this video would have made my mind up
Perfect Review! Got these Headphones for myself today and im totally blown away. I think for 200€ this is the best Investment I did so far. For DJ'ing it's in my opinion one of the best headphones you can buy. And like you recommended I got the XL Pads aswell which made the headphone even better!
Woooo! That's what I like to hear. The M100s to this day are my go-to headphone for everything, gaming, working out, and of course music listening. They're so easy to just fold up and throw into a bag. I don't even use the hardshell case :P
Awesome review. I already did my research on V Moda and didn't need to see a review but I just wanted to watch one to remind myself why i ordered mine. It should arrive by the end of this week. I have the Crossfade LP and they've lasted over 2 years now but I found the M-100's with a BoomPro Mic for $200 online during online Black Friday shopping. I'm excited for it and I'll be selling my LP's soon enough.
I’m not an expert or an Audiophile but the sound on these are amazing , I bought them for gaming and casual music . Everything sounds more crisp and punchy and the detail is incredible compared to my Astro A50s
This is what i call a review!!! Well done man, well done! Nice review! I currently own a bose qc3 ( best for me so far) but after that maybe i will go and try this :) your video helped a lot! Keep up the quality work!!!
Awesome review! I have the M100s in Shadow for about 7 months now, and have to agree the XL Memory Cushion changes the way I feel about these heaphones. Can't complain really :)
quick note for you they are noise isolating but they're not closed back headphones the slits along the back of each cup are openings that allow the headphones to have the semi-open lively sound that would otherwise sound like a flat mess.
He has absolutely no perspective. He seriously compares these to Bose and Beats. What a joke. Also, with a headphone review you basically HAVE to compare to other headphones in order to get a baseline. These aren't the best sounding, most well-constructed headphones ever made. They might be good but it's not a fair review or even credible for that matter.
Hey man I just ordered these off amazon, I used them a few years back and loved them but I thought maybe I had them overhyped since its been so long since I last used them but this video sold them for me :) they come in 4 days in so excited, the last headphones I had/have are my monster DNAs and N-tune on ears, so I don't know what to expect this time around but I'm extremely pumped
Wow that is so awesome to hear bro!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, I still use them everyday for gaming and working out. Still holding up nicely even though I pretty much abuse them haha. Keep me updated once you get them in your hands.
Great review. Straight to the point with the needed detail. I've just ordered a pair, but annoyingly have to wait two days before they arrive. No Flac for me until then. :o(
Appreciate it and nice pickup with that headphone amp. Could you share a little more about the difference the amp makes? Would love to hear your thoughts.
+ODi Productions The amp definitely makes a great difference, I can push them to their full potential. The Bass sounds amazing and much stronger! With no distortion (depending on the song) the mids sounds even clearer and a bit louder. The amp has 2 settings low/high switch and on/off bass switch. When turning on the bass switch it makes the bass more punchy without washing away the mids. It is truly great and I suggest this amp to everyone!
just got these for Christmas and am about to try them for the first time! Super pumped up, looking forward to it. Where do you find the memory foam pads?
Oh, so after all I'm not a weirdo who, after comparing all the brands in the world, picked the V-Moda Crossfade M100, which I've never heard of before. Glad to hear 😅👍 Nice review.
hey imyerik go for it. ive used tma-aiaiai, pioneer hdjs, bose ae and oe, audio technicas and I would rate this on par with the bose oe with tank built.
I used these for a little over a year as my main computer headphones/headset with the v-moda boom mic, and for my 3-4 hours of bus/train commute to and from work each day. The case is absolutely incredible! They fold down super small and the case protects them from serious amounts of abuse. After almost 2 years of ownership now, I'm still 100% confident that I made the perfect choice.
I have combined the Vmoda Crossfade M100 with the M-Audio amplifier in combination with my Sony Experia Z5. The sound is Amazing. Thanks for the honest review.
that was an amazing review,i'am watching it second time all bcoz i love this headphone more than anything,ur review feeeeels rly grt.....wishing u grt sucess as a utuber....
+ThaRedPitbull Haha. Only every single day with my PS4 :P They do a good job, but make sure you pick up the XL Memory Cushions for hours of comfortable wear.
Owned a pair for a couple of years now, they do sound great but: 1. The plastic around the upper left cable connection has cracked open. How's that for "Military-grade durability"? 2. The left cable on mine is routed differently to the right cable suggesting poor quality control. 3. The "XL" pads are an improvement but still uncomfortably thin, I'd recommend skipping them and going for Wicked pads which are actually thick. 4. The ear cups are too small period, any pad will rest on the ear lobes rather then surrounding them which makes soreness inevitable.
Great review... i have been planning to buy this since last year. watching avg consumer for reviews. but at last a new review came which is you and honestly your review are really good and clear. keep doing headphones review like sennheiser and etc.and surely you can probably top avgconsumer.... im going to subscribe you men. RESPECT
+Paul Tiu THANK YOU!! Really appreciate that feedback Paul. I actually have a pair of Sennheisers coming in tomorrow that I'll be reviewing soon :-) PS. I briefly mentioned the custom plates but I wish I had an example to show on video lol
+ODi Productions no problem men! just keep up this good work and surely it will lead you to success. And i dare you to make a review with sol republic tracks hd XD. well im not sure if its a bad headphone but there are people barely reviewing sol republic so hopefully you can bring one up. Thanks!
Just got some M50X 2 days ago after listening through 15+ different headphones. Of course there were better ones, but the price tag also was way above my budget. As I was looking for a closed back hp, the M50X were isolating from the surroundings really well, but still very comfortable, even with wearing glasses. The sound is balanced and detailed with no frequency range heading out. They're really versatile and are well built and I appreciate the 3 cables that came with it. I like them a lot!
I bought VModa M100 like 4 years ago and added the boom pro later. This is the best gaming headset ever. I wore this for daily commuting but after a while, I noticed that this is a lot more usefull for gaming. The surround sound is incredible (software emulated). I switched to bluetooth solution for commuting.
I used to own a pair of Beats, they broke in 2-3 months. I've had my Crossfade LP2's for 5 years, and the leather on the headband is just now starting to peel off. I have my custom M-100's on the way, and I can't wait for them to arrive!
What an excellent review! Most people don't say anything about the clamping force and earcups for example. It's the details that also make your reviews great :) And one more thing I would like to know.... a lot of people on forums etc, keep comparing these to the m50x a lot. What makes me wonder is how these two compare in sound quality. The vmodas are ofcourse better in every way but how would you compare the sound quality beween these two? Unfortunetly I can't try these out myself because they are nowhere to find xD
+Danté Thank you Dante!! Glad you enjoyed this video as well :-) So I actually A/B'd the M100s and M50x the other day and came up with some positive feedback for both. Upon first impressions, I was definitely impressed at the sound of the M50x at $100 less than the M100s (current market prices). What surprised me the most was that the bass performance was just as good as the M100s, albeit a little boomier and not as punchy (I prefer punch). Now, the difference between the two reveals itself more and more over time. Want to know where the biggest difference lies? It's in the highs and separation. The highs and separation on the M100s is so rich that it makes the M50x's sound cheap in comparison. Every reverb, echo, background vocal, sound effect, is made so clear and precise through the M100s that you can listen to each layer individually. If the M50x are the BMW M3, then the M100s are the Porsche 911. It's just in a different class.
i focus mainly on dj'ing and studio use. should I get the ATH M-40x to focus mainly on the studio use or should I get the m100's for balanced use in both category's?
I've heard at the moment you apply the xl pads your mentioned pressure even increases due to the bigger size of the pads. I don't get why the Pressure of the Clamps should be decreased or just declined by pads which are more soft.
+ODi Productions You know I had to get the XL pads. Please do a DJ headphone review and please get the pioneer hdj 2000 and compaire them to the M100, M50x and beats studio. That's would be a great video cause all those are base headphones
Haha, my man! Yeah I couldn't imagine using the stock earcups for more than 20 mins tbh. But with the XLs, whew... I can use those all day. Thanks for the suggestion, those Pioneers look sweet. If you haven't see it already, I did a comparison between the V-Modas and the Beats Studio here: czcams.com/video/WJycrupbTZ8/video.html
For initial testing, just an iPhone and laptop. Those drove the M100s very effectively. Results may vary, I know Samsung phones in general have lesser output, but the impedance is low enough to not really matter too much
I have verry sensitive jaws were they tingle easley. Would these be an issue if I purchase the pads. I had a pair of skull trash crushers and not only did they sound like garbage. But they were to tight. The sony xb950b1 were really comfortable. So iam wanting these but scared to pull the trigger. Thanks
Do the vmoda crossfade wireless sound as good as these? I'm definitely a basshead who listens to mostly hip hop. I do listen to metal occasionally (pantera, white zombie, etc) will I enjoy these?
I've been looking for a pair of sound isolating/cancelling. I tried a friends M100s but bought the QC25. However, I decided that I missed the quality and sound of the Vmodas so I returned the Bose and bought these.
hey guys, can you help me, I'm thinking if I should buy skullcandy crushers, sony xb950bt, sennseiher 4.40bt or to save up some more money for v moda m100 ? I'm listening to edm the most,I'm looking for clear sound,a punchy bass and a good noise isolation which would you recommend?
as someone who is planning on getting a pair for my console, where would the Mic for communication be located since I don't believe I see it on the earcup
While I love my m-100's and the sound they have, they have disappointed me on a couple of occasions. First, I bought a refurbished pair of them from amazon and the headband adjustment mechanism didn't click, making it slip and slide everywhere. I was really disappointed with this, so I sent it back to the seller. My second pair I bought new and I enjoyed them for less than a month before the audio cut out on one side. I don't know what the issue was, but I played audio through both 3.5mm inlets and no sound came out of the left ear cup. This time, I sent them to V-Moda for their warranty service. They took every bit of that 1-3 weeks they cite for repair time, getting my headphones 3 weeks and a day after I had sent it off to them. Finally, they had the left ear cup rotated 360 degrees, making the cable from the headband to the ear cup not lay symmetrical to the right ear cup. I waited a good month before I even decided to mess with it. Ultimately, I took my own headphones apart so that I could fix the cable issue. Now, I have them at 100%, which is satisfying. However, I hate the amount of work I had to put into them in order to get them where I can enjoy them. I still have a nagging thought at the back of my head that these headphones will fuck up somehow. Their build quality is solid, which is why it comes to a surprise to me that the product has it's problems. I don't want to say everyone's V-Moda experience has been/is/will be the same as mine, but I can't give them 10/10 on their product, even though their sound is 10/10.
Excuse me, and can be installed with the wireless my samsung tv wireless? sorry for my English I have a cochlear implant for 2 years and I am deaf, I live only for 4 years in California. Thank you so much, Mauro
7:20 I have the same thing that they sound way better when you turn up the volume and the bass starts to unfold. But as I'm becoming older and the first signs of Tinnitus start to show I don't want to turn up the volume. Isn't it possible to have the same amount of bass on lower volumes?
Design is important, although i'm more sennheiser type audio, but I have 3pcs of V-moda series because how they look. Headphones makers should learn from M100!
i think all headphone reviews should be like yours. Its just so detailed and good bro. Anyways I have a question. I have both the vmoda m100 and ATH M50x . Both has been burned in for about 50hours+ and I've been listening to the both of them and comparing them for a while now. The athm50x for me is a little clearer but the vmoda m100s have better bass (not just in loudness but also overall punch and thump) I listen pretty much to every genre: rock, classical, edm, hiphop, alternative, pop. and right now the athm50x sounds better for me. so my question is, will the vmoda m100s will get better with longer burn in time? i really love the sound signature of the m100s i just want them to be a little bit clearer. if they have the clarity of the ath m50x im currently listening to along with its good bass then id use them more.
+Neil Manalo Hey Neil! First off, I really appreciate the feedback, and I'll keep making reviews like this on a weekly basis so make sure you're subbed. Second, love hearing the input on your comparison between the M100s and M50x. I think a lot of this just boils down to preference and your ears versus my ears. To me, the "clarity" of the M50x you're describing is the same harshness in the highs that I'm not fond of in these headphones. At first, the level of detail is impressive, but it wears off after a while and really is more fatiguing to listen to during longer sessions. Now on the other hand, I find the M100s to have really good "clarity", namely in the separation between instruments and the details in the highs, WITHOUT offending or sounding harsh. Overall, the M100x is more pleasing and enjoyable to listen to over long sessions. Back to back, the M100x may sound a little pushed back or veiled compared to the M50x, but I hear plenty detail after listening to them for some time and getting used to the sound. Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
+ODi Productions you're right. Actually listened to the both of them for 2 hours+each(music/videos) and overtime I appreciated the m100s more. Its much more fun and is actually clearer when i turn the volume up a little than the athm50x. Thanks for the tip bro! Really appreciate it! New fan and sub right here! Keep it up:)
+Neil Manalo They might sound better when you put volume up higher for you because you prefer the mids with the bass and the mids are recessed on the m100s but to me that is fine because I listen to more instrumental and I like the mids and vocals to be lower in the mix, and when you put volume higher the mids appear more better.
i bought these. idk if im doing something wrong but i can only hear nice audio while i push down on the bottom thats on the wire. if i dnt hold down the button the audio is shit. can barely hear anything. anyone else have this issue?
Great review dude! If u would have to choose between these and the Beats Studio Wireless, what would u choose? And please skip all the talk about what u prefer, just tell me what u would choose. Thanks!
+Daniel Lantz Thank you! The V-Moda M100s trump the Beats Studios in every category with the exceptions of style (subjective) and comfort (factory earcups). Throw the XL memory cushions on the V-Modas and they become more comfortable than the Beats during longer sessions. If it were my money, I'd go with the V-Modas and never look back :-)
Nice Review! Looks very proffessional and not biased. Just a request for a video or simply your opinion here. I am debating between the M100s and Blue's newest headphone, the Lola. I've read and heard great reviews on both but cannot choose. The Lolas were released just last year, while the M100s are older. Will that make any difference in quality/technological advances? I'd love to see a review from you on the Blue Lolas, as it would greatly help not only me in my decision, but many others as it is an up and coming headphone. Thanks
+The Blood Rogue Thank you! And I had no clue Blue even made headphones, but I'm very familiar with their studio microphones. With that said, there won't be any technological difference or advantage for the Blue Lola, at the end of the day they're just headphones (unless we're talking about adding Bluetooth wireless). Sound-wise, at the level that the V-Moda's are at, there's very few headphones that sound significantly "better", only different. That's my take, I'll try and get my hands on the Lola.
***** Yea, they have only two pairs out at the moment, the Mo-Fi's and its younger sibling the Lolas. And ok, thanks for clearing that up. Thanks for the quick reply!
I've had these for over a year. I have the XL ear pads and at first found the band to hurt the top of my head. I wear the band slightly forward and that helps. The bass is really good, reminds me of my 15" Vibe subwoofer in my old car. The mids took some getting used to as they are the weakest so vocals sit in the background instead of being front and centre where they should be. I might try to get a FIIO X3 with equiliser to boost the mids a bit. Great for dance\trance\ prodigy, etc. Not so good for rock.
Very accurate assessment, I agree. The M100s have great detail, but if you listen back-to-back with a more mid-heavy headphone, the M100 sounds a bit more veiled. After some time though, my ears get used to it.
I bought a pair of these nearly two years ago (listening to them right now) and I still love them. It's really nice to see an honest review that does them justice.

Much appreciated. You're gonna love them!
The most comprehensive review of M100 out there. :D

+azimalto It makes a huge difference! Now they're almost perfect in every way.
Really solid review. I have these coming in two days.
Awesome! Let me know what you think. Give them some time though, and make sure to up the volume
one of the best reviews ever. good job
I appreciate this so much!
this was an AMAZING review this is a high quality vid ur channel is awesome

Wow that is so awesome to hear bro!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, I still use them everyday for gaming and working out. Still holding up nicely even though I pretty much abuse them haha. Keep me updated once you get them in your hands.
Great review. Straight to the point with the needed detail. I've just ordered a pair, but annoyingly have to wait two days before they arrive. No Flac for me until then. :o(
Perfect video bro! I have had these for about a year now, and just got an amp (Fiio A3 e11k) and I'm blown away! Sounds amazing
I hope you love them as much as I do :-) Link in description to XL pads
Oh, so after all I'm not a weirdo who, after comparing all the brands in the world, picked the V-Moda Crossfade M100, which I've never heard of before. Glad to hear 😅👍
Nice review.
Great job dawg! 2 questions, 1) Do you recommend these headphones for a house DJ like myself? 2) Should I buy the coilpro extended cable?
did you seriously cite yourself hahaha
MLA format bruh
Marin Srok gotta be legit, can't be caught plagerizing
ODi Productions one question? are these headphones good to use in public transit?
hey imyerik go for it. ive used tma-aiaiai, pioneer hdjs, bose ae and oe, audio technicas and I would rate this on par with the bose oe with tank built.
+Aswin s vishnu Thank you so much! And I'm glad you're enjoying the M100s as much as I do :-)
Man o man, I am so glad I watched your review of these headphones. I just bought some of these so I am very excited now. Nice, thorough review, man.
+ThaRedPitbull Very nice!! Congrats on purchasing one of the best headphones in the game. Let me know what you think of them.
*****
No problem. I bought them for gaming and music. Have you ever gamed with them?
+ThaRedPitbull Haha. Only every single day with my PS4 :P They do a good job, but make sure you pick up the XL Memory Cushions for hours of comfortable wear.
*****
lol I'm glad to hear that. Something told me to buy the XL cushions, so I did right before I proceeded with the checkout.
+ThaRedPitbull Clutch! Looks like you're all set man, you're gonna love em.
Amazing review
I just bought ones today! Are the good/amazing?
Awesome review man, instantly earned my sub! :)
Thank you and welcome to the channel!
Great review man!
+MoellerSebs Thank you!!
After watching both of your reviews, i decided to go with the Sennheiser momentum 2.0 over these. Thanks! You really helped me out.
Awesome! Both headphones are top notch, you made an excellent choice
Owned a pair for a couple of years now, they do sound great but:
RESPECT
+Paul Tiu and you forgot to say that the vmoda shields can be changed and customized with different colors and design... or did you.
+Paul Tiu THANK YOU!! Really appreciate that feedback Paul. I actually have a pair of Sennheisers coming in tomorrow that I'll be reviewing soon :-)
PS.
Thanks!
+Paul Tiu Haha! I wouldn't mind reviewing a pair of those at all. If Sol wants to send me a pair :P
These are great headphones. I bought the non-collapses ones, years ago and they're awesome!
+John Steven Nice, glad to hear it!
good call on the XL pads. about to order me some m100s for christmas :D
You're about to have a very, merry Christmas :-)
Facts!! Using the M100s for gaming everyday as well. Even the included cable mic is not bad, but yeah the Boom Pro is legit.
How is the bass
Great review, getting these tomorrow!
+Joe Williams Woo! You're gonna love them man.
+ODi Productions I hope so! I've just subscribed so keep 'em coming ;)
+Joe Williams Welcome to the channel! New review coming in hot this Monday :-)
Crossfades M100 vs. Momentums 2.0 vs. Urbanite XL?
For someone who appreciates good balance but also loves bass. What would you guys get?
I used to own a pair of Beats, they broke in 2-3 months. I've had my Crossfade LP2's for 5 years, and the leather on the headband is just now starting to peel off. I have my custom M-100's on the way, and I can't wait for them to arrive!
Wow they lasted THAT long? Impressive. You'll love the M100s :-)
Excellent review sir.
Thank you!!
this review is awesome and you are very persuasive. can you tell me what headphones are good for EDM music production
Haha thank you! I know that some famous DJs like Avicii use these for live sets. As far as music production, the M50x is very popular in studios.
What an excellent review! Most people don't say anything about the clamping force and earcups for example. It's the details that also make your reviews great :)
And one more thing I would like to know.... a lot of people on forums etc, keep comparing these to the m50x a lot.
+ODi Productions That's the best answer I could get :) Thank you so much for such a detailed reply and honesty. Can't wait for the m50x review xD
i focus mainly on dj'ing and studio use. should I get the ATH M-40x to focus mainly on the studio use or should I get the m100's for balanced use in both category's?
I've heard at the moment you apply the xl pads your mentioned pressure even increases due to the bigger size of the pads. I don't get why the Pressure of the Clamps should be decreased or just declined by pads which are more soft.
I want to know if this headphones are better than the wireless. What would you recommend me? M100 or wireless?
I'm using these headphones as my main gaming headphones with my Xbox one and ps4. These headphones are way better then beats
Same! I use these with my PS4 everyday. Did you swap out the earpads though?
+ODi Productions You know I had to get the XL pads. Please do a DJ headphone review and please get the pioneer hdj 2000 and compaire them to the M100, M50x and beats studio. That's would be a great video cause all those are base headphones
+Tiger25NYC Bass headphone comparison
Haha, my man! Yeah I couldn't imagine using the stock earcups for more than 20 mins tbh. But with the XLs, whew... I can use those all day. Thanks for the suggestion, those Pioneers look sweet. If you haven't see it already, I did a comparison between the V-Modas and the Beats Studio here: czcams.com/video/WJycrupbTZ8/video.html
Mind telling me what ear pads you use :)?
Great reviews..keep them coming!
+waqar88 Much appreciated!! More to come soon...
great review! was just wondering...did you use a headphone amp or just the standard dac on your phone, computer, etc.
Thanks
Would you recommend the crossfade wireless over the m100s? Is the sound any different between the two?
I love it. I just got one
Nice! Great brand
Just ordered them!
Once again another good video
+Tredarius Tintinger Appreciate it!
I own an lp2 but I am not satisfied by it, so should i go for m100? Does m100 sound much better than lp2? Or does it worth it?
I've been looking into these for a while. I currently use Sennheiser HD25s - how does the sound isolation compare?
Do the vmoda crossfade wireless sound as good as these? I'm definitely a basshead who listens to mostly hip hop. I do listen to metal occasionally (pantera, white zombie, etc) will I enjoy these?
Question What Headphone AMP / DAC is good for these headphones budget of 100$
Please review the Yamaha EPH M200! I've heard great things about them and I'm not sure if I want to go buy a pair
Those are exactly the color way i wanted great review very informative
+Tiger25NYC Thanks for checking out the review man! Let me know if you end up picking up a pair. Would love to hear your thoughts.
My brother bought these in 2017 and they're in perfect condition to this day
try using them with a 20 band parametric eq . the sound is AMAZING
The customer service from V-Moda is insane! Love this company.
+N3RFTHIS Great to hear! They deserve to be bigger and I think they're getting there.
I'm listening to edm the most,I'm looking for clear sound,a punchy bass and a good noise isolation which would you recommend?
as someone who is planning on getting a pair for my console, where would the Mic for communication be located since I don't believe I see it on the earcup
how do these compare with the warm, non-fatiging Sennheiser HD-25 II?
I want to try them out but I'm worried they'll sound bad coming from using SE846.
would these be good for gaming?
Can I use them for music production? Mainly EDM
If I want to use the mic on the pc do i need to buy a boom mic or can i just can get a audio splitter?
Excuse me, and can be installed with the wireless my samsung tv wireless? sorry for my English I have a cochlear implant for 2 years and I am deaf, I live only for 4 years in California. Thank you so much, Mauro
7:20 I have the same thing that they sound way better when you turn up the volume and the bass starts to unfold. But as I'm becoming older and the first signs of Tinnitus start to show I don't want to turn up the volume. Isn't it possible to have the same amount of bass on lower volumes?
Super helpful
I got these today for a $100 It's a steal! The clamping is an issue though, I'll have to order a pair of XL cushions.
Hey have you tried the sennheiser hd25?. How do they compare to the M100 in terms of sound?
Design is important, although i'm more sennheiser type audio, but I have 3pcs of V-moda series because how they look. Headphones makers should learn from M100!
Great Review
Thank you
are these better than custom one pro?
i think all headphone reviews should be like yours. Its just so detailed and good bro.
Anyways I have a question. I have both the vmoda m100 and ATH M50x .
Both has been burned in for about 50hours+ and I've been listening to the both of them and comparing them for a while now.
The athm50x for me is a little clearer but the vmoda m100s have better bass (not just in loudness but also overall punch and thump)
I listen pretty much to every genre: rock, classical, edm, hiphop, alternative, pop. and right now the athm50x sounds better for me.
so my question is, will the vmoda m100s will get better with longer burn in time? i really love the sound signature of the m100s i just want them to be a little bit clearer. if they have the clarity of the ath m50x im currently listening to along with its good bass then id use them more.
+Neil Manalo Awesome!! Welcome to the channel Neil. Expect a new video every week :-)
*appear more louder
i bought these. idk if im doing something wrong but i can only hear nice audio while i push down on the bottom thats on the wire. if i dnt hold down the button the audio is shit. can barely hear anything. anyone else have this issue?
Are these good for gaming
Great review dude!
If u would have to choose between these and the Beats Studio Wireless, what would u choose? And please skip all the talk about what u prefer, just tell me what u would choose.
Thanks!
+Daniel Lantz Thank you! The V-Moda M100s trump the Beats Studios in every category with the exceptions of style (subjective) and comfort (factory earcups). Throw the XL memory cushions on the V-Modas and they become more comfortable than the Beats during longer sessions. If it were my money, I'd go with the V-Modas and never look back :-)
+ODi Productions Okey great!
Thanks for the quick answer and the honest review!
Keep it up!
what do you prefer sony or this one?
Just got these headphones and they are actually the BEST I've ever had before.
+Lucky Five Yup! They're definitely one of the best out right now. Did you pickup the XL Memory Cushions as well?
+ODi Productions dont have them now but I will definitely buy them soon!
+Lucky Five Definitely pick that up! It's a must have IMO
