just found this album with Diana Ross and the Supremes and Temptations on Broadway for 50 cents.......so excited....love my albums !!!
This is from G.I.T. On Broadway and I believe this came out in 1969. You are also correct, the lineup is Eddie, Otis, Melvin, Paul, and Dennis. You're very welcome!

The David Ruffin era and the Dennis Edwards/Psychedelic era were my favorite Temptations lineup.
I remember being glued to the television the night this came on! I liked this one better than their TCB special that had come on the year before.

They lipsinced the song. I was fortunate to attend one of the Reunion concerts (best I've ever seen) and David does indeed sing Paul's part on that song.

@mr2midime if i had to choose one song to be on on my ipod and couldnt pick no other tempts song this song would be at the top of my choices. One of tempts all time best.
What year was this? I can't completely make out the lineup here. Is that Eddie, Otis, Melvin, Paul and Dennis? The only ones we get real good shots of are Eddie and Melvin. Thank you so much for posting this because I had no idea it even existed.

@hopediamond4real You know that video of Just My Imagination with all the Temptations reunion together? Well they don't play the real audio, it is overdubbed with the real song. I would have liked to hear it, because David Ruffin sings Paul's parts. Also any videos out at all of The Temptations reunion Tour/Concert in 1982 or no?

No need to be embarrassed. This medley AND the IN A MELLOW MOOD are yet but 2 of the projects that got The Temptations into the COPACABANA NIGHT CLUB IN NEW YORK.
The Copa was where the big money was to be made.
Once you got in there, full respect was yours from OLD MONEY!!!

They prolly have to wait until Otis passes before they can release this on DVD I'm sure he's fought tooth n nail to block the release. It's wonderful singing but them doing fiddler on the roof is prolly a bit embarrassing for him.

i liked it but i couldn't really enjoy it cuz the whole thing was fuzzy!!! and it's a bummer 2 me cuz i was looking for dat video and i got nothing but the fuzzies!!! it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
paul was very drunk in this performance
So many people automatically assume Paul is drunk on every single video. That's only because of the Temptations mini-series that aired several years ago, and how it portrayed him. I'm not sure what you saw in this poor-quality video that makes anyone think Paul was inebriated
Bruh Mane first of all he was very very drunk in this performance. there was a better quality of this same video but it got deleted he was missing steps late on turns and leg movement he was was drunk

So, it really is all speculation. Nobody but the Temptations know if Paul was drunk in this clip. But our view of it is clouded by what we saw on a TV show that took several liberties with the truth

Not the worst I'ms sure I've ever heard. I was surprised to hear it though. Sunrise/sunset was really nice. Temps can do anything and do it well.
