If Ireland got the right calls last week they would have won .and if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle .Rassie got his plan wrong. The most important thing is that last year Ireland beat the world champions when it counted at the world Cup.

    takes from the game:
    1. Faf needs demoting, is harsh but he was poor in both tests and Williams was miles better.
    2. The Kwagga experiment needs to stop, it hasn't worked in the past nor is it now, he isn't good at 8 but especially he isn't good as a starter. Play Roos, has his faults but damnit he's an 8. Kwagga on Bench.
    3. I've not seen a lot of people mention this but its a good point; Rassie has only three times used the same Bok team two weeks running and each time they've been quieter in the second game. That was probably the most fatal error along with starting Faf and Kwagga.
    4. Typical emotional Saffas; last week Brown was Jesus now he's awful. Chill, it'll work.
    5. Irelands tactical changes were clever. Selection is key and POM, great player, but replacing him was totally right, Ringrose for Aki was also as the latter was totally ineffective last week.
    6. Most of all, the lack of a third test is awful, the beauty of a test series is that players and coaches learn about each other and attempt to out think each other. At Pretoria Boks looked more hungry for it, Ireland were forced to reevaluate after that loss succeeded in doing so. Its a real shame that the drama can't continue.

@@justina7041 Handre actually can play this style (think back to early in his career he was a revelation after Morne Steyn) but I agree that untill the second half of this test he'd loked rusty this series. I think he should probably quit Leicester and play in the URC to improve, I also think that one of the main reasons he improved in that second half was he had a different halfback partner. I actually really like Libbok but if you play Sacha at 12 you sacrifice De Allende or Esterheuizen.

Is Tony Brown’s method the best strategy for the Boks? I really get the sense that the journalists are tiptoeing around Rassie not wanting to offend him. And when vague answers are given why doesn’t anyone press him for a more specific answer. I understand that we don’t want to give our secrets away but all the vague and unanswered questions makes us as fans concerned because no-one knows where this Bok team is heading to.

Hugely concerning to hear Rassie say we know we can’t maul against Ireland. Mauling is one of our power plays and a hallmark of Bok rugby. So you’re saying we simply do not have an answer to Ireland’s technical/tricky dismantling of a maul contest? That’s shocking (!). It also explains why we didn’t kick to the corner in the RWC game where that would otherwise have been the obvious play; and hence why we lost that game as our goal kicker went walkabout. This loss has unfortunately diminished the Bok team in my eyes by quite a bit and I think Ireland can still rightfully claim to be the best team in the world.
