I like the fact that nike tries to improve its take down models and gives us value for money whilst adidas gives value for name

Thanks for this incredible video! I play soccer since my entire life, and I only buy takedown models from nike or adidas. However this year I wanted to try nike because I really like the colorway from the new Hypervenom 3 line. I bought the Phelon IIIs and never in my entire life worn such good looking, comfortable, and premium takedown models like these shoes! And for only $80!! These shoes are awesome and nike have really improve their technology in these new cleats.
Might get these in the new black/red/silver colorway. Look sick, and has some resemblance to my fav boot ever phantom 1. How soft is this upper compared to phantom 1?
The mesh isn't quite as open as the Phantom 1, but it's similar.
As someone who has been on a binge of finding the right shoe for my wide feet (5 inches width, EE), I had a pair of these in black/orange from a couple years ago. Found them in my garage, only had worn them once for some reason, and lo and behold - I've got them on, and they fit absolutely perfectly. It took me to wear the other current models of Nike, Adidas and even New Balance, to truly appreciate the fit of this shoe. The material is so much more giving and softer than other shoes I've worn. I had these at a 10.5, I wear a size 10, and my wide feet still get in there, with just enough toe room to keep it snug. Thoroughly impressed with that, and I had to further validate it by watching Josh's review here. My first time posting, but have used his guidance as a compass to decision making. Go figure he was thoroughly impressed with this shoe - and I am today, especially after all the *heartache* I've been going through with finding the right boot. It turns out I had it all along. Love story, maybe so. Thanks for reading!

This is probably the best take down model boots ever made. I'm contemplating getting vapor 12 pro version cuz of how good these are.

Hey josh, in general, would you prefer x16 Purechaos, hypevernom phantom iii lowcut, or mercurial vapors?
Of those three, I like the Phantom 3. They're all great boots though, it just depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
Hi Josh. Before this video came out, I had set aside these three shoes in my mind with regard to my budget : MagistaX Finale II, Hypervenomx Finale II Street and the MercurialX Finale II - all of them being the TF models.
Given the choice between those three and the TF variant of this Phelon 3, which one would you think is the best quality or value for money?
They're all very good, it's just a matter of what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.

i fount these today at burlington coat factory for 20$ one of the biggest reasons i can guess y they were there. they were mis sized. they are labled at size 12 but are the same size at a 10.5 i compared them to the indoor version they had in the store as well in size 10
I have a question: do you know why nike or even any brand will have shoes for FG always, but not always necessary for AG/TF/IC etc.. is this from a financial point of view or is it the mass population doesn't play on those surfaces?
I would assume that they produce whatever they think has the best chance of selling. If they produced every boot in every possible variation, it couldn't all sell. They have to limit what they make to some extent. How they decide that, I have no clue?
I bought these and they fit nicely! However they gave me some bad blisters on BOTH of my heels. I've bought some super cheap adidas takedowns multiple times and none of them ever gave me blisters!!
Were they the right size? That's not a common issue with these.

I usually take a size 9uk I had to take a size 10uk because I felt the soleplate was not wide enough. The magista onda in size 9uk felt fine but as soon as I put on the hypervenoms I felt discomfort in the df model, after a size up everything was fine, I had about a thumbspace btween my toes and front of the boot

Beyond the fact that they clearly like wearing a specific shoe as opposed to changing, there isn't really any specific answer to that question.

The current Veloce definitely has a thinner upper, but I think the Phelon 3 upper is better quality. They're both solid though.

Ideally one of each. You could probably get away with using the AG-Pro stud pattern on both surfaces.

They're on par in regards to quality. They're also very different shoes in regards to fit and feel, so it isn't the greatest comparison.
i used to play in veloce 2 two seasons every single day and still in perfect cond

The Phelon 3 is so much better than previous models. As far as how long they'll last, there's no way to accurately predict that.

And for Phelon 3 I want to get the black ones similar to the phantom 3 with leather, they were black and green.

Your position and playing style has nothing to do with what boots you should wear. You should pick your shoes based on the fit and feel that you like. They're great boots though.
