I can't think of a way to wrap up the story in a truly satisfying way. If they make it so that there is only one prime timeline and the lifestream is no longer fractured into all these other realities, people will just be pissed that they introduced a completely useless plot device. If other timelines do continue to exist, then all the events we've been through are cheapened since there will just be different versions of our characters in other realities and it basically gives everyone their own fan fiction universe, and the worst part is that this would allow for them to milk DLC indefinitely.

Focus on things effected by it, because it's impossible to make trime-travel factual before you end up having the plot fall apart doing so. And after how many games they’ve used and abused that plot device, this was the last entry that ever needed it added in. We got tired of this plot point in every DC event comic, we don’t need Final Fantasy to keep unnecessarily repeating it either, especially not in a damn “remake” for a game that never had it or needed it in the first place.

I enjoyed the first Kingdom Hearts for what it was, but the it all went downhill after that. Overly confusing, pretentious, and utterly cringe writing and original characters, masquerading as 'depth' (I presume). The initial charm and craziness of seeing Disney and JRPG characters in a crossover is long dead - especially as the Disney inclusions have gotten progressively more of an afterthought, serving as little more than padding so we can get to the 'important' stuff (aka: cringe Organization XIII, Sora and his fifteen clones, etc etc).
Then again, it's not like Disney would even let the developers do anything with their precious IPs other than rehash the existing plots from their respective films with little to no changes. I'm pretty sure Disney only ever approved this concept in the first place because they see it as nothing more than an extended advertisement for themselves.

So in this remake their playing with the concept of multiple timelines, three of them, one with the main crew with cloud, one where Aerith is alive after city of the ancients, and one where Zack is alive, and at moments the alternate timelines converge together.
None of this was in the origin, and this kind of storytelling is troubling. Aeriths death was so impactful in the original, because she simply was dead, but her death allowed her to guide the lifestream to help destroy meteor in the end, making her sacrifice significant.
In this, by having her alive post her death in some capacity, it cheapens the magnitude of her death, because even if the others can't see her alterate reality self walking around, we can, and so we don't feel the same things that tifa, red, yuffie and the others feel.
Time travel and alternative timeline stories just make a mess.

    • @obsessive_hermit
      @obsessive_hermit Před 2 měsíci +3

Indeed. A multiverse means that the characters are no longer unique, and so it becomes more difficult to care about them and/or feel grief when they die. It's more akin to someone moving to a different town than having to cope with them actually dying.

Damn dude. This was your Mount Everest. What a challenge!!! Well done!!!
So here's my thought: in Doctor Who, even though they can travel through time and space, the Doctor makes clear that there's some events in history that are hard coded to every reality. For example, no matter what anyone does, Pompeii will be destroyed and everyone will die. No matter what anyone does, it can't be changed, and attempting to do so will either fail at best, or undo reality at worst.
Aerith has to die and join the lifestream. The world can't be saved otherwise. Cloud can try to undo it, but the results will always be the same. I don't like this, but the writers have decided that some things just can't be undone.
Is this whole experiment just a fever dream of a bad writer? Probably. Is it just another way to cash in on nostalgia for better games in a better age? You betcha. Is this better than getting Forspoken 2? Getting several STDs at once would be better than that. Will it withstand the test of time and be looked back on favorably? Absolutely not.
The best thing to come out of this series is your video. You can barely contain your enthusiasm, and it's exciting just to hear you talk about it. Excellent work, ML. It's refreshing just to hear a gamer talk about how much they like games for a change.

He's been shoved in our faces far too much, to the point that even in the 'remake' trilogy, he seemingly shows up in person every twenty minutes or so just to remind you that yeah, I'm Sephiroth and I'm cool.
But it's just not cool anymore. The air of mystery and awe from the OG game is gone completely. I mean, by the end of Rebirth, Sephiroth has now had his ass handed to him over and over again by every main character in the game. Yeah, he's not dead yet, but it's just getting really silly now. While I understand the importance of the game expansion or being told in multiple parts, FFVII games size is 100 gigs. For one quarter of the games story. That's not a game. Its a demo with a sixty dollar price tag.
Also, I can't help but think of it this way:
Red Dead Redemption 2 has an install disc. The space required is 100 gigs. I havent played it, but Im willing to guess The game is longer to finish than FFVII remake, and has a larger world than FFVII remake.
The Witcher 3, which I have played has half the size of FFVII Remake, and probably has a bigger map than rebirth.
Lastly, Dark Souls 3 also probably has a bigger world than FFVII, and is merely just at least sixty gigs.
All of these games with the exception of one, came in one complete whole product.
Also, the first remake is for PS4, then PS5, now the second part comes out for the PS5 ... and not for the PS4?
    My main point is this:
If this product has to be split into multiple parts, there has to be more pacing and theres none of that in the remakes. There's no pace because that would mean taking your time, and Remake doesn't wanna take it's time with the story or giving answers. Everything has to come at you at breakneck speed, so that you somehow] Don't notice the details.
If the story slows down for one second you spot the details, but if you say anything about those details that doesn't sound positive about it, you're the problem. For just saying anything. For any kind of criticism whatsoever.

people wanted a remake, not a reboot. i dunno how much people there are in the age range of 30-40 here but since the first ps2 tech demo of ff8 showed up people wanted a "remake" of ff7 seeing the graphical possibilities. Nobody wanted a change of story
A remake is not about changing its story but enhancing it, show more indepth on character as well like they did with Jessys sidestory about the mako reactor explosion being too big. Good they catched up on that; thats what a Remake is about.
People like to argue that a Remake is a personal opinion; no its not. because we still have the term "Reboot" which means telling a new story which FF7 basically is. Changed characters, locations, changed characteristics, pacing and other stuff.
Dear FF7 Reboot lovers; is it so difficult to accept that SquareEnix brought up false advertising by saying its a Remake rather than a reboot?
If they wouldve ended the Remake after Motorball without all the ghost-BS and Chapter 18 this couldve been a good entry to the Remake. But it wasnt...
Also I agree on Sephiroth showing up early in the Remake as well. Just destroys the immersion, as well as Jenova. The gf of my brother never played the og ff7 and when we talked about the ending she didnt understand a thing and she was really upset to some degree. Just shows that even people which didnt play the og wanted a "normal" game instead of some multiverse/different universe BS. People are sick of that. Just do a normal story with a normal ending.

    • @themorbidkid187

Final Fantasy is anything but normal, which is exactly what makes it "fantasy". You have guys swinging around 300LB swords like its a tennis racket, all kinds of crazy ass mutated creatures, ppl that can use magic, airships that from a physics standpoint, would not fly successfully but does anyways cuz it looks cool design wise, giant kaiju planet protectors that show up when it is dying, the list goes on.
My point here is everyone can suspend their disbelief for all this crazy bs ^ but the moment they add in anything time/space related all of a sudden it is wrong? Not to mention the fact that we don't even have the full story yet and we have a bunch of ppl saying its ass already when nobody even truly knows wtf is going on exactly and won't until the final game.
Also, the actual definition of the word "Remake" - make (something) again or differently. Key words there, "make (something) again or differently" which is EXACTLY what SE is doing, so no..... they did NOT lie or mislead anyone, and is not SE's fault for ppl not having the understanding of the term Remake.
Also 90-95% of the story is unchanged across the entirety of the first 2 games, all the major story beats and events are for the most part still present, just told from a bit different perspective or told in a way that would make more sense in the modern age, and in most cases adds more depth to these moments granted not all the time. The character depth is better explored more than it has ever been. Everyone seems to forget that if things are indeed missing in parts 1-2 then they will most likely be addressed somewhere in part 3 but most ppl do not have the patience to wait that long. The trade off of this is we got much deeper backstory to each of the characters and much more in depth world building.
Sephiroth being shown early on is fine for both vets and new players in my opinion. Vets already know about Sephiroth and so him showing up early, messing with clouds head and seeing the dynamic between the two of them only adds to the experience as a vet. As for most new players I think it builds intrigue, as a new player will be wondering who Sephiroth is and wonder why cloud is having visions of him. There is a reason Sephiroth shows up as much as he does, and that is because this is not the same sephiroth from the 1997 original.
I understand these games might not be for everyone but they are definitely not for the ignorant or close minded. The game is not perfect, it does have some flaws of course, but overall I believe what it set out to do, it does, and does it well.

Applied: Final Fantasy VII OG story occurs, we have that story from 1997-2020 (Everyone loves it), Sephiroth goes back in time, the same story happens again with some ridiculous changes, and they call it a sequel. Now we've opened up to time travel and Multiverses.
How can one story told twice in a row be called a sequel and not a reboot or reimagining?!
If you wrote a story like that in a middle school creative writing class you'd get an F! Because IT'S NOT CREATIVE! It's lazy and sloppy!
Imagine if Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 1867, published it, everyone loved it and then he wrote the same story a second time 10 years later in 1877 with some minor changes and then published it calling it a "Sequel to Tom Sawyer?!" People would think he was crazy! Nobody would buy that shit!

@@tigerfist341 The word remaster typically refers to audio but can also apply to video as well. In the case of a video game the word remaster means to remaster the music and visuals of a game. As in updating the graphics/textures ect... and or updating the audio that already exists from the original and that is it.
Remake means exactly that. To REMAKE it... Not mine or SE's fault ppl are fkin stupid and don't understand the difference between the two.

Also seeing as you want to mention the word reboot as well. Normally this word is used when referring to a PC reboot, but can also be used in the context of the complete recreation of a series. An example would be the original Devil May Cry vs DMC. The gameplay is roughly the same, but everything else about them are totally different.
What's funny is you try telling me I'm trying to redefine words when they mean exactly what they mean, I guess the dictionary is wrong lmao.

This game is a generic Ubisoft title grafted with FF7 as its skin.
God, I hope Squeenix is replaced with developers and leaders who actually understand and respect the FF franchise (or just gaming and gamers, in general). Like Soyny, their push for a "modern audience" is the reason why FF is dogshit, along with how badly they need to tard-wrangle their top dogs (Nomura, Nojima, Yoriyama, Kitase) yet don't. Give me big tittied Tifa in her original outfit and sailor-mouthed, smoking Cid!
At this point I hope they go bankrupt cuz Squeenix has given me zero fucks to care, given their record of separating integral story elements into other media projects to increase monetization.

wahou, thank you for the explanations because i just finished Rebirth yesterday and i didn't grasp it all. I played the original 2 - 3 times when it released, but i never played it from start to finish since then, so not only are my memories hazy, but the new story adds several new elements and some can only be fully understood if you notice little details (which i often missed 😅).
I liked the game 100% but the story of this episode is not its stronger point; I really, really, hope the last episode (and maybe an intermediate game, like they did with Reunion) will truly make the trilogy whole and the story really make sense once everything has been released.
Also, the Aeris final scene, in the original i really cried, and each time i've seen Aeris make appearances in different projects since, or hear her music, i have a tear coming; But here, i felt nothing but confusion and this is a real bummer because, in the original, it's THE defining moment why i i hated Sepiroth for real and wanted to hunt him through the universe. And this strong feeling was taken away from us and it's quite sad; Even the fight vs Jenova doesn't bear the grief like the original did (just because of the music).

Even beyond the pants on head retarded story changes, the model can get fucked. They absolutely could've made this into one game, but chose to split it because money and because "Muh billion dolla open world". The fact that this is gonna end up spanning 3 whole console generations in absolutely insane.
That being said, I do look forward to playing FF1-12 + some of the spinoffs. Why only 1-12? 13 was my first FF game, and I dropped it after 2 hours. 14 Looks interesting, but it's an MMO, so fuck that. I followed the absolute shitshow of 15, and I'm not going anywhere near that. Then there's 16, which just looks bland as hell to me. On an unrelated note, the fact that both Final Fantasy (a turn based JRPG) and Sonic (a 2d mascot platformer) have both ended up as open world character action games is insane and sad in that "evolution" in gamig basically just means homogenization.

The devs said it will link not lead into AC which could mean anything and would not dwell on it too much. As far as the multiverse thing it might not be as it seems. The lifestream is made of the memories of those who lived and died, it could be that the planet after the events of the first game is having a 'Cloud' moment and creating false memories due to jenova's spiritual form now having free roam in the lifestream. This in turn creating a lot of negative memories causing the lifestream to corrupt so that Jenova/Sephiroth can kind of feed of it. Zack is a kinda like Tidus at the start of FFX. FF7 OG is what the planet wants to happen all humans dead and Jenova/Sephiroth trapped in it's prison that why they refer to it as bad in the first game it still did happen and is not a different timeline. As for Sephiroth he still wants the same thing to travel the cosmos and corrupt and absorb everything. But who knows for sure we won't know for sure till the last game.

The big dealbreaker for me isn't just the story, it's that the post-story content abuses the players time. Brutal challenges are one thing, BUT when the player needs to re-do a bunch of fights they have beaten before, several times, just for another attempt to practice where they failed, it becomes a tedious chore. Think of it like this. There is a half hour cutscene you need to watch prior to fighting an extra hard boss, capable of one shotting you. If you fail an attempt, then you must sit through that half hour cutscene again. You have to pay perfect attention to that cutscene or it to will restart. - That was my dealbreaker in FF7 Remake with the post story content, and after beating them I was pissed at all the time wasted. Rebirth tripples down on the boss rush challenges, and again, forces the player to re-do stuff they already know they can beat, but in an extreme time wasted way. The OGFF7 had some tough boss rush stuff at the Gold Saucer, but it was nowhere near as much of a chore. I'd rather be washing dishes. At least then I could listen to a podcast and not need to pay perfect attention to the repetitive chore.

Been watching your video on some occasion. And I belive, your whole video is on point. My biggest problems with the game however is how they handled this whole mess of a plotpoint.
Not sure if you mentioned it, but they also f*cked up Dyne's death. In the Original, it has so much impact and tells us, that we should never, ever become what we hate: Our worst enemy is ourselves. For the context, there was a dialogue that was cut out in Rebirth. That dialogue, was when Dyne talks about visiting Marlene and "sending her after her mother". Plus in the OG, Dyne realized after the fight, that he also lost something "irreplaceable". Mainly, his humanity. So he tosses his pendant to Barret, tells him to show it to his men and give it to Marlene. And Dyne wanted Barret to promise, that he shall never make Marlene cry. In Rebirth, not long after the "How could I ever hold my daughter ever again" line, Shinra soldiers show up out of nowhere and Dyne goes down in a hail of bullets (WTF?!). And then Dyne literally smites Barret, telling him that he should live with his regrets forever.
Also...The optional date. Personally, I don't mind the pairings you can make in Rebirth. But I do mind one thing: Shipping Wars. You might not know the series called RWBY, but that show was partially destroyed, because the writers decided to give in to the loudest voices of the community. Mainly, the shippers, who wanted their favorite ship to become canon. And I have a sneaking suspiscion, that Nomura and the writers also made the same mistake. Like I said, I don't mind any of the pairings, especially the Cloud x Tifa pairing. But that must have raised a huge number of people into toxicity and begun to harass others, if they disagree. Personally...I would prefer to pair canon characters with my OCs, but I'm afraid that I would relive some unpleasent memories... 🥺
There is also the ending. I wanted to add some addition on this. I belive that the writers wanted the emotional impact from Aerith's death. But they didn't actually wanted her to begone from the story, so they decided to cheat instead. And my book says this: If you want your audiance to cry over Aerith's death, then kill her off. Plain and simple. If you want to commit yourself to the changes, then don't kill her off. Have the others show up as Cloud and Aerith fights Sephiroth and saving her will be guranteed. However, the writers did both cases. Which came out as confusing, emotionally manipulative and nostalgia bait.
Sorry for the kind of long comment, MugenLord. But this is my personal thoughts. I hate the changes they have commited... And I cannot possibly think what the writers will do during the third part, considering on what Nomura and the other devs said. For example: The devs said, that it doesn't matter where Aerith is, Sephiroth always kills her off. And when I was reading the comments about Nomura wanting to give the remake trilogy a happy ending then two examples came to me. KH3 and FF 13 Lightning Returns.

And I'm so sick of it... We should be able to think, using logical sense to comprehend the story. We should be more open minded, because if we won't do that, we just becoming a mindless robot, who consumes everything without logical sense. We should handle criticism with more respect and care, not with anger or blindness.
We all might have different thoughts, but we should respect opinions and discuss it maturely.

This video is for those who are on the wall when it comes to determining if they want to give the game a shot and for the fans of the original who won't play this game but still wants to know how bad they fucked the story up. We have one more game to go, and finally, I can put all of this together to make sense of it all.

I completed the game in both normal and hard mode...and I can sum up my thoughts in one statement.
They are doing way too much. And I mean this in both a good way (Mechanically) and DEFINATELY a bad way. (Story, characters and the multiverse crap.)

It's not to lead into advent children. This is a sequel to the original game and advent children. From what I can tell, the sephiroth from advent children is somehow able to send his mind into the past and is trying to change everything.
It's not a remake in the sense of the devs remaking the game for us, its a remake as in sephiroth is trying to remake the universe in his image.
It's nomura, what did you expect.

They ruined Cid. They ruined a very heart felt moment with Barret and Dyne by having us fight Palmer in a goofy scene.
Sephiroth is just some annoying villain spouting convoluted bs at eveey 5 minutes in the game.
They made Cloud into a schizo instead of someone who is under Jenova/Sephiroth's control.
They turned Vincent into some Shinra grunt when he would never stay working for shinra after what they did to him lol. Wtf.
Yuffie is annoying af and always running away for no reason. Talks about materia all the freaking time! Wtf! Give her an arc, wheres Wutai??
Also, whats their obsession with musicals and goofy scenes? It takes away from the seriousness and creates a big disconnect.
You liked Nibel? Heck no! That was supposed to be a Shinra conspiracy and cover up and they turned it into some care for jenova dudes? Who are those families and children then?
Aerith's mom was shot and was dying but they just daid oh she was frail hahaha. Shes an ancient, but she's frail? And Cid knows her now?? And he didn't notice the woman was dying but was thirsting after her???
Sephiroth is the last boss of eveu installment now and that dude is not a threat like in the original. I don't feel any stakes that are high here. He's just some goofy villain now and we know we beating him eveey turn.

well people wanted to save aerith since 1997. It did but in a very confusing manner lol. This is why I always suggest people to go the aerith date because otherwise its gonna feel like they skipped an important cutscene that would had made the ending more relevant.
    the music is 10/10
mini games are so so, some fun some others are a tedius chore
I enjoyed the chocobos a lot
some scenes where great "like the loveless and aerith singing her love letter to cloud"
    Final boss is too long
sometimes the whispers "feelers" wouldnt let you appreciate the scene or enviorment.

Thank to that T rating and all the censorship, we will never get to see the Reactor scene in its full weight and brutality. Sephiroth should be steeped in the blood of innocent villagers, his guts spilling out from the gaping wound in his side, a rabid monster.. and Cloud, this country kid who thought he was nothing, defeats THAT.

    @gt.2k Před 3 měsíci +1

Wait, so according to your take at the end, Aerith pulled an Obi-Wan Kenobi and became one with the Force (Lifestream)? That actually makes sense. Is that why they didn't show Cloud submerging Aerith's body? Cuz there's no body at all in the Remake timeline. Still, I agree the multiverse stuff just makes everything else unnecessarily convoluted.

    • @MugenLord
      @MugenLord  Před 3 měsíci +2

That's a great observation, I was mad that they never showed her body dropped into the water. There maybe a reason for it or SE just fucked up one of the most iconic moments in the game.

    • @SuperWallace78
      @SuperWallace78 Před 3 měsíci

Maybe they did submerge her body. They just didn't show us that... I mean something was done, it's obvious when they are all sitting by the water mourning except Cloud. Possibly Tifa submerged her since it seemed to bother her the most. Cloud doesn't see Aerith as being dead. So in his mind she is still there. All I know for sure is this is an absolute mess! We've gone from two or three multiuniverse to several now! It is so bad that I don't think they can even begin to explain it so it makes any real sense now... Totally gotten out of hand!

    • @SuperWallace78
      @SuperWallace78 Před 3 měsíci

Not to mention Clouds mind is so fractured... We don't know what is true with anything regarding Clouds narrative. Then you throw in all of the multiuniverse crap they got going on. Pretty much impossible to decipher out anything substantial in this story now.

It's a shame that Vincent and Cid aren't even playable in this. Cid didn't have to join even in the original. Had he not been dealing with Shinra trying to use his rocket, he could have been an NPC in the original as well. I am greteful he was playable years ago. The modders for 7th Heaven are the MVPs making the original feel like a remake with the crazy mods they have been whipping up. Now there is a mod with an expanded story for Jessie.

Thanks for the good analysis of the game.
I did not like overall plot of rebirth at all. And i can feel that writer is the same as in KH1, kh2 and ff7 compilation
    - Sephiroth is an annoying, uninteresting character. Also it feels that he wants to Kiss Cloud or smthg
    - story is very slow
    - character development is missing for some characters, because plot is splitted and we should expect characters growth later
    - there were some strange logic of the characters. And sometimes you feel that characters even dumb.
    - Zack should be important only as a character for Cloud character arc in the memory section. Other things with him are not interesting at all and fan fiction for me
    - multiverses are not interesting
    - due to rating and overall style, the game missed horror/dirty style of the original. No massacare, blood, scary seph/jenova alien stuff, Cid is very polite man, Dyne suicide.
    - Dyne arc was done good, but ending suffers a lot due to meaning and what character says to Barrett at the end
I am not expecting anything from the third game. Same as i was not expecting anything from Rebirth after Remake

New to your channel and loved hearing your thoughts on it. From my perspective as on OG FF7 fan. Damn .. can't believe im already close to pushing 40 😂. But back to this game... I don't see the overall change, its still very much the old Game we grew up and loved. Minor little changes sure but it has interrupted the overall scale of the story events weve come to love, not yet anyways. We will just have to see what happens in the final game. Aerith is dead. As long as they keep her that way than im cool no matter how they flesh it out. As far as Zack and Cloud fighting side by side, that was no doubt fan service. Not gonna lie, that shit was awesome 😎

As for someone who didn't play the OG when it came out. I somehow missed the FF7 train growing up. All I can say is this. Final Fantasy 7 Remake got me into Final fantasy franchise. Now Final fantasy 7 Rebirth makes me wish I never played the games.
I dont see the point of the Trilogy. It will take 12 years and almost 210 dollars for a full experience. For a story that is 90% the same and 10% different. Its whats the point of it? I understand all roads leads to Advent children and Dirge of Cerberus. Im more curious about Dirge of Cerberus now.
I have no attachments to the OG story or OG cast. I do hope we get a multiple endings like Chrono Trigger. You get the bad ending where Sephiroth wins and you get the good ending where everyone is happy. This story is all over the place. But it probably will end the same way as the OG game.

I didn’t get the game but kept my eyes and ears on this game. Just like I expected.
The gameplay does look fun and I don’t mind it even though I would’ve loved a return to Turn-Based.
When people wanted a Remake we wanted the original game and it’s story with new graphics, fix some old issues, and enchant and expand on character and lore.
We didn’t want a Reboot. I hate how Remake is being misused nowadays.
I never wanted an Open World for FF7 especially with how there’s too much stuff. Even the Chocobo bits look bad except for swimming.
They even changed characters like Cid! I’m happy Yuffie and Vincent get expanded on, but sheesh the story is awkward.
The whole timeline thing is ridiculous. You can blame Kitase and Nojima for that (Nomura has nothing to do with FF7R’s story) especially when Kitase is ashamed for the OG story for whatever reasons.
Splitting the game into three parts. Why not have a single game with two discs or compressed everything in one disc?
People say they didn’t have the technology to remake 7. Technology for what? Adding the Whispers who shouldn’t exist?
I wanted a Remake to give a fresh coat of paint and re-live the old game in a new way for even newer generation to experience what we experienced.
I knew they screw up the story, but man they dropped the ball. I was so confused on how they handle Aerith’s fate. I was shocked in the OG… Remake thought it was stupid.
Even Dyne’s backstory got nutted. Him taking a nosedive to show how far gone he was and didn’t want his daughter to see him like this and gave Barrett his blessing.
Remake took a dunk on it.
Sorry for the rant. I just don’t like how Remakes are being handled nowadays compared to RE1 when that’s still the best take on Remakes in gaming history.

    • @obsessive_hermit

This is a distinction without a difference. The scene where AU Aerith gives "prime" Cloud the White Materia so that he can use it in the "prime" universe CLEARLY shows that the alternate universes are tangible--they are REAL places with real, corporeal people and objects; not illusions or hypothetical visions of what could have happened otherwise. Handwaving it as "lifestream shenanigans" does not change this fact. Actually, trying to handwave it as "lifestream nonsense" just makes it worse, because it makes even less sense than if it were a conventional multiverse. Sephiroth's line about how: "THE PLANET (singular) encompasses a multitude of WORLDS (plural)" is one of the stupidest oxymorons I've ever heard. It's FF7R's equivalent of FFXIII-2's: "If you change the future, you change the past."

    • @HXXXXWXXN
      @HXXXXWXXN Před 2 měsíci +1

@@obsessive_hermit Its not tho. @Salmark9080 is right. The lifestream and its multiple worlds which was created after Sephiroth consumed the whispers at the end of Remake are made up of hopes, dreams and memories. This is also why the materia is able to be transfered, because materia is made of Memories/Prayer. Also, the materia was never physically handed off to Cloud, it was a symbolic transference of memories.
