    I too have always enjoyed the Emo Peter section of the movie. If anything, because I kinda feel him on it.
    The symbiote essentially unleashes Peter's Id. He abandons any sense of shame and embarrassment and just goes with it. Honestly if I were in the same situation, I probably wouldn't act much differently. Especially the dancing.
    Now I'm not saying I'd go to a weird jazz club where the waitresses sing (while still doing cocktail service?), but some form of acrobatic based dancing would most certainly occur.

      I went trough a psychotic outbreak, and I can tell that I was pretty much like Parker in Spider-man 3, but even worse. I had complete trust in all of my capabilities, I didn´t listen, and I thought I was the center of the universe. My desires showed no filter, I was a beast. No wonder why this saga has been so important to me: is like a spiritual guidance for my development as a person.

    I really loved the Sam Raimi Trilogy, Its a great bunch of movies that hold up to this Day in my opinion and the Ending To Spider-Man 3 was very heartfelt since because as said it was a moment where Mj and Peter Parker became whole again. I will always adore these movies no matter what new Spider-Man Movie shows up to Attempt to take top spot-Spiderverse was an Exception mostly cause it does a great job parodying the Raimi Films.

    • @aaaaaaaaaalrightythen9953
      @aaaaaaaaaalrightythen9953 Před 3 lety

      Dude I know it’s so annoying lol. The fact is that the reason these films are so highly praised by both critics and fans alike have actually little to do with nostalgia and more to do with how well the stories were put together, the self-analysis of multiple characters, the script, etc. In no way are these movies perfect but they are for sure one of the best superhero films of all time, alongside Dark knight trilogy I would say, and definitely the best live action Spider-man movies made so far. Nostalgia is obviously part of it but I just hate when people say the main reason people like the Raimi films is because of nostalgia, but more so because of the so many other legitimate factors. I say this is a person who genuinely enjoyed the Andrew and Tom movies as well. It’s just that for a person who has read the comics Tobey’s is my favorite because he’s the most comically accurate out of the three live action spideys.

    @CalebHimself Před 5 lety +23

    The Raimi films are pure Spided-Man. They did Spider-Man as a character well. They may not be perfect adaptations of the comics, but they're certainly the closest. And the writing and storytelling is pitch perfect, except for Spider-Man 3 which wasn't as good becuase of Sony intervening and forcing Sam Raimi to do stuff he didn't want to.
    The problem with MCU Spided-Man is not that they're badly written and filled with plot holes and such. They do have sound writing for the most part. It's the adaptation aspect of them. It's just not Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire is the Spider-Man.

    i like to view the raimi trilogy in the same way as the dark knight trilogy.
    these may not be the most "comic accurate" adaptations in the literal sense of the stories it adapts or how it handles some of it's cast, but at it's core i believe the themes and messages present in these have the greatest understanding of what those comics were trying to convey.

    The Raimi trilogy always has a place in my heart. Somehow they arrived at these odd transitional periods in my life. The 1 arrived when I graduated high school (I went premier day in the afternoon with a small crowd I had a blast, but honestly when I left and saw the lines of people all the way out of the theater it felt a sea change the likes I never before seen). Spider-Man 2 arrived as one of the first movies I watched, at would eventually be my theater job, after I moved to a new town. Spider-Man 3, was the first movie I caught after coming home from BMT and tech school. The series about constant growth and change seemingly coinsided with my own personal change, something no other series has ever done. Maybe it's timing but Raimi and co's work on this stuck with me. (I wished I went to or read the Harry Potter books and movies in theaters, they'd probably give me a similar feeling).

    What about Spider-Man 4, where a man finally finds happiness, Spider-Man 5, which shows when he loses it, and Spider-Man 6, which shows when he's ready to move on, and no longer blame himself for things beyond his control?

    I loved this trilogy as a child and i still love it to this day because of nostalgia. But as i got older i related more and more to tom hollands iteration. He semeed to be moreso of what i read in the comics and watch as cartoons when i was younger
