A followup to the 2017 Switch presentation would be so amazingly hype, and all your ideas are fantastic while still feeling very possible. Your concept logos here are terrific as well! (Dokney Kong City keeping the DKC acronym is genius.) This video was so much fun to watch, and I'm starting to get excited for all the possibilities of 2024. I'll be sure to submit a complaint to Protendo Industries when reality doesn't match this video
I really liked how Nintendo did a Press Conference for the 2017 Switch reveal that day was just special for us Nintendo Fans considering Nintendo was showing new games and how the new system worked glad it's still online because I feel Nostalgic for it sometimes.
It’s actually dangerous watching this kind of thing because it makes me hyped for what is essentially a fantasy although I’m sure some things will be accurate. One prediction I have that is probably a bit extreme but still certainly possible is that the switch 2 could be announced for February for an end of summer release, this allows for the Pokémon presents which will likely happen the week after this announcement to say “hey the bw remake(or whatever it’ll be) will be releasing on the switch 2 either at launch or just after) that’d give a third huge selling point for that console
This is truly the most perfect “prediction” of this upcoming year. Will it all come true? More than likely, no. But I do expect that this year will still be huge for Nintendo and that we won’t be too disappointed!

One thing I think is almost guarunteed to happen is upgrades for specific switch games, most notably totk. Giving it good frame rate and resolution bump would really reinvigorate interest in the already amazing game. This would also make the perfect opportunity to add in master mode and some other improvments. This would actually make a great game awards announcement but I doubt they would save it for then

You forgot one thing... at the end of the September direct, a surprise xbox logo shows up with announcement of Call of Duty 2024, Launching day one on Nintendo Switch 2. It's launch will be VERY rocky, with fans complaining about frame drops and input lag, but will sell millions and convince thousands more to pick up a switch 2.
the idea of Donkey Kong City is fantastic. as long as it’s just the same style and gameplay as Retro’s games. as long as the level design is as creative, level themes are as dynamic, and level design bleeds effortlessly into the actual world design like the old games.

I think for the new Mario kart, it’s more likely that they don’t have 24 retro tracks and 24 new tracks. 24 retro tracks is the issue, I just don’t think there’s that many interesting retro tracks left. Instead, I can see them doing 16 Mario kart themed course, 16 retro, and 16 “X” tracks, which will be crossovers with other Nintendo franchises. Imagine a Metroid themed race, a Kirby themed race, and a pikmin themed race
I think its a missed opportunity not to have a new punchout with the joy cons before the switch ends

I always desperately hope for something new with Kid Icarus, but I know how unlikely that is. Maybe we could get a Splatoon spin-off since we obviously wouldn't be getting a Splatoon 4 yet? I love the idea of a Squidbeak Splatoon focused Warriors game (I call it Splatoon Agents) and would be refreshing from the other warriors game since they all go for more of a medieval fantasy vibe.

Twilight Princess really needs more work on comparing to Wind Waker HD, I played both games recently and TP HD really did not aged that well, maybe we'll see a proper overhaul on the next console

Slight issue with your Splatoon prediction, the way they usually do DLC releases means that Side Order is almost certainly coming in March.
Also, I can’t see MP4 skipping the Switch 1. Nintendo already promised the game for that platform, & they usually stick to their word. Plus this is the best-case scenario for the series if you want MP4 to sell as well as possible. On a similar note, you forgot to mention Prime 2 & 3.

if they do actually decide to release Windwaker and Twilight Princess separately they need to be like $25 each maximum. and even then that’s a push. nintendo cannot keep pricing HD ports of 20-25 year old games between $40-60. and the $40 was literally only done for Metroid Prime Remastered.

I honestly agree with everything in the video, even some of the predictions that can be called too crazy I can see working. Pikmin and other smaller series have shown that you can put any franchise on the Switch and it will sell and grow so this is a great time to introduce people to new franchises.
Pretty reasonable. The Direct falls roughly in line with what I'd expect, Good you didn't go overboard in hype. Switch 2 wise a bit too reasonable, I think it'll be comparable to gen 8 raw power wise with DLSS and a more modern feature set bring it up to at least low level 4K visually.
Also, there'll be a gimmick of some kind, no matter how major.

I get the feeling if Wind Waker or Twilight Princess were going to happen, it would've been in 2022 when there were no Zelda releases and Tears of the Kingdom got delayed. I get the feeling they'll be individualized again. To save Zelda ammunition. And that this year or next its the top down Zelda. They usually do that or a spin off after a new 3d title. They never follow up with a port or make of a 3d game except in Skyward Swords case. I hope your right about Star Fox and Metroid Prime 4.
I love coming back and watching this video every once and a while. It’s an interesting speculation video that isn’t baseless clickbait about “switch 2 being revealed tomorrow!?!!” like a ton of “content” creators make.

New Star fox games for switch and also new star fox game with Krystal, miyu and Fay for switch 2, star fox adventures, assault and command with Marcus dlc for switch?! I really hope this is true, @NintendoAmerica and @Nintendo, because we really do need a new StarFox game with a brand new story mode, with Fox, Krystal, Falco, Slippy, Katt, Miyu, Fay and Peppy. Fans have been waiting for this since 2006. Please make it happen.

I feel like Rewind would be more based on previous titles but with a major twist. Like Imagine going to Mario 3 but everything's Factory based or 3D world is Bowser world themed.

I really like the Donkey Kong City concept. City levels are always fun. The Mario concept is also cool. I'm imagining an 8 bit world in the style of the original Mario games. Time travel would definitely allow them to add some little nods to Mario's history.
I wish we knew when the next Nintendo Direct will be? I'm hoping for Metroid Prime 4s release date and a new trailer for it will be revealed either late this year or early next year.
22:45 I think we'll get Pokémon Johto/Gen 2 remakes, this time they will be Pokémon Crystal remakes, in contrast to HGSS which were Gold & Silver remakes. It might be a cross-gen title with the Switch 2, releasing on the latter half of the year.

Currently the pattern for Pokemon remakes does indicate that we're in for a GSC/HGSS remake and then a BW remake for the Switch 2
Okay here is my prediction, pretty pie-in-the-sky tbh but i'm in fully hype mode so let's go!
Mario maker 3: Featuring the brand new Wonder game style joining the other 2D styles, and opening the gates to add much of the new obstacles and enemies and more introduced in Wonder. The main focus of the game will be stars, and their game-specific equivalents like Wonder seeds. Green stars can be placed in levels for additional challenges and gold/normal-color stars are rewarded simply for reaching a levels goal. While basically useless when just playing levels by themselves, stars can be used in world maker to lock off paths and levels until you have a certain number of stars to proceed.
The timer will also now be optional, naturally, and you know how some levels required you to be using a power-up the whole way through and so getting hit once was a death sentence? Maybe this time around, there is the option to substitute this for a Health system in any given level, so you can get hit but keep your power-up. There will also be a new stage element that forcibly removes a power-up without damaging the player, in the event the level only needs that power-up removed from play but if you already no longer have it, it won't kill you or anything. This will also be useful for levels with a health system if they need to make you remove the power up you currently have as to not trivialize the upcoming section of level.
Now this next part is gonna be super wish-fulfillment and i do not believe at all that this will be in the same game, but hear me out.
3D world's style is replaced with a full "3D mode" this will be the BIG selling point of the game. now you can make 3D Mario levels too! You can make levels in the style of 64, Sunshine, Galaxy (with Galaxy 2 stuff added in to fill in some of the gaps) 3D world, Odssey, and down the line, as paid DLC or a free update or something, the next 3D Mario game will also be added eventually. Unlike how 3D world functions in Maker 2, 3D mode styles will all share the same level elements with each other and the mode will feature a simple but easy to understand terrain tool that let's you place different terrain shapes together, sort of like Disney infinity's level editor mode, and instead of the usual goal you will simply have to collect the levels main Star/Shine/Moon/Whatever you end up collecting in the next 3D Mario, but you can collect Green stars along the way too and those stars will not end the level once obtained, allowing you to continue your quest through the level
Playable characters will also be added, in the spirit of all the playable characters available in Wonder. All characters playable in Wonder will make an appearance, including the Yoshis, being upgraded from Level element to player characters, which will probably confuse the vast majority of fans because not all levels will be made with Yoshi's in mind, for example, levels built entirely around power-ups, same with Nabbit, and not having the option to give the player a rideable Yoshi in a level will be baffling, and the ability for players to bring in their own infinitely-responsible Yoshi might also trivialize some obstacles, but whatever, it will at least open the door for some levels built ENTIRELY around Yoshi's moveset from Wonder, and the Kuribo shoe will be introduced in ALL 2D styles to replace him (Again, to mixed at best reception, but that's Nintendo for you i guess).
Joining the playable roster will be Rosalina (who should have been in Wonder, but whatever) Wario, and maybe Birdo as another "For beginners" character, i don't know. maybe Waluigi will join Daisy and make his playable debut in a normal-style Mario game, nothing is off the table, and more playable characters can be added as DLC later down the line (Prediction; We will not get any new playable characters down the line for Mario maker 3)

I predict maybe an announcement, if even that. We might see them appear at Summer Gamefest with whatever they have planned this year for software, but I would be surprised to see an announcement in their June direct or October. I expect an announcement in 2025 at the earliest

I highly doubt we will see anything about a big new 3d kirby game until at least mid 2025 tbh. Could expect a spin off though since I’m pretty sure we’re going to have to wait 4 years until a new one

I'd be okay with a legends game because it can be kept separate if it's bad and at at least it'd be working on somewhat new content. A straight up 3D remake of BW would be a travesty.

also there have been rumours for a few years now that the game is close to completion. i see it as being a launch window to mid 2025 game tbh.
Platinum is a big enough studio to work on multiple games at once, like they did Beyonetta 3 and that now discontinued online multiplier game. so doing astral chain 2 and the also teased by the director Nier 3 at the same time seems very likely.
remember also, astral chain 1 was a relatively budget title for Platinum, made in about 2-3 years. that’s why there’s only like 5 unique areas and you constantly revisit places. since the sequel will obviously have a greater scope it will mean more development time, but the core gameplay etc is already there.
iirc there was a Pokémon executive that recently stated that they may take more time to develop Pokémon games after what happened with Scarlet and Violet, so it could be possible that there won't be a major Pokémon release in 2024. Perhaps we will get a smaller game like New Pokémon Snap.

I think the first year of Switch 2 will probably give us a new 2D zelda. They've not released anything since 2019, and that was a remake. Factoring that out, the last new 2D Zelda was Link Between Worlds in 2014.
It just feels like the right time for a comeback.

Pretty sure that initial Switch 2 presentation will have fewer big games. Even if Starfox eventually does come to the system, its not very popular right now and would detract from the big first show. Then Mario Kart, while I agree could be worked on while the DLC was coming out would probably be saved as a 2025 announcement to spread out the major Mario releases. And finally the Kirby game also would be better off as a 2025 or even a 2026 announcement to pad out a year with a semi big release rather than flood the opening year which at this point would be half over already and it would still have Metriod Prime 4 likely as a release title and a new 3D Mario likely as a holiday release game. They would also probably announce a new IP here, not going to speculate. Then show some 3rd party support like Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake or something. And pad the rest out with crap like Just Dance and a game to show off new features maybe a 1, 2, Switch 2.
It's hard for something to become big and popular when they shove it to the side for years without a new game that doesn't have the same amount of care and polish as something like mario odyssey or zelda. Making a new game on the switch or switch 2 with the right amount attention he would have been known as "Fox McCloud, leader of the star fox team" as opposed to "that Star Fox guy from Starlink" or "that Star Fox guy from smash".
Actually do the work to make him popular again or just let the fans have it as they have done way more in the last 7-8 years then nintendo ever does. But of course they won't and if they do they would just do 64s plot again, and force an unwanted hardware gimmick again. If they keep that gimmick first mindset then the series is truly dead.
@@kurokamina8429 Yup, Starfox has potential to be a great series and a unique franchise. There aren't that many on rails shooters this day and age and this one gave more control to the player than others from it's time with movement controls, a rarity within the genre. Problem is they haven't done much with the franchise since the SNES original and N64 classic. A DS game that was half baked, an underappreciated return to form on the Gamecube, and a retelling of the 64 game with gimmicks shoehorned in that made the game borderline unplayable. I see why Nintendo hesitates to make new entries for this dead franchise, but all they need to do is make a new on rails shooter like the first two games, give us a proper sequel to the 64 game with a new villain that followed Andross, and don't insist on making us utilize a gimmick attached to the new hardware. Its that easy. It won't sell like other franchises because they need to build the brand up again, but 2 or 3 games later and they could have it be another of their juggernaut franchises.
Metroid prime 2/3 HD ports would be the only thing I’d add to your list.
Okay 2024 is gonna a really good year for Nintendo since we did get some really good games on the Switch last year in 2023 which were Super Mario Bros Wonder, Super Mario RPG, Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe and we did win awards for Super Mario bros Wonder, Tears of the Kingdom, and Pikmin 4 last year but maybe this year we do get some announcements from Nintendo and also for HAL Laboratory if they do anything good for Kirby since 2 years ago they did Kirby's 30th Anniversary and last year they did a remaster of Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe so maybe if they show a new Kirby Game like as you said should be called Kirby and the Cosmic Bridge I'm pretty sure it would be like after Kirby and the Forgotten Land or after Magolor Epilogue Kirby, Elfilin, and Magolor work together to find the ancients that made the dimensions, the Master Crown, and the Lor Starcutter and take them down once and for all so that they won't corrupt anyone and also Kirby's Friends he met throughout the series and also help them when their captured by the ancients like Bandana Waddle Dee, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Adeleine, and Ribbon, Marx, Taranza, Susie, and also maybe bringing back the characters from the Kirby Anime and being in this Kirby Game like Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon now that would be a cool new Kirby Game to see from HAL Laboratory.
But I hope for next year maybe HAL Labs could get like Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon from the Kirby Anime and put them in a Kirby game like I know their not canon to the Kirby games but if they were then you would just see Tiff and Tuff helping Kirby out like giving him an ability or a 1-Up and also cheering Kirby on which would be cool and for Escargoon maybe he could be a mini boss either way it would be cool but it would be cool if HAL ever makes for Kirby Right Back At Ya and just bringing back the characters like Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon back to the Kirby series and just adding new Kirby Characters from the Kirby Games but let's hope if HAL ever does do it and also making official plushies of Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon.
Or maybe like we could get like Kirby Air Ride 2 and maybe they could add more Kirby characters in there and also ones from the Kirby Anime like Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon or maybe they can do Kirby's Battle Royale 2 called Kirby Battle Royale Switch where you have 50 Kirbies and you can customize your own Kirby and then battle it out in a arena or maybe Kirby Fighters 3 like having more stages and battle it out in the arena again or a treasure road Kirby game called Kirby Star Road where you have to do all the treasure roads from Forgotten Land in order to win all the medals or platinum relics or a eShop 2D Challenge Kirby Game or a Team Kirby Clash 3D where you can battle all the bosses from past Kirby Games including from Forgotten Land and Magolor Epilogue or a new Kirby Golf Game like Kirby's Dream Course or maybe having a Kirby Game called Dream Crafter where you can make your own Kirby Levels just like from Super Mario Maker or maybe a Kirby Party game with the minigames from Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe in Merry Magoland and you can play as Kirby Characters from both the Games and the Anime so yeah something like those games would be cool for HAL Laboratory to do that for Kirby on the Switch or on the Nintendo Eshop.
Okay for this year in 2024 it would be cool if Nintendo and HAL Laboratory did make a reboot for Kirby Right Back At Ya like having the original characters like Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Tiff, Tuff, Escargoon, Sir Ebrum, Lady Like, and the Cappytown Citizens and also adding new Kirby Characters like Bandana Waddle Dee, Adeleine, Ribbon, Marx, Magolor, Taranza, Susie, Elline, The Three Mage Sisters, Elfilin, Clawroline, The Beast Pack, Galacta Knight, the four colored Kirbies Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green, Shadow Kirby, and even more. So I hope they do make reboot for Kirby Right Back At Ya since Nintendo is now doing entertainment which is doing Movies and TV Shows like The Super Mario Bros Movie so hopefully we do get a reboot for Kirby Right Back At Ya. But Nintendo and HAL Laboratory they should not just let Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon go because it would be cool seeing them in the Kirby Canon like in the games cause I know Escargoon and NME were in Mass Attack but not Tiff and Tuff so why not add them in the Kirby Games since the Anime is now done. But I really want to see Japan make official plushies of Tiff, Tuff and Escargoon because that would be cool and I would love to see that happen. But yeah this show was great and adorable and hopefully we get a reboot for it like keeping Tiff, Tuff, and Escargoon in it, adding new Kirby Characters, and not making Kirby fully talk cause in the anime I know he did talk in episode 1 but at this rate I don't want him to talk at all because it would might sound weird and I don't like that at all so hopefully in the reboot they can keep making him say Poyo which I'll be fine with that.
Since Nintendo showed us what the new theme park will be for Donkey Kong and the attraction is based off of Donkey Kong Country Returns and it will come out in 2024. For this year in 2024 it would be cool if they did do a remaster or port of Donkey Kong Country Returns on the Nintendo Switch because that game was really fun to play on the Wii and it would be cool to play it on the Nintendo Switch as well. And if Nintendo announces a new Donkey Kong game maybe they could do another 2D Donkey Kong Game and make it by the same company that made Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze it would be cool to see King K Rool coming back with his Kremlin crew to the Donkey Kong Country series now that would be cool for a new Donkey Kong game to see.
I can't wait to play the Mario VS Donkey Kong GBA remake game on the Nintendo Switch because I have watched old CZcams Videos back in the days when I was a child and I saw old videos of Mario Vs Donkey Kong GBA and it looks really fun and I played it on the PC and it was really good so I can't wait to get it and play it on the Nintendo Switch next year.
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD would be a really fun game for me to play since I haven't played that game since I don't have a 3DS but it would be cool for me to play it on the Switch but it would be cool if Nintendo also remastered Luigi's Mansion 1 from the GameCube from the 3DS and just port it on the Nintendo Switch now that would be cool to see for next year.
Princess Peach Showtime looks alot of fun to play cause I like how Princess Peach can transform into different transformations like she can become a swordfighter, a baker, a detective, and a kung fu master and her new companion Stella looks so cute but I defiantly can't wait to play this game on the Nintendo Switch next year.
The Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door remake looks fantastic and I can't wait to play it on the Nintendo Switch since I don't have it on the GameCube but it would be fun to finally play this game on the Nintendo switch next year.
The Nintendo Games that I want Nintendo to remake or remaster or port to the Nintendo Switch and not Switch 2 are the two 3DS Kirby Games being remastered versions of Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot and also new side story modes for both Taranza and Susie just like what they did with Magolor. Like seeing Taranza finding Queen Sectonia after she was defeated from Kirby so that they can be together again and for Susie maybe she tries to find her father after Star Dream was destroyed by Kirby with him in it or maybe she tries finding Kirby’s Robobot Suit after Kirby defeated Star Dream or maybe having a backstory for Susie I don’t know but yeah I hope those two 3DS Kirby Games come to the Nintendo Switch and not on the new system Switch 2! if Nintendo and HAL Laboratory are still working on them.
And also I hope to see Nintendo using Greeso to do a remake of Tomodachi Life for the Nintendo Switch. Because I know that Miitopia got remastered version on the Switch and it was great and they added a new Mii Maker Editor which I like it because you can ask the person for the code then you use it and then you get the Miis that they created and that's what they should do for Tomodachi Life and it would be great seeing Tomodachi Life getting a remastered version and being ported to the Nintendo Switch and not on the new system Switch 2! And also we may get a library of GameCube Games for the Nintendo Switch Online now that would be cool to see. Or on Switch 2 who knows
So yeah I hope 2024 will be a great year for Nintendo and hopefully it will be good.

I don't expect (nor really want) a new mainline title only 4 years after New Horizons, considering the wait between New Leaf and New Horizons was 7 years.
What I'm expecting to see within the next 2 years is probably a new spin-off title, unlike anything else we've seen.
Happy Home Designer already got a sequel in Happy Home Paradise, Pocket Camp is still around, and Amiibo Festival was a complete failure so I don't expect a sequel to that.
But it wouldn't necessarily be impossible to get another mainline title within the next 2 years. Perhaps it would be something akin to Wild World to City Folk, where City Folk was basically just Wild World but on the Wii, with some changes. Perhaps the next mainline title will look and play very similarly to New Horizons, but with some new stuff thrown in, all the updates and DLC packed in at launch, and some changes to things people didn't like with the original game. A New Horizons Deluxe, if you will.
At the end of the day, what I _really_ want is New Leaf HD within the Switch 2's launch week, shadow dropped on the eShop the day it's announced. It would be the exact same game, but with upscaled textures, fancier lightning (akin to Wind Waker HD and Metroid Prime Remastered), and higher framerate. Basically the same thing as playing it on an emulator.

Id love for the next 3D Mario to be a launch title for the Switch 2 since its been 7 years since Odyssey. Its also been forever since we've seen a mainline Mario game come out alongside a Nintendo system. In fact I think the last time that happed was back on the N64...
Also as far as Pokémon goes my prediction is a Black and White remake, its been heavily rumored and some prominent leakers have teased it. Plus im pretty sure Gamefreak is saving gen 10 for the Switch 2.

honestly i want a good pokémon game, but i also kinda want this to happen to so the higher ups at gamefreak feel embarrassed, have no excuse for their shit games, and permanently change their greedy and lazy business practises.

There is absolutely no way the Switch 2 has Kirby and Star Fox as launch titles. Xenoblade X remake could happen but I think that will be a spring or summer 2025 game.I also think Mario Kart is a year away.
I think the best we can hope for to launch the system is 3D Mario and MP4 along with a completely unknown game.

Dangggg…you went all out on this video and it shows. Freakin love all the ideas presented and all the logo mockups. Also astral chain 2 and twilight princess made me legit chuckle with how Nintendo that sounds.
i also don’t think Metroid Prime 4 will be a launch title game for Switch 2. definitely launch window, but after a few months. The series’ best selling game before this sold 3 million copies. compare that to mario, which best 3D game is over 25 million. outside of the hardcore nintendo fans online, no one knows about metroid as it’s such a niche franchise, especially outside of america.
launching simultaneously next to a new 3D mario and a mario kart soon following would take all eyes off of MP4, which is obviously not what nintendo wants since they want it to be something huge. and for it to be something huge when the franchise is still niche, it needs its own time. and no, MP4’s impressive visuals and power alone for being a “visually impressive nintendo game” won’t be enough to attract in audiences who don’t care about the franchise.

Good video but no way we are getting Fire Emblem so soon, we just got one early last year.
I can see it happening because Engage got its german USK rating on the 23.08.2021. It must have been finished for at least a year before release and it internally is named Iron19 with Three Houses having been Iron17 and therby Iron18 suspiciously missing. (3 Hopes internal name is Seasons I think, only mainline titles use Iron).
Path of Radiance and Sacred Stones were developed at the same time (and their Iron codenames don't match the release order) and Engage was initially planned to be a 30th aniversery title.
I do really want to see a FE4 Remake so I am biased in my hopes.

But in all seriousness there is a possibility of a star fox game on the switch/switch2. For one bandai Namco has been working on a remake of an old nintendo 3D action game. Some people think its kid icarus but it could easily be Star Fox Assault as they themselves developed it back when they were separate. Also as of December 1st nintendo recently renewed the Star Fox brand in Brazil which is weird for them to do unless they are working on a new game.
it’s not weird to renew copyright for dormant brands in other countries lol. that’s just how copyright works. they don’t need to make a new game for that, they still renew golden sun and do nothing with it.

I need a new Kid Icarus game
Pokemon seems to be hinting towards Black and White Remakes and Legends Unova, with the Unova content in Legends Arceus and even going back to part of Unova in the Scarlet & Violet DLC. They would be Switch 1 titles since Pokemon doesn't release mainline games on a new console right away, with the BW Remakes on Nov 18th since they always release games in mid November, and Legends Unova on Jan 27th, 2025, around the time Legends Arceus released. Like BDSP, the BW Remakes will be developed by Ilca and handled similarly, and thus have a similar negative reception, while Legends Unova will be like Legends Arceus in being well received
I'm not sure a BW remake would happen at least yet
A remake of HGSS makes more sense because most of the work is already done with BDSP
And a Johto reremake fits in with the remake pattern that hasn't been broken yet
Legends: Victini or Legends: Genesect are safe bets because those two Pokemon aren't really available in any of the Switch games (And yes this is actually a pretty huge point because Arceus and none of the Gen 4 mythicals were available in SWSH)
Though I can see a Kalos game happening too but very unlikely
@@anonanonymous9670 I feel like they could be pointing towards either Johto or Unova remakes and/or legends. Those two regions have gone the longest without a big game release. I do think Unova will be first because of Pokemon including more Unova content recently, and Johto after with a Let's Go remake on the next console before Gen 10, but we'll see

Ambition?! What ambition?! I'll be disappointed if better performance is all they offer with their next system. Might as well go grab a Steam Deck. I expect more from Nintendo. With the Switch they have established the hybrid concept, but there is still room for improvement. They could, for instance, make it so that the image is being streamed to the dock, instead of having to plug it in every single time. Then have the dock upscale the image to your TV. This would also allow for the return of another staple feature: the second screen. For UI interaction and emulation of the DS, 3DS and Wii U libraries. An elegant way to do it, would be if you would have to slide open the top screen, to reveal the second screen below - which would then automatically turn the device into handheld mode. And they could also give the top screen a slider for stereo 3D while we're at it. That way their new System would combine all features from their previous generations of consoles and hardware in one exciting new package.
Mmmh nice video... seems possible for some expectations.. For the titles I thinks all of them will not be that obviously., the mario in time why not but I will more believe on an open world mario. The reveal of the console in July could be possible (but not a good idea, it will be probably September announced for a launch in octobre end). I still believe that MP4 will be switch exclusive why ? Because they don't want people to make the confusion btw the 2 consoles unlike the wii and gc the NS and NS2 will look alike and unlike the wii U the switch is still sending well. So my predictions will be more :

Q2 : Probably another nintendo direct with the leftover zelda
Q3 : maybe some remaster announced and the NS2 called Nintendo DC for double cross with a detachable second screen. Game at launch or few months later, will be Zelda OOT remake (a zelda at launch is sure same as wii and NS their 2 Success), mario 3D, arms 2, COD, RE remakes, Rred dead 2, mario kart X and fi ally DK (with the crocos). Star Fox, F zero have a really low probability to either come back one day. F zero maybe more (but it will be not as good as gx). Splatoon 4 will be announced at end of 2024. And I hope for a new IP (I will dream of something like PSO but with zelda gameplay). They will try to have one major game for each month like the switch.
