Yo Josh. Maybe try putting the GoPro inside the goal, maybe move it toward the back corner so it's not in harms way. It'll give a better idea of where the ball is relative to the goal, it's difficult to appreciate your shots when u cant see the goal frame

Everyone is wondering how come he can kick it so hard. This is not something that comes with practice. It comes with explosive training. My shot power increased when I started doing a lot of sprint workouts coupled with heavy low bar squats. The more your hip, thighs, glutes, and hamstrings can generate the more powerful your shot will be. Of course in soccer you should always lock you ankles when shooting hard.

Josh, how does the fit and sizing compare to the Magista Obra 2 (turf if that makes any difference, doubt it)? I'm a size US 7 in the obra 2, and it fits me perfectly width and length-wise but I'm worried the hypervenom is slightly narrower and will squeeze and cramp my foot, a problem I've had with many cleats. Thanks man!! Or is there any other boot you can suggest that will fit a wide foot with a much thinner and less bulky sensation than the obra 2? I've tried the x 18.1 but they're slightly too narrow for me, giving me cramps.

That's something that I'm in the process of working on.
Do you think that because of this low cut flyknit boot change they will do the same for the next generations of the Magista and Mercurial? Like a low cut superfly for example? It got me debating mainly because of how iconic the vapors are and would be interested to see if they will make them flyknit.
Like I said in the video, I think it depends on how well these end up selling. I wouldn't be surprised if we get a low-cut Obra or Superfly in their next generation of boots. With that said, I'm not sure that they would eliminate the Vapor model, or make it Flyknit, if they decided to make a low-cut Superfly. We'll see I guess.

I just have one question about this shoe, how do they fit for a person with super wide feet? You see, I have the type of foot that's called the "pancake foot" - wide and flat... for the most part, I do fit in couple of shoes such as, copas, and the last version of Aces 15.1 leather. I was wondering how these would be compared to those..?

If I'm picking a shoe with a collar, I prefer the Obra 2. I'm a big fan of the feel of the upper on that boot.

I think they're really good, although I would also consider the Copa Indoor, which I would argue it better quality for a lot less.

Hey josh I have a question! Since the bottom of the X16+ wears off, what if I colour it in with like a marker or a sharpie, will that affect the boots weight or affect the boots in any form?
It shouldn't, but just know that the marker is going to wear off almost immediately.
Hey josh, what's the main difference between a cleat with an artificial grass sole plate vs. an indoor shoe with an Astro turf bottom? Which one is better for indoor turf play?
An AG shoe will offer much more aggressive traction, and will feel more like wearing an FG boot on natural grass. You can use a turf shoe as well, the traction just won't have the same bite as an AG stud pattern would provide.
Anyone else get blisters with this on their achilles tendon area? Any solutions??

I can recommend all three of them, it's just a matter of what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. They're very good shoes, just very different.

Not really. It's very unlikely that something goes wrong during the first 10 or so hours of wear, which is about the maximum amount of time I'll spend wearing a single pair of shoes for testing/review.
So you said that these Phantoms 3 would fit wide feet. Also compared to the Puma Evopowers you said that they would fit wide feet well also. Do you think one or the other is a better wide foot choice?

I am debating getting either the Hypervenom elite 3 or the Tiempo legend 7 elite. I am a winger, Ive previously had mercurials and currently have the superfly v but I keep rolling my ankle. So in terms of quick movements which would you recommend out of the Tiempos or Hypervenom for agility as well as stability?
Nothing is more stable or agility focused as the Mercurial line. You ankle rolling issue is not because of the boots, I guarantee that.

are there different upper on the hypervenon 3 ? i bought the white blue hypervenom phantom 3 fg and the toe area feels so stiff. the outside of the foot feels great with flyknt but i dont think there is flyknit on the front area or am i wrong ?
They haven't changed the Flyknit upper at all.

Both the Phantom 3 and Obra 2 are fantastic shoes. It really is just a matter of what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
I got the Obra II and I wasn't as satisfied. Go for the Phantom 3!
