Very interesting vehicle. Pricing will obviously be the kicker here, and my gut says it will lean toward more enthusiast van than traditional minivan.

Some 'normal' colors would probably help them sell a ton. I'm out on the electrics but it's a fun vehicle for sure. Awesome reviews as always, Kelly!
I saw on some forums that they were going to have some solid colors. Maybe it might be the two-one that they roll out first, but they had solid black, navy, orange, yellow, green, white and gray. Only time will tell if that forum post was accurate though....

It would be nice if they actually sold it here. I rented one in Europe over a year ago and wanted to buy the US version. Was told by VWoA that it would be soon. Here we are over a year later and here we sit with videos of how great it is at a car show but nothing when it comes to the specs or pricing.
What's even worse is that I just drove a co workers ID Buzz GTX when I was in Germany last week. Guess what, it's the LWB version like we will get in the US. Again, love it but can't buy it because VWoA has some strange hangup on this product. I'm guessing they are worried about the pricing structure.
I also have a 1968 Bus and a 2003 Eurovan. So, I like the idea of the Bus but VW is going to lose out if they don't get this to market here. Then it'll be like my Eurovan. Sell it for a while, overpriced and sales are in the toilet. Stop selling them here and thus after 10 years you are out of luck for parts.
It’s great in nearly every respect… except for the fact it’s electric. Our 10-12 hour drives to see the grands a few times per year are long enough. Really unfortunate. 😢

So for those few times, just rent a car why base your choice on a event that happens infrequently

We will still have a Honda minivan along side this for long trips. But this will be the ultimate day tripper I think.
You drive 12 hours without stopping for a restroom break, to stretch your legs, or eat? Depending on the fast charge capabilities it may not add much time at all if you are traveling major roads.
