This is what Nike should have done with the Magista Opus 2. The opus is very underrated and if they had flyknit instead of kanga-lite, I am sure they would really sell just like the Obra 2. Well done by Nike for including a low cut flyknit model for the Hypervenom. Josh, will you be making a video comparison between last year's hypervenom and this year's hypervenom?
This is something that could realistically do with any of the mid-cut Flyknit boots they've released. There will be a comparison video, yes.
Great review but when you do the on foot I would like to see more of how the shoe creases when you get on your toes.

Hey josh! Thanks for a nice review! My Q: You were very impressed with how the foot sits in the "deep", ergonomic soleplate on the recent Mercurial shoes. How does the hypervenom compare on this score?
This features a standard flat soleplate base.
It would be interesting and nice to see the Vapor taking the same idea by making a low cut flyknit in the future
Joel Edwards Times change. The beloved Tiempo's are going to change soon with flyknit being included so why can't the vapors? I myself am a traditionalist but from what I can see, big companies are raising the bar and prices of boots, and people will buy them. Lol I remember when the CTRs and F50s where taken off the market and people promised not to buy Magistas or X Chaos. If the Phantom 3 proves popular sales wise, don't be surprised to see Nike releasing a flyknit Vapor within 5 years

i think acc is a major feature, whenever i've worn boots without it the balls seems to slip away from my feet a lot more.i have the hypervenom 2s with original nikeskin and when it gets wet its more grippy imo

It isn't thicker, but it feels more dense. That's the best way I can describe it. Since it's a completely different material, the shoe feels entirely new.

josh, i bet the soft fabric in the part where the tounge would exist can be a place where water and mud could make the most harm to texture and color. which would you think could could last longer (colorize) and not turn into an old and worn boot faster than the other model; the motion blur pack (white/blue)or the radiation flare pack (orange/green). i wanna buy one of these two colors + which do you find better looking on foot?

I'm not sure what you mean. I wouldn't recommend lacing them up any other way from how they're supposed to be laced up.

I don't think either one is better, they're just different. It depends on what type of fit and feel that you like.

The Nemeziz fits a little wider, but overall they're fairly similar in width.

Is the smooth synthetic leather inside the heel area the same on both versions? Does it reach the same height to your ankle? On the low this cut comes right to my ankle bone and is a little uncomfortable, curious if Df would be different.

They aren't nearly as thin as the Vapors. I much prefer the Phantoms over the X16.1.
Awesome! I got the Vapor 11's but I personally find them too thin so I was wondering if these offer a similar lightweight feel with some more "protection." I have the first generation Hypervenom's and I really like them but sometimes I'd feel my feet slide when playing.

I wear a size 9US in Hypervenoms and a size 9.5US in Tiempos.

That's really a matter of personal preference. It's hard to say that any one shoe is more "comfortable" than another. You can achieve a comfortable fit from both the Vapor 11 and a Copa Mundial, but the way they fit and feel is entirely different. Saying that a boot is "comfortable" just isn't an accurate way to describe the fit and feel of a shoe. I think both shoes you're asking about are very comfortable, but in different ways.

I have decided on these because they tick all boxes. I part my playing time between playing on 'firm ground' and a new FIFA approved 'Field turf' facility with a pair of adidas ace 16.1's.
Since the AG variation is not going to work on firm ground at all, I am thinking to buy the FG variation because I read an article saying FG cleats can work on the new FIFA approved field turf. I want to know if that is true. Also, if it is'nt, considering I play more on the turf, is the AG version of the shoe same as the FG version? Any performance differences?

They're pretty comfortable out of the box. These are nothing like the Messi boots.

So it wouldn't matter if you were to have a narrow foot these cleats would still fit fine and wouldnt be loose.

No. The Magistas run half a size small. I wear a size 9US in Mercurials and a size 9.5US in Magistas.

That's going to vary from person to person. There's no set amount of time for that kind of thing. They aren't necessarily going to stretch a lot either.

I am concerned about the studs of another play snapping the fly wire are they very secure and do they have a high chance of snapping?
It would be very unlikely. The actual holes that the laces run through are very small, so a stud couldn't necessarily get stuck in the loop. I talk about exactly that concern in more detail in the video.

The majority of the upper is covered with a polyurethane top layer, which is called NikeSkin, so the majority of the upper will clean off pretty easily.

Not quite. The general shape is the same, but the feel of the upper and the way it wraps your foot is entirely different. I explain in more detail in the video.

Hey guys, I've owned a pair of Nike veloce df for a few weeks now, but the left one is a bit tighter around the forefoot area and a bit stiffer (which I like), but the right one creases more, is looser, and is softer. Is this because it's more broken in or what? The imbalance is very annoying
Is it possible that your feet aren't exactly the same size, something that is very common. It would make sense that the shoes fit better on your bigger foot and feels sloppier on your smaller foot.
