My system doesn't have the storage compartment. It has a radio bc I have the navigation system above. Do I just skip the part for the storage compartment?

Metra 95-7870G (grey which is a dark grey/blackish) Metra 95-7870T (taupe, kind of beige in color) There are also other brands like Scosche, American International, etc.

Does the subwoofer still work? Crutchfield website says adding after-market stereo disables the subwoofer in the Ridgeline.

Happy to share! I don't recall whether or not we were able to retain steering wheel controls-- an additional CAN BUS module may be required.

I can use the spotify function on mine with bluetooth, i don't need to connect it via USB. I guess there was a software update.

Some sensors may need to recalibrate (on their own with driving) and your clock may need to be reset
The speakers on the ridgeline suck. I'd consider checking out speakers and installation before buying a head unit
