Not really. It's hard to compare these to anything we've ever seen before. It's common for consumers to try and compare models from Nike and Adidas, but at the moment, they aren't really making shoes that are "equivalents". All of they're boots are quite a bit different from each other at the moment.

Just got my voucher for my shitty falling apart superfly 5s can't wait to buy these once they release :))
Everyone is raving about the poron foam on these but forgetting that the umbro ux-accuro has much more of it
This a very different type of application and feel in comparison to what Umbro has done. It's hard to compare these to anything else really.

It all depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. They're all very different shoes.
I bought these and got half a size up and been having trouble with the fit because of the curved heal
I love the anatomical soleplate of my superfly 5s but I'm very interested in this new upper. Will I be disappointed in the lockdown if I switch? I'm sure I will like the upper better but I want to be able to keep my footing in a game
No. It's a very different fit and feel in comparison to the Superfly. As long as you get the right size, you should be fine.

It's not a matter of better or worse, they're just different. It depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.
I know that I have been asking a lot of questions but out of the Hypervenom 3, Obra 2, and the X 16+ which is the widest. And which one is your personal favorite.
The Obra 2 is the widest of the 3.
Does this shoe look bulkier or rounder to anyone else or is it just me? The past gen hypervenoms seemed more narrow.
The shape is fairly similar, but the fit is a little different because the upper is now Flyknit. I really like the way these fit.

The most important thing with kids boots is having the proper fit and sizing. There's not a whole lot of variety in terms differences in materials like you'll find with men's boots, so that isn't really as important.

Nike has used this system plenty of times on shoes outside of soccer, so I'm fairly confident it should hold up fine.

I like the changes they've made to the stud pattern. The soleplate is not like the Mercurial's NikePlate.
Do you think the sole plate of the Hypervenom Phantom 3 DF is better than the Mercurial Vapor 11 sole plate? I have trouble deciding which shoe to pick!
It's a matter of the two soleplates being very different from each other, rather than one being better than the other. What they've done with the mercurial soleplate is truly unique and it definitely enhances the responsiveness of the shoe. The Hypervenom soleplate is more of standard design in terms of the way it feels, but it's still very good. they're just two different things that offer something different.

Personally have always been a Magista guy. wore the first generation and now currently wear the Obra 2. but I think this Hypervenom will be much better than even the first generation, since they involved the flyknit upper! I'd wait a few weeks. see if you can find them in stores on the 30th of Jan, and try em on!!
These just came out. I don't have enough time in them just yet to say that I prefer it over something else. I'm impressed with it so far, but that's about all I can say at this point.

I prefer the evoTOUCH Pro, although they're fairly different shoes in regards to fit and feel. I just prefer the fit, flexibility and stud pattern on the evoTOUCH.

It's impossible to predict the durability of a shoe that just came out. Nobody has had them for more than a week.

They're not made for use on artificial grass. The durability would definitely be impacted. That's why they make an AG version.

It's a tighter fitting shoe, but it's isn't necessarily narrow.

What socks do you have on?
On mine, the fly wire cables on the orange side of the very last lace holes (closest to the nike swoosh) are about an inch out. Is that something to be worried about
As long as the cables aren't broken, you should be fine.
Would you say the collar fits tighter than the phantom 2 collar? is the collar lose ?
I personally don't notice or feel the collar while I'm wearing the shoes. You can see how it fits me in the video. Depending on the shape of your ankle, the collar will fit differently.
Are they similar to the original hypervenom or hypervenom 2 v2?
They don't really compare to previous Hypervenoms. It's a complete redesign.
