There's a purity to raising a baby animal that nothing else can equal.
That's precious.
Every time I see one of these stories, I am completely convinced that the love we show to animals reveals our true humanity and that is the first step to peace in this world.
Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. There is a way for humanity to be restored to where it should
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account".
That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do.
It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him.
It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER
If you have any questions let me know x

You are his home and his safety. The safe smells are you. Sweet Roo
Yep, nothing trumps being close to 'mama'
You could try putting an old article of clothing in his nest. that might lure him to the nest.
The safe smells are also mom. there's no undoing that. The best case scenario is he lives in the wild but will return every so often. Dani is attached now whether she wants to be or not.
Honestly.
This is better content than what's on TV these days.
I wish little Roo a long, and happy life. 👍👍
CZcams in general i better i would say. There's so much interesting things on here to watch.
Just the other day, those were my exact thoughts.
I gave up television 5 years ago. It is better to choose media than Just live with it.
@@atvheadsSame my friend
Yep TV is trash 🗑
What a very special and precious squirrel mom you are. Hard work but so rewarding. Thanks for having a kind heart.
You’re a very good person, and I how and pray that you have a long and happy life. The world needs more people like you.
When they feel secure enough, they will be with you for ever in your pockets wherever you go. I had both my squirrels in my pockets all the time day & night they never left me. It makes them feel secure with you
I have always loved squirrels. When I lived in Hollywood Hills in a rustic cabin a squirrel would come and scratch our window from the citrus tree, she came in and ate some seeds and enjoyed her time, if we were at sleep and didnt open she would scream down our chimney to get attention hahah. And once a squirrel had gotten trapped in our air vent without us being able to locate exactly where, and for days this random squirrel would pace outside our windows, our doors, and eventually launched inside the house, I was so surprised at its determination, it ran down our stairs to the bottom floor and stopped outside our bathroom. I immediately understood as we had tried to locate the noice in our air vents, I unscrewed the vent and inside was a dead squirrel, still warm. I was so heart broken that we came that close to rescuing it. I still get sad today, as I think of the mate that looked for his loved one.
Imagine a world 🌎 where we all cared for each other like this. I don’t understand sport hunters / Killing animals for fun. I hope someday they realize how beautiful these lives are
Roo is the perfect name because in Scottish Gaelic Ruadh (pronounced Ruag - soft g) is reddish brown (ginger!) which some people shorten to Ru (Roo). 😁🐿️👌🏼
What a marvelous and intelligent creature a squirrel is. Well done, saving this precious baby.
I've ordered a book, called - An Immense World - by Ed Yong... A few copies to share...just seems a lovely cosmic coincidence, to have come across this, your channel Dani. You are so kind and being a good Earthling.
God Jul, Dani, från London 🎄☃️🧘🌌🙏
Oh Dani you sweet Lady! It is very time consuming to raise a little one like this. You all in and I love your animal loving heart ❤️
You are such a good person. We need more people like you.
So sweet. Thank you for showing people that squirrels have personalities and deserve our compassion.
Squirrels are wonderfull🙌🏻🥹❤️such a cutiepie
A little character on his way to grow into the most famous red squirrel, every lovely episode a little more✨
The way he presents himself, almost as if aware of the service he renders to his fellow species by growing straight into our hearts, along with his human mother and the team behind💖
The most famous red squirrel is Ushastik and he's actually a wild squirrel.
At 9:22 "Thank you Squirrel Space for sponsoring this video" .... made me giggle (Square > Squirrel Space) :D :D
I love squirrels . Thank you for rescuing this sweet li'l boo. I'm sure your life is already more rewarding for having this unconditional lover in your life. Bless🙏😍🐿💕💓💗❤️
I *KNEW* this little guy would just be so cuddly. 😊I did not expect him to be ticklish!!! 🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿
Little Roo, like all babies, be it animals or humans, needs the contact with his mummy. Nothing can substitute her warmth, her smell, her coziyness and LOVE..Danny, you are his mummy now..
Thank you, dear Danny, for posting this amazing, senstive video. I enjoy all your videos, by the way...
GOD bless you, little Roo and the whole divine creation.
Beautiful lady, beautiful squirrel
❤ They are so much fun. My husband used to work for a tree company. They cut down a tree, have a nest with 3 little pinkies. In it he brought them home for me. I raised them as soon as they were allowed to open a walnut. They had to go back to the wild. It was difficult to they stayed around the yard. We built them a house. They came to visit every once in a while. They brought their family members back. It was an experience I'll never forget
It is going to be interesting to see how this little squirrel transitions from indoors to outdoors and then into the wild.
your goal is truly noble to set free this squirrel
best regard
this is a delightful tale! you should submit this film into a film festival. It would win awards!
Thank you for taking me back in time to the pine forest of Formby in Lancashire .I have lived alongside red Squirrels virtually all my life, even when we moved to Brabant in the Netherlands They lived in the forest at the bottom of our garden. and of course in our garden Its heartbreaking to know that the introduction of the alien American grey has lead to almost wiping them out in the UK..Roo is a delight to watch,a reminder of these joyous creatures We have non where we live now.Your lucky to have them . I miss them
I don't want to hijack your post but your video took me back to the mid-seventies when I was finishing my medical training in London. I rescued a tiny grey squirrel kit in the street during a rainstorm. He was practically drowning beside a drain, having presumably fallen from a tree. At that time he was still almost hairless. I initially fed him warm milk from an eye dropper and as he recovered and grew over the following weeks, he built a nest in my bookshelves. I named him 'Quirrel' and it was a delight watching him develop. One particularly memorable day was when he discovered the muscle that allows squirrels to spread their front teeth, in order to actually split a nut after piercing it. Then he was off to the races, going through hazelnuts like wildfire. Until that time, he had been patiently gnawing at every one I had given him. He would race around the room using the picture rail like a racetrack, then take a flying leap on to my shoulder. Sadly, after about a year he suddenly developed the signs of distemper and died within a couple of days. He had been a messy flat mate but left me with a lifelong affection for these creatures (plus a few gnawing marks on a couple of my books!).
Not sure who's more smitten, lol! Beautifully filmed, enchanting.
I get that he is wild but he also deserves a childhood phase too, so it's great you've been there to play and offer a secure environment. Also are you sure he's a he?
Yes exactly. That’s a theme in an upcoming episode. I thought I needed to distance myself from him to help wild him, but it ended up driving him crazy because he was a lonely orphan with no one to play with. Yes he’s a boy!
He's getting so frisky! ❤ I love the Mama pouch-hoody! I love his name too; Roo! ❤🐿️. I'm following his journey~story...
Happy holidays to you, “ the boyfriend “ and Roo!! You have got your hands full!! Best video ever!!! Smiles all around, thank you!! Oh, received and Love the calendar!!

No, you won't get things 100% right, but no one ever does.....You have whats best for him in mind and thats 80% of the battle..!! Please if possible video his first interactions with the other squirrels, I'm most curious about that!!!
Good job mom!!
This video should break the Internet as the cutest thing ever seen. Congrats on being a wonderful carer for that tiny bundle of fluff. Keep up the great work.
You are a beautiful person, thank you
you have to be a real life disney princess, you doing a great job raising orphan animals, thank you for doing so 🤗
It’s great to see the maternal instinct of mother craft at work.
My mind kept wandering to the phrase, "A Squirrel in the Hood"...it's the New Yorker in me, haha. I think we'll all have to come together to get you a new hoodie...and new leggings 😅. It's amazing to watch him learning "how to squirrel" and I literally laughed out loud at his rubbish review of your natural drey habitat in a box. Silly squirrel, haha!
Hello Dani, thank you very much for allowing us to be part of this adventure.
If I understand correctly, you'll learn at least as much as Roo 🙃😉😍 It is interesting to see how much of the animals' behavior is learned and how much is instinct.
Warm greetings from Germany
I have always loved squirrels, i just think they're the cutest. This little baby is so precious and I'm so glad you found them 🥺💕
Dani. You are a wonderful person. Just let the baby squirrel decide for itself. Dont feel bad Thank you for the movies ❤❤❤
Beautiful God bless you both
This is soo adorable. 🥰 Both, the squirrel and your care.
They are ticklish on their tummies 😊 I watch our wild ones play with each other and alone with a twig. They are funny & smart. I've made friends with 6 grey squirrels. When I click my tongue 3xs they know that it's Snack time! And they will come running 😊 🐿️🐿️🥰🥰

What a hoot! Hilarious antics, Roo is quite the adventurous little squirrel. You are so patient with him. Adorable video, thanks Dani!
This is so wholesome and therapeutic. Loved the name! 🥰
Hello, i found this movie accidentally. I am very grateful for your rescue of this little animal. i've also seen next episode. I could onle write this: you are wonderful person with big heart. Greetings from Poland. every time i start to watch these episodes I start to cry and i can't stop. This is so touching. thank you once again. waiting for episode #3
What a wonderful series, little Roo has already found his feet. It's also so great that you are returning him to the wild, not an easy task by any means but that is where he is meant to be and will be at his happiest. Fantastic job you are doing Dani, will be watching the series with great interest and can not wait for the next video. 👏👏👏💯
Cute 🥰 you have a beautiful soul to care for such a helpless little guy
He is such a cutie. You have done such an amazing job with him
Roo is so adorable, can't wait for the next vlog.
Videos like this makes me happy! It’s so adorable how you bond together. Thanks for your adorable videos in such a time, where you think everything is bad! 🙏🏽❤️
Thank you for be a wonderful person and the love and care you give to this little and gorgeous baby ❤❤
Dani your are LEGEND! Thanks for your kindness and love to animals.
Watching you interact with Roo is a heartwarming experience. Your compassion and calm nature are inspiring and it makes me want to cuddle my kitty lol. Thank you for sharing your journey with Roo so far, and i look forward to watching more.
I enjoy how he does your hair.
I bet you already ca feel this, when he goes to the wild you will miss him a lot and I bet he comes back to visit from time to time. Thank you for caring for him.
Roo is thriving. You are taking such amazing care with him. It is a joy to watch him and his behaviors. Thank you!
This is the cutest video on CZcams, you're fantastic!
I think in the wild, he'd have the body heat of siblings and possibly mother at least at night and when feeding, so he's imprinted on your smell and wants the security of your body heat and pouch, which is a round, womb like burrough. If you did a soft release, I'm sure he was off sooner or later, but will look in now and then and return with his/her young. This is beautiful footage and story telling! ❤❤❤
What a beautiful video Dani. Roo is really a bundle of mischief!! Take care, John.
You and your videos are awesome!
To me you gave him a perfect name as it matches exactly his color in french ("roux" which is not red neither really orange or brown) and is pronunced Roo in the same way.
Thank you for your sweet heart, greetings from Switzerland.
Wow... the cutiest thing ive ever seen.....
Oh yeah, the squirrel isnt bad either. :)
Long time watcher, first-time commenter (I think?). This relationship is so unbelievably cute, I couldn’t stop smiling and giggling during all the playing. Bless you, this is so heartwarming ❤️😌
this is the most adorable footage I have seen in a long time, very well done!!!! Love Roland
Roo is so cute!!! And Dani is doing a great job raising him! And that nest was a really good idea but what Dani forgot about was Roo wanted and needed moms scent and energy feel so her hoodie was perfect. (and on a side note Dani is very pretty too, lucky boyfriend).
sub is done Dani Coonor. All the best from Zoo Wroclaw in Poland, make sure it is returned to the forest at RIGHT TIME.Also all the best from Banbury.Fingers cross😄👍

Your disclamer are very important. Good to see. This little fellow's readjustment to wild life are of course the main goal, and I'm sure you'll succeed in this endeavour.
Lovely Dani! What a sweetie. Youre doing the right thing, and probably learning a whole lot about your favourite animal too. He's a treasure ❤
Hi Dani,
Robin here from Delft, The Netherlands.
I am happy because I just found out that the Calendar, which was sold out, is available again by pre-order.
So I ordered one!
Happy XMas and all other days, and I which you the best and great joy at your adventures.
I am 61 yo and have parkinson. Your' vlogs give me an inner calm and I really enjoy them.
I, too, have raised a squirrel. I was in my yard. He just came up to me. He had ants all over him and no mommy. He was also missing a toenail. I named him Rocky because my Dad loved Rocky and Bullwinkle the cartoon. I know exactly what you are going through! ❤
he was probably a grey squirrel since reds not native to North America .. x
I can imagine that Roo has the best upbringing any little squirrel can have, he also has the best foster mother in the world 🙆💞🐿️ What a joy to see you play and build a nest in a warm and comfortable hoodie that is also filled with food absolutely magical. Not a dull day at all for little Roo. ☀️❤️🐿️ What a wonderful life 🙏
So generous act of kindness toward the orphan baby squirrel.. Thanks 😊😊😊
I like you both, you doing well.
Greetings from Germany ❤
This is so wholesome and comforting. Also, great photography.
What a lovely name Roo and you’ve been doing a loving, caring and professional job. Roo’s luck was in when your neighbour found him and gave him to you to look after. You’ve done everything possible giving him a great chance at life. He loves the feeling of being close to you and can feel your warm through the hoodie. I guess he sees you as his mother and sleeping away from you now will not do. Love everything about your videos and your narrations on his progress. Thank you for caring for cute baby Roo which reflects you as a person. ❤
What a beauty, Roo. The most pleasant thing I've watched in quite a while. Thank you, Dani and Roo. 🙂
I gave rehab to a baby squirrel whose apple tree had been severely pruned and the nest had been accidentally destroyed (siblings killed). We named him Trouble. He was adorable. Be careful, they love raiding trashcans and then hiding their favorite steals. It’s all fun and games until you don’t eat all your fish and chips….
I raised a baby from eyes closed starving baby to adulthood. It was so rewarding watching her. At first, she refused to sleep anywhere else but in bed next me. I used to wear a hoodie with a pouch that became her mobile home. She made a nest up in my closet filled with torn fibers and clothing we shredded together. .As soon as she learned to hide nuts I started to take her outside to explore. I always left a door open. Eventually I made a secret door for her to go out and return that no others squirrels learned about. (I can post a video and pictures if anyone is interested) She struggled with nursing babies being such a small squirrel, but soon got good at it. Don't worry about them being raised alone. They adapt so quickly.
I think the problem with your cage is a squirrels home is quite small, dark and only has a hole big enough for a squirrel. I made a temporary home out of a cardboard box with a hole in the top half. You might have to put your hoodie in his new home
I would switch from a syringe to a baby bottle with a rubber nipple. Get multiple nipples, the squirrel will chew them up.
I also trained my squirrel to pee and poop on old torn up denim jeans. Every time I saw her getting ready to pee or poop, I would put her on the folded up jeans. She never had an accident again in the house. BTW, they will pee and poop just outside their nest opening.
This is probably the best thing I have seen on you tube for a very long time, thank you for keeping this little guy safe.
In this deeply troubled world of ours a simple act of kindness goes a long way to offset the doom and despair which sadly surrounds us all, so Thank you Dani🤩
The best Nature videos ever, best storyteller and a Voice that just makes one relax instantly. Keep up your amazing work 👍🥰🙏
From a practical perspective I would put and old hoodie in your "drey". You could even make a removal pocket which could start in the hoodie pocket you are wearing transferring it later to the drey. This will start his independence which ultimately must happen if he is to return to the wild.
You bring a smile and tear to my eye, watching how you care for that beautiful little animal. I look forward to seeing how Roo grows and how much more mischief he gets into x
