@@Thecraig909I watched some of the very first videos of that car when you started on the metal work. I found the process very impressive and satisfying from what it started out as. For a California car I would of thought that it would of started out more solid lol. Regardless I am interested to see what path you will take with it. Sorry if my last comment was a bit annoying lol

Love watching you get in and do it like you want to do . Here's a trick you can use. Try sticking the belt up through the bench seat next to the hinge. That way it is still anchored in the right place but now it won't dangle out the door when you remove it and get out. Work on my grandfather's truck when I was a young lad.
I really hope the FE stays in this truck as long as you have it. Wicked cool to see one still out there and working hard as it should.
Super duty 4x4 swap is a must for the crew cab
Get a piece of walnut from Home Depot and make a decorative wood panel for the bottom half of the door card that covers that speaker hole. That’s what I did and it looks very stylish
Cool now You need to start building a FE 390 for the Crew Cab. 😁👌
I think a 460 would do better for pulling his cars but a 390 would be pretty cool

I am excited to do the same with my 93 dually crew cab f350 and my 93 single cab longbed f150. That’s so awesome Craig looks sweet together. I just recently bought a new daily. An 800 dollar 96 ford explorer sport with a manual transmission, my first manual transmission vehicle and I love it. Had to sell the beater work truck ranger project I got last year with a blown motor and swapped in a motor. I was gonna v8 swap and build it into a race truck but I needed a reliable daily and couldn’t justify dumping more money into a beat old ranger
The to 71 Ford's look so sweet
I had a 74 plymouth trailduster with metal door cards. Some cut holes for speakers also. I ended up just sticking speakers that weren't connected to anything in to cover the holes. Sucks when people hack things up.

To prove Craig's theory the bumper is not going anywhere for at least 2 or 3 years and then he will fix it right, the other bumper with the Factory rear of the frame cut off was bent where the ball hit was but it did not come off!!!
I think I've said this before, but I really hope you do a stroked 460 big block for the crew cab. It would be a pulling MACHINE

My bet is someone torched a big fabbed bumper off it for something else at some point, then later someone put the silver bumper on the best they could.

I got 2 sets of those west coast mirrors this week for free... I've had all new hardware, glass, gaskets, etc for forever just needed the arms..... got lucky and my buddy and his uncle both gave me a set, getting them fixed up now to put on my 73 highboy
