#animals #nature #squirrel - Zábava
We live in the Black Forest and we have hundreds of squirrels on our property every year and have taken almost a hundred of them to the vet because of fractures over the last 25 years. They all recovered under surveillance of the vet, they are strong little warriors
Wow. Seriously, good for you. 👍
Thank you for your kindness
❤
The "Black Forest" you say? I hear there are special hams and cakes that can be found there.
25 years in the forest, observing forest inhabitants and plants - you have a huge amount of knowledge!
I almost started crying when you said someone suggested Roo to be euthanized… 🥺He is so incredibly lucky to have you and Juan as his „human parents“ 💖🐿🌿
I spent 10yrs in the Royal Marines, served with 42 and 45 commando units and here I am at 71yrs old crying like a baby
while watching your beautiful vlog. Thank you for sharing Dani. ❤
its the vaccines
I don't have the military experience but instead come from a hardened corporate background and I totally get what you said, me too.
Crying means you have love and emotion, they're signs of strength and empathy
@@z.deutch1334 Thank you.
@@philiplewis957 I've always loved animals and I hate to see them suffer.
We raised an orphaned squirrel last year. It was such an awesome experience. As a family we gave it our best and she gave us a lot of great memories and photos. She hung around pretty close to our home for the first year but since we don't have many squirrel friendly trees, she ventured off on her own for the winter. She comes back every few weeks to say hello but is now completely wild and is thriving in the neighborhood at a distance.
That sounds great and it's not unusual for Squirrels to make friends and come visit regularly, that even happens with squirrels grown up in the wild.
Roo is so so lucky to have you both!
Looks like he’s going to need your love and attention forever.
I doubt he's ever gonna be wild. He is now your child. You gotta love him.
From my experience, you are 100% right!
Agreed
He is a squirrel cat
@@user-sy3ji2zh8f Cats are cute, but squirrels are cuter :)
Dani saved his life..,(Thanks you Dani & co…) hi will (always) connected some how…❤️
I loved how Roo licked your finger and how you gently put him to sleep❤ I'm so glad you didn't listen to the 1 vet.
I'm very worried about Roo's next video. I love him so much❤❤❤
For better or worse, I'll be waiting to see how precious little Roo's story goes.
Beautiful animal. Thank You for caring and sharing.
Oh my gosh, what a rollercoaster of emotions, I'm absolutely smitten with this beautiful baby❤❤❤❤❤
What a rollercoaster this video is, and then the cliffhanger at the end 😱
Ooh poor little guy 😢Thank you for sharing this Dani, it's beautiful ❤ I hope this story has a happy ending!
I hope everything ends up ok. It breaks your heart when something you care about is hurting.
With everything that's going on in the world, it's good to see something like this and to know that humanity still has a place after all.
I'm sure beautiful things like this happen all the time, they just don't make the news.
well said
It feels like raising a child.
The both of you doing a good job.
Roo will pull thru
He’s SO cute 🥰 What you’ve done for him is just amazing 💖
Oh god, after all that I was so happy and that ending bought a tear to my eyes, man or not, it was heart breaking to see him ill again as I've been following for months
Oh you can't leave it on that cliffhanger, me and all the reindeer here want to know that he's ok 😁
The little guy doesn't seem to be having any luck, I really hope he's as resilient as you say. One thing is for sure: he has the best chances with you two!👴🙏🤗
Dear Dani, thank you for giving us this wonderful insight into the life of a squirrel. The video is so well produced on so many levels. I love the editing. The music and audio, are so balanced and subtle. You're an empathetic and knowledgeable storyteller - and it is so captivating and educational listening to you. The camera work and quality of your high quality camera and lens makes it a joy to watch and enjoy. Happy New Year😊
No matter the outcome, you've both been wonderful parents that have gone above and beyond for a beautiful creature.
WOW! Did he recover from the illness ? Please post the sequel !!
It's almost as he wants to stay with you guys, maybe you went too fast. Idk.
I laughed so hard though, when you played that lullaby song during the "you tickle him to sleep footage".
All the best!
I’m just glad he came home to you guys and hopefully there is a good outcome. He’s an adorable floof that’s for sure. ❤
Sorry this experience has been stressful to you two but know that Roo loves you both for all the care and attention that you have given. Hoping for a good outcome 👍🐿️
How disheartening and worrisome for precious little Roo and you. Sending love and best wishes for your full recovery Roo. 🇨🇦❤️
I'm from South Africa. I truly enjoy your videos about wildlife in general. Animals can ttuly teach humans about life. Keep on with the good work.
Thanks!
So sweet baby❤
Dani, after watching this video, it made me realize that Rue is turning somewhat domesticated even though he is still wild. Rue depends on you and your husband for food and being protective. It’s not a bad thing and I know that you are trying in every possible way to keep the wildlife instinct there but Rue will always know where to turn to and that is you and your husband. Great episode and I hope I’m wrong. Bless you both 🙏 and thank you for sharing.
Your right wild animals are so resilient but sometimes the injury is just too much, that was the case with one of my visiting wild hedgehogs just before Christmas here in the uk. I noticed on camera he/she wasn't using one of their back legs very well, couldn't walk very fast & wasn't interested in eating at all.
I took them to a local wildlife rescue & sadly the x-ray showed a severely broken pelvis so the kindest thing to do was to put them to sleep.
They must of been in so much pain, hence the lack of interest in eating but despite having a broken pelvis this poor hedgehog was still trying to carry on doing what they do every night.
I'm just glad this hedgehog visited my garden so I could intervene & help as it would of had a slow horrible death out in the wild otherwise I expect.
Wonderful animal and a wonderful story. You also got a very calming voice which is great for these nature stories! Keep it up and I hope Roo survived the cold.
Oh no, Roo sick! Thank you so much Dani, for your relentless efforts to re-wild Roo and filming some of the most heart-touching shots I have ever seen! Keeping fingers crossed that the next episode will turn out well. Roo is such an adorable little guy, how can anyone not love him?
Dani, I love what you're doing 💚💚💚💚💚🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️
Dani you showed him love, warmth and kindness he is so Lucky 🍀 he is so happy because of you ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for taking such good care of Roo. Your videos are wonderful--and your care and fondness of the squirrels is even better.
1:05 an everytime that has happened here in wales we've been told either we can't help you, leave it be or we don't care, same with hedgehogs, jackdaws, slow worms, mice, bats and a heron
My heart melted when he fell asleep in the hat ❤❤❤❤
And now having seen the whole video i'm scared and afraid for what the next episode is gonna be.
Real, realy hope he will pull through once again and this will be the last misfortune he has !
I hope in the next video you can tell us that Roo recovered. Poor little cute friend.
Best wishes from Värmland/ Andrea
Poor Roo. I'm sure you do the best to help this cutie 💛🐿
Wauw!! what a respect for mother nature.
Looks so sweet when you cuddle Rue into sleep. Thanks for sharing this story
Amazing video to bring him back into the wild.
I wouldn't be surprised if Roo contributes sounds to Dune III 😁 Interesting to see how strong Roo's bond is with you two. And how cute he falls asleep 😍 A bad setback with his leg 😢 And the teaser to the next video doesn't sound good either. I'm very excited!
Another very nice video! Thank you so much for letting us be part of it.
Well i started watching, and then my life got in the way of watching the rest of your film Dani, and today i can sit down and watch the rest, when you said something bad happened, you could have hit me with a ten ton weight, but thankfully in the end with your care, and not forgetting you're other half, the little guy pulled though, they say the Human body is an amazing machine when it comes to illness and accidents, how it mends its self, but animals are also amazing in this respect, they have to be, but you can't help feeling for the poor guy falling out of a tree, his leg, falling in the house on his nose and of course losing him mum! Can't wait to see him next time and you of course!
What delightful, beautifully made videos. How sensitive, and insightful is her commentary
Watching from South Carolina in the United States. Roo is precious and you're giving him a chance for a normal life. It's amazing that you've done so much for him. Prayers for sweet Roo! 🙏
You're a great mom, Dani.
Never give up! It's one of the better lesson "Life" can give it to you!
It's just so emotional watching, let alone being his helpers, you must be exhausted. Yes always good to reach out to multiple people ie vets. You are doing an amazing job at re-wilding him. Hope he gets better......❤
I hope Roo recovered and is living his best life .
Oh my God, Dani. This is such a rollercoaster. I can't imagine your worry while all this was going on. Can't wait for the next episode.
Oh no! Gosh, I realize the story is already told and waiting on your laptop since the season is the summer, but oh I feel for you and your partner having gone through such a roller coaster with this sweet little cyclone! Kisses to Roo; dear I hope you have 9 lives like a cat and recover very well; the love and care you've been shown is mighty.
Reallly enjoyed this. Great to see him with that antler- good for the teeth, good for the calcium. And 10 days to heal! Amazing.
He’s beautiful, what wonderful people you are doing all that for him.
May My Master grant you a front row seat is paradise at the master's feet. Thank You young lady for your kindness and patience.
Taking his food to bed and not getting up 😅 Roo is definitely showing signs of being a teenager 😅 Get well soon Roo 😊
Roo is such a precious boy❤️ those moments have been captured forever💜 you both are his parents he trusts you.
These videos put a smile on my face every time. That little squirrel is a born survivor. Ps I went out and bought a EOS R8 because of you haha!
An incredible love bonding story of squirrel 😊😊😊
Roo is soooo cute. Its just stunning to watch two lovingly people taking care for a wild baby. I hope Roo gets fine at all. Sending love. ❤
Watching you and your boyfriend massaging Roo to sleep is so beautiful and precious. No surprise at all that Roo loves to play on moms office chair. I can totally appreciate you and your boyfriend introducing Roo to his enclosure then when he had enough he just wanted to go back home...just like parents taking their kid or kids out to play. It was really wonderful to see Roo recovering so well! The glimpse of your next video looked really sad with Roo getting sick but I hope he heals and gets well again. Roo will probably never be able to be fully released to the wild because he will always want to be with mom and dad. That antler was a great idea! Thanks so much for this wonderful series.
Good lord i cant handle this rollercoaster ride!
Thank you for yet another amazing video. ❤ I really hope Roo has a good outcome in the next video. 😢 He’s the most adorable little fluffy ball of chaos. Like your other viewers, I’m absolutely smitten with Roo. You’ve been incredible with what you’ve done for Roo and for the superb videos you’re making about this.
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your work. I've taken a picture of two of squirrels in my time, but yours are marvellous!
Dani and Juan you are so inspiring! Thank you for having so much love for the little one, and for all you have done just to give him a chance.
You have done an amzing job with this wee squirrel. So caring ❤
What a lucky squirrel to have you two. ❤
I laugh, I cry, and I hate when each episode ends.
Thank you for taking responsibility for Roo, for being such a good 'mom', and also for documenting the journey. Your photography and cinematography are lovely.
I have made a similar journey raising a baby bird 'Cheevey," for the sound s/he made when happy. I dug up most of my yard, finding worms and grubs for feed, after weaning, and later made several trips to the woods until one time Cheevey never returned. Visiting the woods thereafter, Cheevey would return the call, until ultimately only silence.

So happy to see Baby Squirrel is doing better and that you give him so much love :)
May God bless you for being so kind to an very cute animal
So glad that Roo is better… thanks for taking so much care of him !!
Just brilliant what you both are doing for Roo, he's got so much personality. 👍
Fantastic following roos journey. Videos are fantastic
Love what you do, a wonderful enchanted reality you create, I hope the little guy does well
Amazing to see him get over that broken leg. The body’s capacity to heal is incredible and he is such a little fighter!
Dear Little Rue! 🐿❤Thank you for all of your tender-loving care and patience. He's a survivor! Jenny
Roo.
This channel is one of the best discovery for me.
Love everything about your videos. The rhythm, ambient music, camera work, the story.. so captivating.
Is it possible that, with the bond you share with Roo now, you guys might keep it ?
It seems like it doesn't know (yet) how to be in the wild since you rescued it. Perhaps its chances of survival are higher by you side, no?
Anyway what a cliffhanger, looking forward to the next episode.
Chance of survival of course are higher. But this is still wild animal and best for him to be out in nature . .. not at home
This is so wholesome, but how is the poor little guy so unlucky :( it breaks my heart. Can't wait for the next episode. I hope you managed to cure him
Thanks for the videos, wonderfully produced, some great photography and just love what youve done to keep Roo alive and well...
Loving every moment of this fab series. Thank you ❤
Praying for you Roo. God bless and heal you.
Probably the cutest but saddest one in the series yet. Poor thing keeps beating itself up to be with you.
I am getting addicted to these videos, thanks for sharing.
"Always get multiple opinions." I couldn't agree more.
Hi Dani 🤗 What an exciting and heartwarming story, great how you took care of Roo, hopefully he gets well again. Thank you so much for sharing this great story of little Roo ❤🐿❤️
Truly amazing wonderful experience, he is so beautiful. Really enjoyed your videos and love the videos over Rue , wishing him well and total respect to you young lady giving him a life.
Adorable! He is such a baby, the way you have to get him to sleep.
You have taken care of this little baby with great love 👌👍.
Like all wild creatures I think squirrals have natural instincts and intelligence. Nature has given them far more sensitivity towards envirnoment.
They often follow circadian rhythms and seasons for deciding food type and quantity.
Your story is inspirational to many peoples worldwide.
Thanks for sharing 👌👍
I LOVE how sweet you both are with him trying to get him to sleep, and healing his leg, ( I cried ) thank you so much for sharing your journeys with us..
Such beauty love this little guy he is something else the little squirrel I thank you so much for taking so much interest in these little beautiful animals which are called squirrels and you did such a wonderful situation to house and go out into woods with him with a beautiful little red squirrel how awesome, I thank you so much I love your show, Mike
