They could not live with their failure...where did it lead them? Back to gamers! But dont let it fool you, all they care about is how they can make the most money possible, damned if the ACTUAL content they have studios like Blooper Team pumping out is actually good or not. Just do the thing that is socially acceptable, artistic merit and talent be damned! May the hastag #FuckKonami NEVER DIE!

The only thing I have a problem with is Angela's face, that's it. Everything else looks great. As far as the gameplay, I actually don't mind this. I don't get why the gameplay is getting so much backlash when the Resident Evil 2 Remake was pretty much accepted for not having fixed camera angles. I will give them a chance.

If they want people to give them a chance then the best thing they can do is take the feedback into account and try their best to implement it. That alone would help get some of the more skeptical people to give them a chance by creating some level of good will towards them. It’s like they said themselves in the article: “trust is earned through actions, not through words”. I will give some level of credit though, this response, in spite of its shortcomings, is not the worse I’ve ever seen. They could’ve turned around and tried to frame the people with concerns as perverted weirdos like a lot of gaming journos are trying to do now.

I think people would have given them a chance if this "modern audience" stuff didn't saturate media. My good man, I know on the outside, Bloober Team makes it seem as if they are passionate developers that are falling victims to stubborn fans, but trust me bro, they're behaving this way cuz they know they fucked up HARD lol. It's playing on the sympathy card so that they could take the attention off their wrong doings. I am a HUGE Silent Hill fan, especially a HARDCORE fan of Silent Hill 2. Bro, the original Silent Hill 2 is like grandma's secret recipe, it can't be replicated, no matter what. However, fans wouldn't mind if they were to Demonstrate ADVANCED understanding of the source material (the game is very rich in lore. If us fans came together and put years of effort to figure out the hidden details of the story without getting paid for it, then Bloober Team should do above and beyond while GETTING PAID). I can confidently speak for a lot of hardcore silent hill 2 fans out there when I say they already spat in our faces with the first revel trailer. They just proved to us that they DO NOT share our knowledge and understanding of the series, and they just think it's "oh, it's about trauma, weird monsters for the sake of being weird, dark-edgy stuff, pyramid head and nurses". DEFINATELY not giving them a chance. I wish they did a remake of the first silent hill (not counting shattered memories) so that we could see if they were a good fit for part 2. But no, they want to IMMEDIETLY jump to the most beloved game in the series. Just chasing that paper and not even hiding it lol.

Absolutely love silent hill franchise! But not buying this crap. The devs are not right for this game. 1to 1 remake with better graphics. Damn simple. I am not giving it a chance at all.

The problems that I've seen so far with this remake, is James expressions are reveled to look too dramatic. The Lying Figure and Pyramid Head's reveal sure, anybody would be shocked; but the OG; SH2 he always looked slightly expressionless, depressed, confused, had always left me questioning his overall mood. The revelation, at the end of the game, is when things are supposed to show their true motives; and not reveal it too early like in the trailers. Another thing I've noticed was, the Brookhaven Hospital reveal with Maria. The lighting being cast from the outside windows looks too sunny and warm as if the fog disappeared. If you recall, the fog never disappears and the sun casts, a greyish hue when transition between outside areas. It's these important details that are causing me to not hold my breath as I too will be waiting for streaming or mods if things get really out of hand for damage control.

Sure, ill give a chance. Release a Demo first. Not a pre-order demo. One anyone can download. The industry has been excessively greedy and its not fair to ask for a chance when that chance costs anywhere from 60 to 80 $ or €. A demo makes the most sense. It gives a chance and its free to the player.

I feel like I'm being peer pressured into dating someone. "We know they're not your type, but just give them a chance!" Then 3 months down the line into the relationship you knew that gut feeling you had was right. No one talks about how they peer pressured you. And no one apologizes.
