Love ur channel! I’m from the Caribbean, and also lived in Miami. El cubano sándwich originated from two Cubans that migrated to Tampa,FL traditional Cuban sandwich is called “medianoche” similar but uses sweet egg based bread. Also we tend to do el cubano from roasted pork “pernil” the next day if there is any leftovers. We slice slabs but u can shred if u like it’s best to slice into slabs. You did great tho!

The original “Cuban” made in Cuba is just the pork, not pulled, Mayo, mojo, onions, and of course the Cuban bread! That’s it!! the other Americanized Cuban sandwiches include ham cheese pickles all of that

lori R Irish food is very hearty and rich but also very balanced. Even though our weather isn’t very good the produce we have is very varied so it does make for some really good dishes.

I've also seen other people in comments saying they've had cubanos like this in FL. Realistically, I think some people take it to seriously. There's are variations in all cultures because everybody doesn't cook exactly the same. I'm sitting here trying to figure my own pork free version of a Cuban sandwich.
