I actually found a ton of bricks when I was clearing the underbrush at the back of my yard - turns out, when the house was built, they left the extra bricks on the back hill, and over time the bricks ended up buried. I found about 200 bricks in all. Not enough for a pathway this extensive, but they did become a great, free garden edger.
Kevin I think you need a tiny bistro table with two chairs on your little feature corner. You and Jacque will have a place to rest if you need it, a place to sit and have a beer in the evening or a little table to set plant trays and stuff down while working in the front garden.
Walkway looks beautiful, Kevin! I scrolled through the comments and noticed there seemed to be a few folks expressing what seemed to be some resentment about getting the materials donated to the homestead. I come from a family of small business owners and my impression is that Kevin seems to prioritize small/independent businesses for projects on his homestead. So in this case, the Epic Homestead got 3,200 in materials (not including the cost of the labor). In return, this company got free exposure on a channel that has over 90 thousand subscribers, the main channel has well over a million and that’s not including the social media accounts. Think about how much marketing costs for independent businesses vs. the large corporate big box stores. This homestead is Kevin’s home, but it is also a business. This is what independent businesses building mutually beneficial relationships looks like.
I love watching how The Homestead is evolving. Your videos are so informative and clear. I hope that you'll do a grand tour of the place to give us an overall vision since so much has changed.
That corner in the front yard, with the seat you were eating grapefruit on, would be perfectly suited to have a little wooden pergola, perhaps with some vines creeping up and over. Would make that corner more of a feature, break up the garden areas, and provide a little chill spot for you to read, drink, etc. Maybe even make them passionfruit vines to get even more produce

I did stone walkways and patios for work one summer. In Oregon- due to water- we’d do 4-6 inches of 3/4 minus compacted with 1 inch sand to lay on fallowed by locking playground sand between the stones.
We're so soggy here xD I was just mentioning stones and steppables but I'm not sure due to the lack of rain there they would even be able to do anything like that.
1:19 am in PH time and I'm still watching yt videos. Hahaha. Can't wait for everything ro settle down and you can plant more crops
