Volcanoids is a first-person, base building survival game set in the steampunk era where humans and technology meet. Explore a volcanic island, operating giant drills and enduring eruptions triggered by a mechanical race of beings.

Thank you so much! Well it's been in Early Access for almost 2 years but it's hard to tell really, there's so many ideas haha. Definitely, we just want to polish the game some more before we dive into the console port.

How will I get selected for the alpha release trailer? I signed up for the email list but that's it. Are testers limited to a certain number? You might want to call the video alpha release Trailer because people might get confused.
Yes, we have a limited amount of keys available for the Alpha. If you signed up for the email list then you're all set! We'll let you know if you get selected.
I love this game and I feel like it will only get better so I want to give a recommendation on what you need to work on. The graphics are my main issue with this game, they do not ruin the whole experience but I know you guys can do better with making the world feel a bit more real.

Thank you, the main goal is to silence the volcano. The eruptions are triggered by a special technology that the enemy robots use.
One CZcamsr complained about the "mechanical" specific timing between eruptions... but once you know _what is_ causing the eruptions, it makes perfect sense.

Different types of colors and paint details on the surface of the drillship + logos are planned in the roadmap. For the special early access drillship visual, we have to first find a way how to "lock" the version to be used only for early players. Will get there tho :)

Will volcanoids be on ps4-ps5
The game is designed in a way, that should easily allow porting to consoles. So the plan to enter the console market is there. Still, right now we want to focus on PC Early access version first, and move to consoles once the game is more polished.

Check the steam link that they posted. It is early access. There is nothing wrong with Early Access when it is done right like "Factorio", "Oxygen Not Included", "They are Billions" and many successful released early access like "Rimworld" & "Dead Cells". They are pro & cons to everything.
We are aware of the bad reputation that Early Access has these days. That is why we have videos covering game development from the very beginning and sharing everything about the project. You can also check our Discord where we actively communicate with the community and ask for feedback. The game just recently entered Alpha on Steam, and was nearly half a year for free so that anyone could download it and give it a try. There is a clear roadmap and so far we always delivered what was set. If there is more that could be done to proof the game is not a cash grab, please let us know.
Im sure this game will be mind blowing like subnautica its hard to get a Orginal idea of game.

Tried the game, was boring as hell did a refund.. looks good but gameplay it self is so repetitieve it gets boring within 2 hours..
