Volcanoids Combat Update - Release Trailer

As many of you mentioned, combat was the weakest aspect of the game. But not anymore. This update completely changes the combat experience with new guns, gear, enemies, turrets, and overhauled weapon mechanics.

Man, this is around the time I started getting back into Volcanoids. So much has changed, this game has really become a gem. Keep on going, this game has so much potential.

Musics got that galaxy quest meets 1812 overture saturday matinee doug mcclure b-movie epic adventure vibe to it.
This game is like reverse Subnautica, Its on ground, cool graphics, cool game elements, original idea, and a cool game in general, also it has guns.
Unique mobile base survival game with amazing potential. More immersion elements would make this game go on a different level. Keep up the fantastic work everyone.

you should make a furniture update where you can place couches beds and stuff also maybe make them be drivable on land and after you complete the game you go to a different island or something like that and maybe make it that you can customize your character
Furniture : planned
Bed : already a thing.
Driving the ship on land : Denied, impossible.
Going on another island : why ? The whole point of the game is to reclaim this specific island.
Character customization : planned

Are you guys still providing random Alpha/Beta Keys? I received one for the EARLY EARLY release, before any updates had arrived, and then wasn't able to play it after that update.

Now after trying out the combat update I'm seriously wondering how the hell did marksman dude get on the top of the house there....
Haha, it wasn't easy but we did get up there without some parkour and no cheats. However the houses will get reworked soon anyway

I got the game about 2 months ago and i am loving it. You guys should make it so that you can close the drill ship walls while surfaced. Also i want to build floors in my drill ships. I had a floor module from an enemy drill ship but lost it. About what point in the game are you able to make floor modules?
So glad to hear that! Interesting idea, but since they are destructible it would be very op. You should be able to craft floors pretty early on.

Fun facts how i discovered this game hahaha read it down...
I was playing division 2 and there is a mision in new york undergrounds where a big Drill machine is drilling the ground and i got amazed by that monster machine so i went on youtube watching these drill machines and looking at the random videos i ended up on one of this game video and now i want to play it haha

If I had known this was going to be a shooter, I would never have bought the game. I'm very disappointed.
I wouldn't say it's a shooter really. There are other aspects in the game (base-building, resource management), combat is one of them and it was the most lacking. That's why we dedicated this update to it.
@@Volcanoids The shooter aspect has grown continuously. Base-building and resource management steadily lost their importance. One is constantly forced into battles, often mining is not even possible without fighting hordes of opponents.
The problem is: It never will be a "good" shooter, but forcing this aspect made the game losing it's core component. Not the best decision.
@@aenzian Yet people were complaining about the bad, dull combat. So what should they do ?
This update didn't give more importance to the combat. It just made it better, smoother. You don't need to fight more than you did previously. The other aspects of the game are still as important as they were in the previous updates.
This game isn't a shooter. This isn't CoD or Titanfall or what. This game has a big focus on base building, but they're also trying to make all the aspects nice and satisfying to play.
