I’m with you on this one. Just need it to be compatible with more chargers available like the Superchargers and then you can take it cross country!

Not sure about the comment about EV eating tires. I am coming up 140 000 km on my Kona EV. I have snow tires and summer (all season) this spring is when I have to buy new summer tires. Which is about the same I usually have done with all my previous gasoline cars. The plug in hybrid still need to have the oil changes and transmission services over 5 years I am.not convinced that will make a large difference in costs.

Totally agree. Couldn’t disagree more with the host. He’s stoked about the 40 mile electric range you get on a Rav 4 Prime, but that’s the same as a 2013 Chevy Volt. Hybrids are way more complex with many more parts and much greater exposure to expensive repairs.

I like the look of the VW ID.Buzz. Not a fan of no rear window on the Polestar. I wouldn't want to drive a car without one!

None of them can provide you with a shorter sitting time for charging, none of them can provide you with long range, like 500 miles. None of them are reliable in super cold weather and they all are expensive. I'll keep the 570 miles of range which supersedes any EV in America, with my Jaguar XJL....
