Kurapika doesn't want to hide his chains, because showing them at all times was the way he tricked everyone including Uvo into assuming that they were real and he simply controlled them, rather than conjured them. This is why Uvo didn't bother to check if there were any invisible chains (which you could only do if they were conjured).
Yes but the Phantom Troupe is actively looking for the chain user. It puts a giant bullseye on his back.

in manga they explained the conditions for chrollo to steal someone’s ability in this fight but they didn’t in the anime so I guess you guys should know. The conditions are:
1-He must witness the Nen ability with his own eyes
2-He must ask questions about the ability and the user has to answer these questions
3-ability user must touch the book Chrollo is holding
4-all 3 of these conditions must be completed within an hour.
and when he steals an ability the ability user can never use that ability again
They do explain it in the anime.. they just still didn’t understand. They edited it out of the video

Even in the manga, it was only explained later at the start of the Greed Island arc on the first page of chapter 123, so not as part of the story and these are not all of the conditions:

To use it, he has to have the book open at the exact page in his right hand at all times and most importantly, he loses the ability if the former owner dies.
While chrollo is strong, they are being cautious as opposed to attacking him like uvo attacked kurapika. Not knowing what abilities he has can end up being their downfall. So they wanted to kill him quickly and that’s why they decided to have one pin him down and the other kill. It was the most efficient way to keep him from creating an unforeseen circumstance

Guys you're a little confused about Neons fortune:
-the 11th moon rising into the sky was Uvogin, considering he had the 11th tattoo in the Troupe
-As you can see Chrollo ks the head of the "spider", so losing half his limbs means losing half of the members of the Troupe.
-The whole fortune is metaphor to tell Chrollo that he will need to search for new people to replace those lost in the Troupe, as well as to go east for something that's happening very soon

To Sam because she’s always the one checking comments lol, by limbs they mean the spider limbs not Chrollo’s. Eleventh moon is Uvo, he revealed the number 11 that was tattooed on his back in episode 43. Love the reaction and tell Parker that he’s my favorite in the pack haha.

@@dee6054 nope, I doubt most fans thought he was weak. He’s the oldest of a family of assassins, and the fact that he at least gets a kill per day says something about him. Not only that, he was the one that let killua go. He holds so much power in the family and assassin world, he’s a legend.

So many people in this reply section are clueless😂 zeno is not the oldest of the family. And Silva might be the head of the family but he isn't the strongest. There's still 2 zoldycks we haven't seen in the Anime (except for their silhouettes). The father of zeno is zigg. He's the one who went with netero and the oldest hunter (We seen her in the election arc) to the dark continent and he retrieved alluka. And his father maha. He's the oldest zoldyck and zeno mentioned him. Apparently netero was the only one who fought him and made it out alive
Actually I'm wrong. I think there's still a grandma, so there's 3 zoldycks that didnt appear in the anime

Parker seems to have picked up on the DBZ similarities. Togashi, the creator, is a MASSIVE Dragonball fan so there are indeed a few influences dotted throughout the show.

Losing the limbs was talking about the limbs of the spider. The limbs of the spider are phantom trope members. So otssaying he will lose half of the trope.
And Zoldycks always finish the job. So they acknowledged that he is so strong that they can't take him down without putting themselves at risk

Chrollo is a cheater though. If he get to prepare for a fight, he can 1v1 basically anybody. If it's a sudden fight, he gets heavily limited. Hisoka on the other hand is well-rounded.

Also it's worth noting that the people who put these negative comments are just a vocal minority and sadly they are LOUD , mainly because they're stupid , but the majority of the HxH fanbase are kind and understanding.

the fortunate didn't mean Chrollo is going to lose half of its limbs it meant the Spider (Troupe) will lose half of its limbs (half of its members).

I don't think the phantom troupe are the villains. If the show was about them they would have been the good guys in the viewers eyes. Togashi wrote this in a way where the troupe are the ENEMIES not the villains. If you think about it, they are killers but so are most of the charachters in the show. Even our main charachters. It's just that because we follow them we perceive them as heroes

They murder innocent guards to get Greed Island (and no, those are not part of the mafia, they're guard from the official auction, not the mafia auction so they're just random innocent people). Then you have what Chrollo does to increase even slightly his odds of beating Hisoka (he slaughters hundreds of random people). Phinks and Feitan talk about hunting down GI players just for fun, etc... The troupes are bad guys. They're not one-dimensional, they're well crafted characters and interesting ones but they're still unambiguously evil.

Killua is a brainwashed pre-teen kid raised by assassins who chose to stop being an assassin as soon as he had a chance. He's not remotely the same as the troupe. Gon isn't entirely good, that's true and it's explored here and later on. He has a selfish take on "good" and he is very similar to Hisoka (the difference being that he can feel empathy while Hisoka doesn't seem to, but beside that Hisoka and Gon are almost the same). Kurapika has done nothing truly evil, even if his participation in the mafia is a bit "the means justify the ends", he doesn't do anything actually evil with them. Leolio is a cinnamon roll. Of them only Gon really qualifies as "not fully good", even Killua the child assassin doesn't do anything evil past episode 21.
@@Arkayjiya yea I'm aware. But thats with the assumption that killing makes you evil in this world. In the world of hunter x hunter nobody gives a F if you're a killer or not. Netero himself is probably more evil then the pt because he's the reason people die in the exams because he wants only the powerfull to survive. He's pretty twisted himself and no where near a hero. But because he is friends with our main charachters we as the viewer see him that way. You see?
Same with hisoka. Is he a villain because he kills people? If you actually think he's a a villain then you didn't watch the show.
Now are the pt the villains of the story? I would classify them as just enemies of a main charachter. Because gon and killua themselves don't even hold a grudge against them.
@@kc_h7h I think you're confusing "villain" with "angatonist" here. Of course Hisoka is a villain. Villain means you do evil. Antagonist means you're working against the protagonist. Hisoka is not always an antagonist (since sometimes he helps Gon and Killua) but he is always a villain. Same for the troupe.
As for Netero, whether he's a villain or not is irrelevant. That doesn't change the fact that Hisoka or the PT are villains.

Netero I genuinely don't know for sure. The man sacrificed his life to save hundred of thousands of people. He didn't need to die to kill the king, they could just have nuked the capital and the king would have died but they would have killed thousands if not millions of people too. So Netero got the King out of the capital and sacrificed his own life to save those people.
On the other hand, it's true that the Hunter exam is over the top but every person in the exam is warned in advance about it and is consenting (but some of them are children which is bad) and we don't know if the chairman alone has the power to override the exam. So maybe he's a villain? Or maybe not. It's hard to say with the info we have.
But even if he was a villain, I'm not sure what that would have to do with the phantom troupe or Hisoka. They're villains regardless.
Kurapika was definitely ignoring his friends on purpose, I can't blame him at all. Not only is the Phantom Troupe no joke, the path he's walking is very dark and violent. That's going to change him, I can see why he doesn't want that for his buddies.

Did you not see the crazy smile gramps had knowing he was about to die, I don’t think he cared about the job or dying he just wanted to kill chrollo
But in a sense, it is actually about the job. The Zoldycks’ view on assassination is nuanced and I feel like what most people miss is that they actually see it as a profession & most importantly an art form(supported by silva referring to chrollo’s kill as “beautiful”). Zeno was excited to finish the job but he doesn’t enjoy murder for no reason, which is why he didn’t kill chrollo after the ten dons died. Many misinterpret that as them just being money hungry but it’s more than that to them.
@@1redfury its definitely not about the money. I think (atleast for zeno) its about the status and pride he built. He would rather die then fail a mission. Most charachters are like this. For example hisoka is litteraly prepared to die for his sexual pleasure and netero sees fighting the strongest people as his life goal and he's willing to die just to have a brawl with a strong person even tho he knows he will lose

Holy crap, the pacing is so annoying. I was complaining in the last episode how they left out material from the manga only for this episode to be half filler, why?!
They even changed the hall where they fight with Chrollo to have stairs going up to it which makes no sense as it's supposed to be the one in the basement where the previous underground auction should have happened.
