#thebadbatch #starwars - Krátké a kreslené filmy
"Recover their fallen"
"But sir, they're traitors"
"Perhaps, but they're clones. We owe them that".
Man that hit me
I feel the same way. At least some still respect the clones.
Considering we see Wolffe in Star Wars Rebels with Rex and Gregor in their retirement, his time with The Empire will be short lived.
What an useful comment
We still don't know if he's gonna get punished for what he did during this scene
@@ErykRollhe could get punished but we all know he’s gonna come out alive regardless.
His squad is most likely gonna get executed when the Empire finds out
📽️🏁
Also, probably explains why wolffe still thinks the Jedi are traitors in rebels since he was with the empire longer
It's finally nice to see a commando act like a person not a droid
Gregor:
The commandos that aren’t on tantis aren’t aware of whats going on there
I feel like that guy was fresh from training didn’t even see combat, otherwise he would have had more autonomy
@@vidicuss3933 dude they're guarding the whole facility on tantis how do they not realize?
Those commandos seem to be kinda ignorant on the morality of the empire.
So that explains how Wolffe ended up living with Rex and Gregor in Rebels as Rex eventually helped him to escape the Empire
I’m sure maybe more episodes of wolffe might play some important parts for the story
Also, probably explains why wolf still thinks the Jedi are traitors in rebels since he was with the empire longer
heres a wild shot in the dark: wolffe's inability to capture omega in this episode would lead to his whole team captured and sent to tantiss where he finally understood what rex meant, he ends up sending a message to rex asking for help and rex for the sake of old times is willing to bust into tantiss, sacrificing the whole team including the bad batch as they died trying to protect omega (judging by how project necromancer did successfully bring palpatine back) and only rex wolffe and gregor managed to escape and survive
Did he actually escape the Empire? He was still on speaking terms with the Empire in Rebels so maybe he was able to retire with no issues.
I was expecting Wolffe to leave with Rex, but I like this ending because the seeds have been planted in Wolffe’s head and we know he’ll survive to join Rex and Gregor by the time of Seelos
Greer, Samson, Fireball, Nemec. Too many lost 😮💨
Unfortunately 😕
Damn so many casualties
They died as heroes of the True Republic. We salute these fallen men. They're not just Clones, they're true men.
@@RegentOfGreece whats even more sad is that they are dying by clones there own brothers killing them its sad and I do not like it tbh.
@@Angel05433yeah reminds me of Krell. I don’t which is worse, being deceived by your Jedi commander who was a traitor and deceived you into killing your brothers under the guise of them being the enemy or your new management convinced you that your brothers (who refused to follow unjust orders or being captured and experimented on) are the enemy and have to be killed or captured
I'm glad we finally got to see Rex and Wolffe reunite again after waiting for so many years
Years? I mean not much time has past yet
Yes nearly 2 years have passed since Order 66 @@ErykRoll
@@Rohan_ss9xc damn what, DAMN i forgot
Half if you say
@@ErykRoll I believe he was referring to the time when Rex and Wolffe appeared together in Star Wars Rebels and we were never shown how that happened.
Season 02 Episode 02 The Lost Commanders - we've been waiting for this moment for almost 8 years.
That Commando with Woffle seems more receptive to the fact that Rex and the Batch are still their brothers. Why aren't the Commandos of dentists not?
More brainwashed?
@@tigertank8991 Probably?
Dentists lol
Isn't this commando the only one we've seen that is not working on Tantiss/Hemlock? I think the ones working for Hemlock are the ones that went through his re-education program
@@azriffazli4670Don’t think so, I mean not all Commandos are on Tantiss, could be the reason why all the clones in this scene felt surprised when Rex said that their brothers are being experimented on
"hunting a child"
predators hunt, so wolffe is a child predator.
"Take a seat, Mr. Wolffe." 💀
It's clever, but it's so bad.XD
Ironic how the clones are all children themselves
Isn’t Omega technically older than Wolffe?
Somebody call Chris Hansen!!!😂
Tbh what caught me off guard with this moment was the clone commando's reaction to all this.
He took it better than I expected, all the other commandos like the ones on Tantis would have arrested Wolffe for treason and disobeying orders but that commando didn't seem to care.
He actually agreed to retrieve the fallen bodies of his clone brothers as well, the other commando's however on Tantis do not seem to care that their brothers are being experimented on.
It makes me wonder why this Commando in particular seems more receptive than the rest....
Maybe the commando wasn’t like the ones at Tantis and cared about his brothers
because they are individuals
Hilo is his name I think. But I agree. It’s the subtle movements and nodding of the head as Wolfe explains why. It shows the respect that they have for each other, and the love all clones share for their own brothers. This episode was amazing.
@greatsaiynnoob1632 Commandos are even more independent than Arcs, no surprise, there.
Probably peer preassure.
Still pissed Nemec, Fireball, and all the new guys got killed off! That Deviss-looking guy got me excited, too! If that was him... oh boy... 😅
I was hoping the Red trooper lived... I thought he would have been Racket from "Rico's Brigade". Lol
yeah they realy destroyed the chance for new star wars Storys where they gather enough clones to help the rebels
@@fluffypuffyboy586Would break canon
I’m glad that I’ve got to see Wolffe and his Wolf Pack, I hope they’ll work together with Rex in later episodes.
Can't tell if those clones are even his wolfpack, Comet, Sinker, etc. None of them seem to be there
@@ErykRollyou can’t tell because they were all forced to remove the paint job on their armor. But still, there’s no confirmation if it was them or not.
Clone rebellion is looking for-shadowing
I'm surprised the Empire let Wolffe keep the wolf design on his armor. I thought the Empire was supposed to erase any and all individuality in its military, especially with the clone troopers.
@@rashworth080could be to distinguish him as a commander like how they did with Cody
Unusual seeing Rex without the pauldron.
Howzer isn't wearing one either
Probably just wants to be lighter, plus he's mostly wearing a cloak now and I imagine he feels uncomfortable with all of that on
"Perhaps. But they're Clones. We owe them that."
This line hit me in the feels like a gut punch.
I have watched this scene like 15 times already and cant get enough of it
1:55 Just imagine if Wolffe had a response to that
Rex: You’re hunting a child
Wolffe: Rex, we’re all children! I mean you and I are still in our teenage years
and the entire droid army were barely 2 years old. so the whole war was just child’s play?
It’s a clone of Crosshair. That’s why Crosshair is locked in. The clone assassin is Crosshair
He isn't, their hasn't been enough time to make one even if so it would be faulty because it's a clone of a clone
Is either Cody or a simple OP assassin
or a modified clone with Crosshair skill set
Bro I’m calling it now it’s tech
@@brockcarter8748since tech is defective then that might be incorrect
Knowing that Wolffe and Rex will be on the same side again doesn’t make this reunion any less awkward
I really wish rebels didn't exist so this all felt like an actual surprise
Wolffe is an honorable man living amongst deceitful cowards.
Well if that isn't the quacta calling the stifling slimy
Clone commando's body language during their entire dialogue is pure gem here. It Makes sense that not all commandos were sent on Tantis and just unaware about what their less lucky brothers are doing there. Maybe they passed even more brainwashing than regular commando units, considering Scorch's acting.
I noticed that Commando agreed with Wolffe at 3:04😭😭 so some Clone Commandos have hearts to their brothers instead of JUST following Orders
I have a feeling these clones will joined forces and face Vader. Then rex and Wolfe gonna escape. The bad batch will sacrifice themselves
Nice Victory and Death reference.
Seeing that commando it is very funni that when Omega says "it's true" and Wolffe comes forward - the guy instantly lowers his weapon without order given
One of "these guys" "these clones" who were trained outside of others, who was not so liked by other clones is convinced faster and easier than Wolffe
Incredible, love little details
Well this isnt the first time Wolffe hunted a kid *cough cough* Ahsoka
To be fair at the time Ahsoka was in her late teens, omega barely seems like she's 10 half the time and I imagine she's also had the rapid aging the clone had
@@hammer1349 Omega ages normally, so she is technically older than all clones. My point still stands, late teen is still a kid
@yourGrandma17 Fair, though Ahsoka had also been through multiple years of live combat and was a fully trained jedi. She may be similar in age though her experience is vastly different. Then again, where I live 16 is the legal age of adulthood, take that as you will
Okay to be fair all evidence at the time overwhelmingly pointed to ahsoka being a traitor, and she was an armed and dangerous Jedi. Hardly the same thing.
@@hammer1349it could also be that Ahsoka's race ages faster and also lives longer than humans
You can tell Wolfe’s compassion allowed him to let Rex & the Rouge Clones go, as his general was Jedi Master Plo Koon, who famous once said that the Clones aren’t expendable to him.
What surprised me was that hemlock sent the clones after them instead just some imperial officer with tk troopers.
For all we know, this could’ve been a trap setup by Hemlock to punish Wolffe in the long run.
Maybe they were the closest quick reaction force on hand
Both very plausible.
Clones were still the most well-trained, battle-hardened soldiers in the Empire, and the Empire couldn't rely on overwhelming force yet as it was in its building phase.
Don't forget that this is just 1 problem of many. Former Separatist cells and Republic sympathizers rose up all over the Galaxy when the Empire formed Vader spent years putting down insurrections during this time. There's dozens of clone commanders like Neyo, Barca, Bly that are either training Stormtroopers or putting down insurgency. @Gasssolo
I loved it when all the other clones stood up straight once Wolffe says "But they're clones." Its like they remembered that they were brothers and not just traitors.
Wolffe still loyal the Empire
Was he not also the one who informed the empire when they met kenan and ezra?
@@chtal64147 I wonder why Crosshairs turned bad 🤔
@@nealsmall9316 Hard to say but the control chip did help.
i can't help but notice that Wolffe led a hybrid force of clone and stormtroopers to capture the rebels, yet when he confronts Rex, its entirely with clone troopers. Just a great detail.
because Crosshair shot down the other shuttle, and the TK Troopers were aboard it and died. I also noticed there was only 1 commando when there were previously two, could probably be Hilo or the unnamed commando.
Yeah. Lucky that. TK troopers wouldn’t have listened to Wolffe. Right now they’re training below clones but I bet they have the same mentality as imperial officers; seeing them as disposable assets.
I like the detail where the clones all stood up straight when wollfe said they were clones. Deep down inhibitor chip or not (with exceptions of the shadows) clones care for their clone brothers
The commando nods as you can see he shows respect for woffle
Plo would be proud that his Commander refused to arrest Rex and his network
Keep forgetting Omega is probably the oldest one here.
😂
True but she’s the less experienced one there though. 😂 still it’s pretty funny that she is technically older than all of them.
Wolffe has the byakugan
Subtle clone leitmotif when wolffe sees them leave
Gotta love that even though the commando clone is still under the influence he still gives respect to his fallen brothers a clone commando rebel anyone?
Soo... Wolfie worked for the Empire... only to be with Rex and Gregor on retirement and then he told the Empire about the Rebels before changing his mind and helping them in the end?
It would explain his paranoia in Rebels.
He was still on speaking terms with the Empire in the beginning of Rebels so maybe he was able to retire with no issues and was actually hiding Rex and Gregor with him. That changed when the events of that episode occurred.
Rex and crazy clone--I mean Gregor, all were hopeless. Only the three of them on a wasteland, given up on any fight, AND answering to the Empire. This show has some serious explaining to do.
It’s nice to see one of the grunt clone commandos be given a little bit of character. Unlike all the ones we’ve seen at Tantis with the exception of Scorch
Fireball,Nemec had right to survive 😫
Wolffe is real one.
When I was watching this episode at first hand, I kept on saying to myself, “Wolffe please see Rex” multiple times. And when I saw it happen I was screaming in my head “YES!!!!!”
Im surprised that empire hasn’t given clones TK Armor. Also I firmly believe that Operative clone is Cody
How would it be Cody? There's no way he could've been on Tantiss and brainwashed into this operative. He completely gave up on the Empire and went AWOL.
@@fokom6328 but wouldn’t he had been with Rex this entire time
I always theorized that it took a lot longer for Wolffe to eventually rebel based on the fact that he still retains anti-Jedi sentiment in his Rebels debut and this episode confirms it
Rex: "Open your eyes."
Wolfe: 😉
The sound when they takes off their helmets is so satisfying to hear.
During the Clone Wars, Wolffe and the Wolfpack were so underrated, but I found them cool and Wolffe became one of my favourite Clones, so it was cool seeing him again and I always wondered what happened to him; because we see him with Rex and Gregor in Rebels, it got me thinking how or when he got his chip removed, but seeing him with the Empire really shocked me, so it's for sure we'll be seeing Wolffe again, but cool seeing him and Rex reunite. The Wolf has made a comeback!
This is by far the BEST star wars shows I've seen 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That commando wasn't the usual bad guy goon his brethren usually are.
Brothers reunited after the clone wars 😢😢😢😢 and later United as one years later. Rex lost many many brothers, you can even hear his voice break a bit. But in the end gains Wolff’s trust and loyalty back ❤❤❤
Here's another Star Wars Reference. Rex talked sense into Wolffe to open his eyes to see the Empire's true colors for hunting Omega and every other clone just like how in Rebels Rex talked sense into Wolffe when he reminded him that the Jedi (Kanan and Ezra) are not the enemy.
Or when he attempted to convince Jesse during Order 66
Love the detail that the shoulder pad his pauldron covered is clean while his other one is filthy lol
Top 10 Star Wars betrayals.
I hope howzer don't die
I dont know why I dont like to see clones dying. It just hurts
He most definitely will sadly
It is always going to be so crazy to see some of my characters of my childhood return to animation that looks so real now
It's one thing for Wolffe to decide to let Rex go. But it says a lot when the other clones under Wolffe listened to the order.
this scene gave me goosebumps
2:03 Heard a little bit of Temuera Morrison in Dee Bradley Baker's line there
Despite the “loyalty the to the empire” , the clones fought for each other depsite the rank according to this episode
When the music started hitting. I started tearing up. Rex, and the clones have had the best story of any characters I've ever known. The music was a direct throwback to the original clone trooper theme. And it had me on my knees.
Remember in rebels when he was kind of in and out about the jedi being traitors? I think hes gonna go under the conditioning that those assasin clones are on tantiss and they are gonna take his chip out, and hes gonna consistently struggle with his mental state
1:53 you mean "open your EYE"
"But sir, they're... traitors." Idk if it's just me or if its even on purpose but I can hear the slightest hesitation in that commando's voice before he called his brothers traitors. He knows he's lying to himself.
Some people think someone from Wolffe's squad will rat him out but im not sure. Surely theres something significant about Wolffe saying "they're clones, we owe them that" then the lingering shot on the ship full of only clones
WOLFFE LOOKED SO FINE AHHH 😍
Seeing the Clone Commando and the word "Tantiss" in the same scene is haunting to think about considering there was a possibility Hilo would've taken command and immediately arrested Wolffe because of how secret the operation is. It's still possible Hilo was assigned as a "Loyalty" officer due to how sensitive the mission is to clones
“Open your eyes” 😂
ngl, I like how the Clone Commando nodded at Wolffe that they owe them because at the end of the day they are their brothers knowing the fact that their entire family or species are about to be extinct/defaced
Es Raro pero wolffe genera calma en todos los soldados ,incluso en el clon comando
Rex without his pauldron and ammo pouch looks weird. Wolffe looks better cus he naturally didn’t have em
Interesting that the commando didn’t fight Wolfe.
Such an awesome episode, loved seeing a ragtag band of rogue clones with different armors fighting against the Empire...too bad they were gone so soon!
Open your eyes.
Wolff: I only have one eye 👁️ brother..
Rex just lose 4 men to a single Shadow Clone assassin. My heart was beating throughout the episode hoping Howzer and Nemec would at least made it but only Howzer made it alongside the others... RIP To Nemec and the other 3.
That assassin had plot armor
This is the first time we see Wolfe post clone wars outside of rebels right? This is the first time we see him after the end of the war and in the bad batch
It's been a long time Wolffe!
I’m worried about when Gregor told Wolffe he’d get his Wolffe pack back.
Cause he is still a commander in the Empire’s military and his has a detachment of Clone Troopers.
Maybe the 104th were reassigned, but I think Wolffe and the troooers we see here also stand down are the Wolffe pack and they’ll die fighting like Wolves against the true enemy, the Empire.
When you and your homie see each other with your secondary friend groups
This is an interesting wrinkle considering that there are witnessess to this incident and yet Wolffe is listed in the Empire's records as retired/decommisioned as of Rebels, so apparently he didn't escape and may have made use of his status to hide Rex and Gregor...
And all of them are Clones the TKs weren't present and the assassin was trying to survive the fall
2:33 Really wished that Gregor had painted more of his armor to that of his original armor had had!!!
If you looked closely, his right arm pad has a bit of yellow in it
@Hybridsusual1st I've noticed, but isn't that all that he could do?
i love how at 1:56 the force theme kicks in slightly
Sounds more like the clone thene
Thats the clone theme
Now let Rex meet Cody again
0:29 this gives the spiderman pointing at spiderman vibes
Brother to Brother
Still need an explanation on how clones met up with Kanan again and explained that it was chips in their heads. Seems doubtless that Kanan will make another appearance. Also maybe a flash forward scene in the finale showing Rex and Wolfe post-Endor with an Ahsoka or even Ghost Crew cameo??
Rex the clone wars
"Rex, shut up. I'm a child, you're a child. Come up with a better argument.
At some point we know Wolffe is going to come to his senses
I have a feeling the assassin clone is tech
Or Cody
@@tigertank8991Why do you think Crosshairs turned bad 🤔
There is no possible way that it could have been Tech. Tech isn't as proficient in combat as Hunter or Crosshair. If it really was Tech, Crosshair would have clapped him.
@@tigertank8991Cody went awol
Crosshair said that reconditioning didn't work on him because he is defective. So given that, it wouldn't work on Tech either.
It's most likely Cody or a Cloned version of Crosshair
Wolfe still has the emblem Plo Kloon gave him
I am surprised the Clone Commando didn't arrest Wolffe for his orders.
Commander Wolffe!
Haired Ventress!!!
I’m so glad he did the right thing here becuz I would hate to see my 2 faves fight
Ik Rec convincing Wolffe was a difficult task
Wonder how Wolffe got away with keeping his unique armour design despite it already being grey , as Cody's armour was turned grey too .
It seems that Wolffe and the clones still got under the effects of orders of the Empire they called "Execute Order 66"
Respect for Wolffe lmfao
Omega is technically older than all of her brothers
This had to be the most emotional scene of the series so far. Unfortuantely for us all, i think the finale will hit harder, i hope it doesnt
Wished they'd mention Plo Koon in this scene
I assume we’ll see Rex and the others go to Tantiss and Wolffe will help them free the prisoners
I love this, seeing Rex and Wolffe again, but I really, REALLY want to see Rex see Cody again, but have not seen Cody since he went AWOL in season 2, which was really disappointing because I was hoping we would see a lot more of him...
