Chrolo´s condition if I remember it good.
1. He must witness the Nen ability in action with his own eyes.
2. He must ask about the ability and be answered by the victim.
3. His victims palm must touch the handprint on the cover of his book.
4. All of the above must be completed within an hour.
5. He must hold book with one hand to use stolen Nen.
#5 is not a condition for stealing an ability. That's just a condition for using a stolen ability. But he also has a "Bookmark" which allows him to use 2 stolen abilities (with the book open) or 1 stolen ability (if he has the book closed)

Chrollo forced two of the greatest assasins in the world into a self SACRIFICE situation, and he wasn't even intending to KILL them. Bro is nasty
@@KareemK-jl3sj He is strong, But they were all holding back not just Chrollo. Dont let this fight misconstrue how powerful Zeno and Silva are. Chrollo would lose to Zeno 1v1, 100%. Maybe in a few years he could hold up, He does get stronger later in the manga tho.
@Vecalius in what way would he lose 100% when ZENO HIMSELF implied it would be closer if chrollo was actually trying?
It makes absolutely no sense for the Zoldycks to be holding back in this fight. They were cautious due to chrollos ability but they were focused on killing him 100% before illumis call.
They're two of the greatest assasins in the world who take their job seriously. If they're given money to do a job then it's getting done lol. They didn't go all the way to yorknew for a cute sparring match. Their job is their pride and reputation.
In a 2v1 OBVIOUSLY they will beat chrollo. Chrollo did decent but he would've ultimately been killed had the call not come through. That being said forcing one zoldyck to sacrifice himself to take you out in a 2v1 situation is still a top tier feat.
The way I see it:
-Zeno / Chrollo - more or less the same level maybe zeno has the edge due to experience.
-Silva - Slightly behind both but above Hisoka/Illumi
-Hisoka/Illumi - Roughly the same but Hisoka maybe edges it.
But all these characters are in the same ballpark and there genuinely isn't an insane amount separating them. I feel like togashi genuinely centred these characters to be roughly in the same tier just differing levels.

Humility doesn’t always equate truth tho, Netero has stated that certain characters are stronger than him or close to him which obviously untrue.
Yes, They didn’t go there for a sparring match. The fight didn’t last long enough for any of the 3 to get serious. As I said they were holding back, It’s stupid to go into a fight and give it 100% immediately, All 3 of them were being cautious because they don’t fully know each others abilities. We actually saw all of them use exactly 1 nen ability.
You’re ranking doesn’t make any sense to me, You’re ranking Silva below Chrollo when they’ve fought to a draw in the past, They’ve both gotten stronger since. They are very close in terms of power. Zeno has been implied by different characters to have been the strongest member of the family currently, That alone puts him ahead.
Chrollo being strong enough to have Zeno prepared to die is definitely a feat. I think it depends how you interpret it tho, the Zoldyck family is all about completing the mission, They will do anything for that purpose. The mission comes first, Always. Doesn’t necessarily mean that Chrollo was too strong to deal with or anything else. I feel it’s more so the author just wanting to set the story up for chrollo later.
I’d agree that Hisoka, Illiumi, Silva and Chrollo are relatively close to one another in terms of power.

@@troxi69666kurapika only wins if he can imprison a member with the chains, if he fails to use them to put in zetsu state he is 100% dead in a 1 on 1 or 1 vs many.
Maybe he has a chance against pakunoda and kortopi as they don't have great fighting power but special support type skills and a noobish enhancer user is stronger than most conjures, manipulator and specialist in terms of raw strength.
Crollo is smarter than most people and is very careful and would be on guard against the chains using gyo from the start as he doesn't know if they are conjured or manipulated knowing that they can restrain uvogin which is the strongest member of the troupe in raw power.
Kurapika also needs to be careful with the chains as if he use against someone who isn't a member would kill him instantly, so he would have to be sure the opponent is an actual member before imprisoning them. Plus emperor time is extremely powerful but has big drawbacks like all the other nen abilities that have more power the more restrictions and the stricter the conditions of use are.

Just remember that as of the chimera ant arc Chrollo gained an ability called bookmark. He can essentially use 2 abilities at once with the book closed. It will be interesting to see if he is the final villain of the show.

Phantom troupe are class A criminal, meaning that they are the maximum level of threat that a black hunter could go after, and probably they are level A as a whole in term if hunter association level ( greed island was only G), probably only the top tier hunter with 2 or 3 stars or exceptional nen user (like the zoaldyck great grandfather, zeno, silva, illumi and maybe the mother) could be a match to them, the ten shadow beast were at a high level hunter but they were nowhere near them in terms of power.
